Climb Master!

What a busy busy weekend, do you ever expect anything less from me?

So Friday I got _pissed_ at Jason. He’s just being such a fucking asshole lately. Keeps saying he wants to be closer, but the way he acts is just NOT conducive to that at all. I invited him to go out to GGB with Kris and I and he was just a total jerk about going. Blah blah blah. Anyways, so I went home after work and took a nap. Woke up to Kris calling me at 8pm, we were supposed to leave at 8:30. Tells me he can’t go because he has no money. UGH! I was PISSED. After Jason being such a douche bag about it and then Kris canceling. I mean REALLY!? He was gonna get his fucking money SOMETIME this weekend, but he couldn’t afford to go out and have fun ONE fucking night. It just annoys me that he thinks he has to gout and get PLASTERED just to have fun at the bars. That’s NOT what GGB is about at all. He wouldn’t even consider going at all. Really pissed me off. So instead of going out and having a great time at GGB with friends and meeting cool people. I spent the night home, alone on my couch watching STUPID ass movies. UGH!

Saturday morning I got up and dropped the car off at the dealer. Time for new brakes! This weekend also marks 1 year of having the car! Yay! I put 23,000 miles on it in a year! Insanity! So drop the car off, get a loaner and head out to go shopping with Anthony. We get going and find out that I forgot my house keys in my car. I was planning on having the loaner all weekend, so I wanted to just go back and pick up my keys and then get going. Well we get there and they say it’s only going to be like 10 more minutes, so we just wait around, pick up the car and then head out for shopping. I ended up buying two REALLY cute shirts at Express for like $60. I can’t wait to wear them to work!

Headed home after that and then picked up Kris to go to the Roller Derby show. Got to Glendale with just the right amount of time and had a really funny show from Charles. They had some REALLY hot roller skating boys too. Found out that one of them was only 16! Opps. Came home after that and crashed.

Sunday I got up and headed out Rock climbing. This weekend JoEric and I ran the whole thing which was very exciting for us! We were very scared Saturday morning because the weather said 40% chance of rain. Thankfully the winds picked up and blew away all the clouds and we could not have asked for MORE PERFECT weather for climbing. It was SOooooooo clear you could see for miles! Dan from Iowa came out and we had three girls. JoEric and I finished up the climb that I started last weekend. Still some work to do on it regarding foot holds, and what not. But it’s going to be a fun fun climb! Ate lunch after that and the guy at the counter totally hated us because we were confusing him and ourselves at the same time!

Got home from climbing and got pissed off at Jason again. I was forwarded an email he had sent to someone else. He’s just one shady mofo. I am really starting to not like him at all. He’s just always up in everyone’s business, but REFUSES to open up about his own fucking business. Like I’m supposedly one of his best friends, yet this email that was forwarded to me I knew NOTHING about. Then he posts on Facebook that he’s going to fireworks in MB. Like if I were going to that with a group of people, I would have INVITED him, or at least told him about it. I mean really? If I hear about neat things in the area, I’m the FIRST to spread the word about them so that other people can enjoy it if they wanted to. He didn’t even have to invite me, but at least let me know it’s going on. He’s lived here WAY longer then anyone else I know. It’s just like the whole Manhattan Open House thing. Like that would have been TONS of fun to get a group together and go. Even If I’m not cool enough to hang out with his friends.

Whatever, it’s just VERY annoying the way that he acts about shit. Like he’s ALWAYS txting/emailing “What are you doing”. Even when it doesn’t fucking MATTER at all what I’m doing (because he already has other plans, etc). But if you ask him what he’s doing he gets all pissy and defensive about it.

Anyways, so after all that Anthony came over again and we drank some wine, made out and cuddled in bed for a while. It was nice. 🙂 Went to bed at like 10ish and woke up at 4ish this morning to POURING rain which was nice. It’s been raining almost all day long. I was very annoyed this morning though because A) People have NO idea how to drive in the rain and B) they were doing road construction on PCH and had 2 of the 3 lanes closed. Who the F does construction on a fucking MONDAY morning in the fucking RAIN!

