Do you know how much I have to spell my last name!? My last name is a fucking COLOR for gods sake! AND STILL people need it spelled for them! She said that she wanted to be unique and “herself”, she didn’t like the name her mother gave her. Stupid people.

I know nothing has happened yet and it could be even a YEAR before anything does happen, but I’m already freaking out about this building being sold. I did the math and at the price it’s being sold for. There’s NO WAY you can make money at the current income level (In fact you’d lose about $100k a year). Which means that as soon as it’s sold. We’ll all be outta here. IE Moving again. I started looking today and there’s nothig good. Plus if I move again, the company has already made it clear they would like me back down in the Newport Beach office.

In general I’m not happy here. But I now LOVE where I live. When I was living down there I hated it. I’m not sure I can go back to living down there. Plus then I’d have to go back to making new friends down there, etc etc etc. Plus the cost of moving again. UGH! I hope that he can’t find a buyer. But it really explains a lot. I had an idea back when I moved in that’s probably what he was going to do. But now it’s all confirmed.

This mess also throws a wrench in my plans. I really wanted to get back into school. A language class this spring and then maybe start my MBA this fall. But alas, now I’m not even sure I should go to the spring classes because I might have to up and leave in the middle!

I did talk to my boss yesterday about starting my MBA, he sounded thrilled that I wanted to, and said that the company would be more then willing to work around any school schedule. Just as long as I get my work done.

Last night I watched Little Miss Sunshine and then Nic came over again. We were chatting online and he basically BEGGED to come over. So I allowed it even though I was in my PJs. We hung out and watched Trading Spouses. I can never get over how crazy that show is. I had a good time at least. While we were saying bye, I thought he was going to move in for a kiss. But he didn’t, maybe next time.

I went to bed after he left and someone called me at 10pm. I had applied for this part-time job as a Project Manager in Newport Beach, they were calling me back to do interviews at 10pm! So we talked for a while, it sounds really fun and interesting, but they were just going to require too much time.

The internet here in my Cube has been broken since Saturday AND Sunday when I came into the office. So I’ve been stealing Wireless from somewhere else. It’s very annoying because I called the HD yesterday and they said they would look into it. This was after I’d already wasted two hours waiting for them to get into the office. An hour later they call and say “It should all be working, we can’t find any problems.” So I tell them it’s clearly not working yet and she says she’ll have to talk to her supervisor. Another hour goes by, still nothing. So I talk to my boss and he tells me to just go home. Of course they call like 10 minutes after I leave again saying that they can’t find anything wrong! Clearly they DIDN’T even COME to my cube to see what the problem was! I come in this morning. and it’s STILL NOT WORKING! (Yes, I have access to the INTERNET, but whoever I’m stealing wireless from has VPN blocked, which is what I need to do work. So I can sit here and browse the internet all day, but I can’t do any real work.)

I’m starting to really notice some great differences in my arms and chest from going to the gym. I’m enjoying flexing in the mirror at home. 🙂 I’ve also started picking up running more. I’m doing between 12-15 minutes each day I hit the gym. Which for me is just over a mile of running. The longest I’ve ever ran for in my life! haha. The only problem is that once I hit that time frame I get bored and just stop. Also the last month or so there’s been these three older ladies who go to the gym every MWF just like me.. And EVERY time they go there, it’s the same thing for each machine. “I forget how to do this”…”How much weight are we supposed to use”…”Am I doing this right”. For gods sake, remember people! Write it down, jesus! It’s soo annoying. And then there’s this other REALLY big guy who always wears this really dark sunglasses and spends the whole time talking on his cell phone. Just annoying.

I haven’t heard back from my realtor about the place in Iowa. I’m guessing that’s bad news, or the sellers are just holding out to see if they get a better offer. My dad is heading out this week to look at some more places which based on the numbers look better. But we shall see. One of them is basically next door to my Aunt, that could be a little strange.

MacWorld San Francisco is today. I’m very excited for some of the rumored products. The “iPhone” is cool, and would be revolutionary for the industry, but probably won’t be something I get. The “iTV” on the other hand is something that looks REALLY cool and would totally be something I’d get at the right price and if it integrates into my existing streaming media setup!

I know I’ve complained about this before, that there wasn’t any good Torrent clients for the Mac… Well behold! XTorrent! I LOVE it. It’s still in beta, so I’m hoping they will be adding more features, like IP blocking, file skipping, etc. But it’s a clean and amazing interface. And with the built in search functions! Oh. I’m in heaven. I don’t like that you have to pay for it, but as long as they add the missing features I would gladly pay for it.