I cannot wait to get home for Christmas! You have no idea! I am just gonna lay around the house, climb at the new gym, hot tub, drink with friends and see family! Yay!

Sedona and the Grand Canyon

Soooo, what a weekend!

I flew out of work at 3pm on Friday and headed for the airport, the flight into Phoenix was right on time, excellent flight, no problems or anything! Got my rental car and headed out for Sedona. After driving through lots of random construction and lots of winding back roads I found the camp ground around 9:30ish. Laid out my sleeping bag and went to bed. Got up early the next morning and headed out to Slide Rock where they were having this crazy Apple Festival. It was alright. Not exactly what I was expecting and the trails there were only about half a mile long. So I made my own off roading trails and did some bouldering up to the top of the rocks which was lots of fun! Getting down was not so much fun! lol. Hung out at the festival for a little bit and then headed off to Red Rock Canyon.

Red Rock canyon was really very neat, though again there were only about 5 miles of trails. I did the longest trail which was about 3 miles and had enough of that so I headed back into town to explore the touristness of Sedona, AZ. I have to say that I was not impressed by the town of Sedona, there’s way to much touristy shit. And the Pink Jeep and competitors are EVERYWHERE! I stopped into the tourist information booth and asked the guy where a good place to watch the sunset was at. He told me to just drive up to the Airport and watch it from there. I told him that I didn’t want to just drive somewhere and that I wanted to hike somewhere. He said “I wouldn’t suggest that, It’s too dangerous.” You know that once you say that I just have to do that, so I pressed him for some good hiking because the shit I had been told about sucked. He finally coughed up this great hike to Cathedral Rock but he said, “It’s way to dangerous to do today.” BAH! I headed out after that and did another short hike where I got rained on. I love mountain weather!

From there I headed off to the Cathedral Rock hike. It’s only a half mile, but it’s a VERY steep half mile hike and WELL worth every effort. I basically ran up the whole thing bouldering and stuff up the side of this mountain. Got up to the top and it was just AMAZING! So beautiful, I wish that they hadn’t ruined such a wonderful place with so many stupid fat American tourists. Watched the sunset and ate a PB&J and then headed down. Going down was just as much fun as going up, and this time I folloed the trail, so not as much rock hopping was needed.

Headed back into town and found this place that was EXACTLY like Panera Bread, but it was called “WildFlower Bread Company”. Got a salad and sat and used the internet for a while then headed back to the camp site and crashed for the night. I had a different camp site this time with a CLEAR view of the sky. Absolutely amazing! You could see all the stars and the milky way and everything. Breathtaking! I laid there for a bit watching the stars and then fell asleep. Around 11ish or so the moon came out from behind the mountians and woke me up because it was so bright! I got a little chilly that night, but after zipping up the wonderful new 0 degree sleeping bag I was nice and toasty! 🙂

Woke up Sunday morning early and headed out for the grand canyon. I got up to Flagstaff and all the tourist information things were closed. So I called some LA people to try and figure out what was going on. I found this great place called “Sunset Crater and Wupatki”. It was a really great drive through the country side and you got to see this really neat lava flow and old volcano, etc. After that you drive about 20 miles and you get to see these really neat old Adobe houses from the Wupatki Indians. Very very neato! After those I headed into the Grand Canyon, checked out my camp site and then did some Rim hiking and took a trail down into the canyon for about a mile.

I headed back up to watch the sunset which the paper said was at 6:30. I find a great location to watch it about 5:30 and decided to just sit and wait instead of running off to find somewhere else. Last time I was the canyon for a Rim sunset there were 8 million tourists who ruined the great spot I had found before.

So I sit there and 6:30 comes around and the sun was still WAY up in the sky, I was getting very confused by this point. Lots of other people started gathering and finally at 7:30 the sunsets! Apparently I had no idea all weekend what time it really was, oh well. Also there was this REALLY cute Australian boy doing a filming about the sunset and one of the great wonders of the world. Some stupid asian walked right infront of his Camera as he was taking video of the sunset and he yelled at him, it was so funny! There was also this asian sitting next to me, wearing a beanie, hoodie, and a big furry coat! It wasnt that cold! I was there in a t-shirt and shorts! Crazies.

I hiked back to the camp site making a stop off at the General store and bought a Grand Canyon patch. Crawled into my sleeing bag and had another amazing open sky view! I just can’t describe it!

Woke up the next morning and had 2 voicemails and an email from work… I called them back and found out that the email server had crashed. I also had this voicemail/email from one of the really annoying guys at work. “My email doesn’t work.”… I assumed that fixing the first problem would fix his problem. But I called him bak just to be sure. He didn’t answer and I left a VM. I started heading back to Phoenix after that because I could just tell this was going to be a disaster. He called me back while I was pooping so I didn’t answer. then called him RIGHT back and he didn’t answer AGAIN so I left a VM. A couple minutes later I get an email from the boss man saying that this needs to be fixed ASAP, blah blah blah. Ugh. So I call the guy back again and he answers.. His problem.. The signature at the bottom of his emails are not showing up! WTF!?!?!? Are you fucking kidding me!? So I have him transfer me to the boss man and I yell at him about that. UGH. Fucking annoying.

Got back to Phoenix and came to the hotel. Have been hanging out with Mark and all the other gay nerds. So many iPhones! And who knew there were so many gay nerds! And some of them are actually CUTE! lol.

Other Drama regarding Jason/Steve/Const and Mike. Not really going to get into it here, but I feel it’s the last straw between Jason and I. And he wonderes why our friendship has been going downhill. It’s because of shit like this. First Erick/Kris shit now Const/Mike stuff. I can’t deal with it. Whatever happened to loyal friends.

The conference is really cool so far. I’ve learned so much already and had tons of fun last night with the guys. I’ve even met some great guys from Argentina and Peru who can help me out down there with stuff.

Dad’s Visit!

It’s been a pretty drama filled weekend around here, but lots of fun.

Last week at work was crazy as usual. Friday I had a demo with this company that FINALLY has their shit together.. Sad thing is, it’s a product from MICROSOFT! I can’t believe I am saying this, but I really really like this software called Dynamics! For once it appears that Microsoft has got something done right! I am setting up a full 8 hour demo for later this month after I am back from Phoenix. I was supposed to leave at noon but this guy’s Outlook kept crashing on him. Gee, I wonder why, could it be because you have 5 Gigabytes worth of email stored on your computer!?!!? WHO needs that much fucking email saved!?! I got out at 1:30 and had some stupid conference to go to.

Got home that night and cleaned up the apartment and did a bunch of other stuff. Nothing to exciting. Got in a HUGE fight with Jason over the whole Kris/Erick meeting thing. I really do not approve of it. Long story short, I was pretty pissed the whole night at him. Then to top it all off as I was leaving to pick up dad, I saw Erick pulling away from Kris’ house. Just rubbing salt in! 🙂

So I go to pick up dad and stop to get gas at the Shell station by the Airport and some fucking homeless woman comes up to me and won’t fucking leave me alone. She started to get a little violent! I was scared. Went and picked him up, he was actually early and his luggage was the first one off the plane so we were able to get home pretty quick and get in bed.