Last Wed I went out with this guy Hector to Here (Go read about it). We’ve always hung out as just friends and just to chill. I met him a little under a month ago. Anyways, I talked to him last Thrusday on AIM, and then this weekend I was out and about so didn’t really talk to him. Sunday night I noticed that one of my friends was suddenly awol from myspace. So I start looking around but all the people that I figured would be deleting me were still there (IE Mayko). So I didn’t really pay too much attention. Well Yesterday I go to AIM Hector, it says he’s offline for my main account, but online for my secondary and third AIM accounts.. Very strange. So I check my myspace friends again. He’s gone! WTF?! I txt message him.. “Why did you delete me from myspace and block me from AIM?”… No Reply… So I send him a myspace message.. “what did i do to you to deserve being ignored!?”… NOTHING! Seriosuly what is wrong with people. I did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to him. NOTHING AT ALL! We hung out last wed and had a good time, and now he’s completely ignoring me?! WHAT IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE! UGH

Wow, this is just amazing. I can’t believe this was taken by Saylorville lake! So close to where I used to live, I wonder when it was taken? I found it on NASA’s site, but no real commentary.

What in the WORLD happened in Asia yesterday? The two Asia funds that I own dropped 10% and 13% yesterday! OMG!

Today is the last day of work for me. 🙂 So far the week has been pretty straight forward and boring. I didn’t go biking at all because it’s been to cold! Today after work I am driving out to Pasadena to pick up Chiba, then we are going to drop my car off in Chino. From there we are going to go out to dinner and then to Charles Phoenix’s Retro Holiday Slide Show. Which looks exciting! After that he’s dropping me off at the airport for my red-eye flight!

I land at 8am tomorrow in DM, and hit the ground running for appointments to look at houses and the like! Exciting! I really hope one of these come through. I’ve got my eye on a nice 4-plex in Ankeny! And I think I’m finially starting to figure out this whole mortgage business. Ugh!

Oh, and if anyone is avalaibe, would you please check in on my cats on the 26th?! PLEASE!

PS: Back in EARLY 2004 I got my first Mac Laptop. I’m currently on my Third one. The first and second were both named “Zetta Bytes”.. I was reading an article today and apparently in late 2004, Sun came out with the ZFS or Zettabyte File System! Bastards stole my name!

If anyone wants to steal my current computers name, it’s WakoBytes. Feel free to make her a personalized Filesystem. What a great christmas present! And My wireless access point is YoctoBytes, my iPod is called YottaBytes, external HD is AttoBytes, PakoBytes is my MythTVbox and I’ve re-purposed ZettaBytes to my home database Server.

Anyways. I REALLY need to spead out my yearly costs some.. This time of year is just killer for me in costs.. First the trip, then insurange, then investments, and gifts and registartaion renewl.. Ugh. It’s killer! I also need new tires, new brakes, an oil change, and new windshield wiper blades.

And WHY must they fucking make it so god damn hard to make changes to insurance! Seriously they need to fucking simplify this! I call in because I got my bill and want to make changes to my policy. He says, “well your policy now is $1,200″… WAIT! I _JUST_ got a bill saying that I owe $1,042… How in the HELL is he getting $1,200 from? … Well apparently he cant’ make changes to the UPCOMING policy that I want to pay on NOW. He can only change the CURRENT policy. Why on EARTH would I want to change the fucking CURRENT policy? It’s up in 1 week. I’m not going to freaking change it now!

So the story is that I have to pay the full $1,042 now, make the change and then they will SEND me a check for the $200 difference. What fucking sense does that make. God damn insurance companies. I hate them all.

Second, is DMV. I have to get a smog check. Ugh! How annoying. I could have sworn I just did that last year! I really hope that it’s not going to cost me more then the $50 testing fee. BTW, since California requires you to get a smog check, it should be god damn free.

I hate cars, I hate owning cars. They are nothing but money traps! Why can’t LA have a good public transit system. Speaking of, I got a “Free Metro Pass for a Month” card in the mail the other day. It said “Welcome to the neighborhood”.. Good job being nearly 6 months late! Anyways, I went to the website to try and plan out my daily commute via MTA.. The damn route planner didn’t work.

Before I left for Berlin, I paid all my November bills… I got an e-mail from my landlord: “I received your rent check today, but it is due the 1st of each month, I don’t want to recieve it before that date”… Excuse me, what kind of IDIOT would freaking complain about getting $1,300 two weeks early! If/When I am a landlord, I would LOVE to have tenants like ME!

Speaking of, I really want to get my ass in gear about doing that. I need to start making calls for it!