Got up Saturday morning to some horrible overcast weather. Decided to drive out to Perris anyways just to see what the weather was like out there and as we got closer, it kept getting foggier. So we get there and they say they probably won’t start flying till 1, there’s already 2 hours of reservations backed up in front of us, so we wouldn’t get in the air till nearly 3 or 4 if at ALL! So we decided to forgo that and headed to the Marsh Air Museum. It was alright, they had lots of neat old planes and stuff out there. From there we decided to hear out to Joshua Tree. Had lunch at this CRAZY little Cafe in which the woman got our order COMPLETELY wrong! But we ran into these two REALLY hot rock climber guys who ate lunch with us and gave some tips on places to check out in the park. Spent a few hours in the park just bouldering around, hiking, etc. Headed back to LA and made it in really good time, stopped at China Town and Olvera Street, both of which were having some sort of crazy festival! Ate dinner at Olvera, headed over and showed him Union Station and then headed over to Disney to show him that crazy building. We walked around on the top of it and then headed home.

Sunday we got up EARLY again, there was a HUGE train wreck right by our normal climbing place, 26 people died, so that was all closed off. Decided to go to Malibu, George got there first and found out IT was also closed due to some stupid Triatholon. Ended up having to drive all the way to Mojave which ended up being a good thing. We got out there and headed to the bottom. I got to do my first lead climbing which was TONS of fun! I was a little scared and shaking like crazy, but I made it to the top without slipping once! These other random three guys joined us in the same spot and one of them brought his REALLY hot son along! I enjoyed watching him climb… Got done with that and I ran out of the Punchbowl again which was fun! My Ankle didn’t hurt this time, so that’s showing signs of improvement. Of course we ate at Charlie Browns! 🙂

Headed back to RB from there, stopped off at the airport overlook for a few minutes and then drove him through all the beach cities, stopped at the RB Pier and did the “Speed Boat” which really wasn’t that fast or that much fun. 🙁 The best part was that we saw probably 30-40 dolphins swimming along side the boat for a while.

Got back home and I showered then we went out to dinner with Sirin and Kris which was a lot of laughs. We had yet another stupid waitress at the freaking RB Brewing Company.

After that I left dad and went to Kris’ for our end of week drinks. I was only going to have one beer and then leave so he could study more and I felt bad about leaving dad home alone. Well that turned into one beer, a bottle of wine and then a Rogers Roy! I didn’t leave till 1:30am but we finished all of the first season of Heroes! Now we just have to get through Season 2 this week sometime! It was a little awk at times last night with him though, not in a bad way, but whatever. It’s hard to explain! I like him, but I don’t really think we should start anything for the sake of the threesome relationship (not in a dirty way!!) and the fact that he’s just gonna leave anyways! Like I’ve said before he’s a really great guy!

Sunday I got a REALLY long email from Erick again regarding the whole he and Const thing that happened back in April (well I found out about it in April, the act happened in January). I’ve basically decided over the past couple months from taking a step back and really looking at who he is that I don’t really feel comfortable having him in my life. He’s a manipulator to get what he wants, kind of a stalker in ways and there are tons of other little things about his personality that just really sit wrong with me. He was a great friend before, but I just don’t feel comfortable having him in my life at all any longer. I have yet to reply to his email as I’m not sure how to exactly put how I feel into words and I feel like he does deserve a full explanation.

Kayaking and iPhones!

This past weekend was very very busy. Friday I went out with Jason at lunch and we made the trek over to the Apple store. The line was insanely long, so we didn’t stay. That night after work I drove by again and it was STILL crazy long. I figured after the first iPhone launch things wouldn’t be near as crazy! Apparently I was wrong because they have been a million times crazier! I got home from work late, went to the gym and then crashed for the night at home.

Saturday I got up early and met up with Kris, we went back to the apple store and waited in line for an hour, then they pushed us all outside and we realized how freaking far back we were, so we just left. Stopped at Ocean Diner and had brunch with Sirin and then we went Kayaking! That was tons of fun! That evening Sirin and I met up with Jess and Tal and had dinner in Pasadena and then I had a date with a Russian to the Cal Phil. That was very very funny. We kept bitching at the woman in front of us who was a total bitch! The concert was great. We drank two bottles of wine!