3 months ago, you walked out of my life without even so much as a goodbye. So why are you still coming here? I’m sick of going and looking at my statisitics page and seeing your IP, the same one you submitted the BF application with. I’m sick of seeing you there, I’m tired of biking and wondering if I’ll run into you in Marina Del Raye, I’m tired of having to avoid 3rd street, because I know you’re there all the time. Ugh! Pick up the damn phone and call, or stop coming here.

In other news. This week has been long. I’ve waking up between 3-4am every morning, then when the alarm goes off I just don’t want to get up. Work has been frustrating. I’ve been working out and cooking.

I re-did the webserver last night. It’s now RAID spanning, so it’s got a total of 180gigs of space. Whooooopy! Already 60% full. I need to buy bigger drives, but I’ve spent all my money on way to much other stuff. MythFrontEnd finially works on my Mac though. So that’s tons of fun. However wireless can’t push enough data. 🙁 I was expecting the Software RAID to slow down the amount of data it can push out, but it still manages a good 11mb/s.

This weekend.. Well tonight I’m obvsiouly just sitting in my apartment. Gotta love that. Tomorrow morning is a 40 mile ride around Griffith Park. Perhaps helping Austin move in the afternoon, if he still needs help. And Sunday I have a business meeting.

I _really_ want to get out to WeHo this weekend, but I just don’t think I can fit it in. I also want to get there for the 31st, but I’m working in Newport that day and have a meeting early the next morning and late on Wed night.. The one Wed night is in Weho.

RUDE PEOPLE

UGH! Why are people so RUDE.

So Friday, I didn’t really do anything. Wasn’t in the mood to. I worked on my mythbox. I moved it over from the 700mhz machine to a 2.2Ghz with SATA drive. So it’s much faster now. Very nice. It was a PAIN in the ass to get working. First I downloaded and tried Gentoo, but it kept crashing on the build. So I went with Fedora Core 5. I JUST got it all working a few hours ago. Lots of stress and stuff.

Anyways, Saturday I was supposed to help Mike move. He said he would call me at 10 to tell me when he’d be here… So i got up at like 8:30 and wondered around the house, ate breakfast, etc. 10 rolls around, nothing… 11 comes and I txt him.. “Where are you”… he’s JUST THEN getting the damn truck. He told me on FRIDAY that he was getting it at 7am! UGH! Said he’d be here at 2.

So I go and do laundry. Come back at 2. Nothing, wait till 3, still nothing. I txt him. “Where are you?”… “Just leaving Irvine”… So I tell him I’m going shopping because I’m not going to waste my whole day waiting for him and I wold come over once I’m done. Go shopping for an hour which is what it should have taken to get from Irvine to Redondo. Come back and he’s STILL not here yet… Finially at 5ish he txts me. “be there in 20”.. I wait ANOTHER hour, and sitll nothing.. “You here yet?”.. sends one back saying that he is here… THEN WHY DIDN’T YOU CALL ME. So he calls me and I flip out on him. I wasted my whole day trying to be NICE to him to help him fucking move, and he doesn’t even have the comon courtesy to call me and keep me up to date as to what’s happening. If you’re going to be 15 minutes late when someone is taking time out of thier day to help you MOVE then you should be on the damn phone letting them know and appolgizing.

I HAD wanted to go horseback riding with Austin, but cancelled that to help this guy. UGH! So annoying.

I also got in a fight with Andrew this weekend cause he’s going to the Getty Villa with ChrisA… He and I have been talking about going there forever… and now he’s suddenly got tickets and can go and doesn’t even bother to let me know. UGH! He was like, “well you can come along”… Yeah and be the third wheel, thatsounds fun.. then he said I could just get tickets for Monday… Again, sounds like TONS OF FUN! go by myself. thanks! UGH!

So thennnnnn. I wanted to go out, Jason and Austin had both earlier asked what I was doing that night, both had made indications (although no real plans) that we could do something that night.. So I message them both… OUT somewhere else. UGH! So I ended up sitting on my fucking couch like a loser again.

Soooo then….. Saturday I had talked to Jason about going bike shopping on Sunday, and getting together to talk about Germany… He said. “Sure, I have a flight @ 2 if weather is good”. So _ME_ that indicates that we have plans and that WE ARE going to go bike shopping. I told him I had a meeting at 10 and would be avaliable after. So I get home and message him, he says, “What’s today?”… UGH! UGH !HGHHGHGHHGHGHTUFHDGHGUHF! So then he’s like, “I’ll let yo know” blah blah blah.. 2 hours later, “are we not doing this today or what?”.. “help up… 2 more hours”… then I get a txt message… “saw leo dicaprio”… WHAT! WHAT!?!?? What the fuck are you doing! We made PLANS to go bike shopping, clearly.

UGH! fucking people. they are all really pissing me off right now. UGH!