Got home and no one had called back yet regarding climbing, I dunno what’s up with that. Sunday I got up and went again to the apple store and the line was STILL crazy long, so I went to the office, got some work done, came home washed car, purged tons of shit from my apartment. Found MORE shit that’s Const’s. It’s amazing for as short of time we were together how much SHIT he had at my apartment! I mean we already took a CAR load when we first broke up, now I’m finding all these random little things of his. Ugh! I dunno how I’m going to get it back to him.

That night Kris and I went to Jason’s and we watched Fargo which was a very interesting movie. I also watched Into the wild at some point this weekend. I really liked that one. You should all check it out!

Monday I worked and it was VERY busy. Got a ton of shit done that day. That night I went to Lowes and Costco with Jason, we had a great time then he came over and we sat on the beach, drank some wine, vacuumed my apartment with his Dyson and then watched Man in the Moon which was also very good movie. I was sad when the hot boy died! 🙁

Today has been another crazy day at work and I’m taking a quick break. Had my personal trainer again this morning and that felt good to start the day off like that. I got a blackberry today as well. But it sucks because it’s a 7100i, which is HUGE. We use them here because they are the only ones with the Push-To-Talk which we do with people in Peru and Brazil and what not all the time. Very annoying. I think I will just forward all my calls to that number to the iPhone ONCE I FUCKING GET IT!

It’s very annoying that that thing has been out for 5 days and there are STILL 2-3 hour LINES! REDIC! I cannot belive anyone would wait in lines for that long for a a fucking phone!

This weekend I am supposed to go camping. Cast comes off on Thursday! We shall seeee!

New Chapter Begins!

A new Chatper begins today. A new job, an ex forgotten, a new life.

This past weeekned has been amazing for me. I spent it in Houston with some really great people. It was amazing how welcome the guys and gals that I met there were.

I rolled into town late on Wed evening. The flight there was fine, i had the front row of the plane and tons of leg room. Really hot guy next to me and he slept the whole flight. I watched two movies which i can’t recall now.

Checked into the hotel which was also good. Headed out from there to meet up with David. We went downtown to some wine bar. it was very cute and met up with his friends Hillary and Jessica. Hung out there and had a few glasses of wine and chatted it up. After a while there we headed out to Hillary’s house for dinner and then out to a gay bar for Karaoke. They sang, I did not. It wasn’t very busy, but we had a really fun time. Headed back to the hotel after that.

Thursday I got up and was supposed to meet this guy to go to NASA, but he over slept so I just went alone. I had a really fun time. It was cool to see the old mission control and what not. But i wish that you could have seen more of the behind the scenes stuff. I guess there was a more detailed tour, but there’s only 13 spots on it every day. Of course they were sold out. After that I sent to the San Jacinto Monument, which was alright. Headed back to Houston after that and met up with the guy and we had dinner before he had to work. After that I headed over to Hillary and Jessica’s place and we went to this HUGE Wal-Mart of liquor! Amazing!!! From there we met up with David and did something? What did we dooooo!? I can’t recall! 🙁

Friday I got up and headed out to Brazos Bend state park and had a great time. I didn’t get to hike around as much as I would have liked to, but that’s because I have a cast on! I think that’s a good excuse. I hung out there for a while, then headed back to the Hotel, showered and then went over to meet up with Emily, Jim, and a few other people who’s names are escaping me. We went to this HUGE festival thing downtown and had a really fun time listening to bands and what now. Went back to Jim’s place and watched the fireworks which was nice. After that I headed over to Hillary and Jessica’s where David, Josh and a few others were at. We all drank way to much, sang, played rock band, talked and had a WONDERFUL time! I didn’t leave there till 4:30 and then went over to this other guys house and we cuddled and slept. It was nice!

Got up at 8:30 on Saturday and met up with David and we did all the art stuff in Houston. That was nice. We went to this one Russian Exhibit in which he had painted these HUGE canvases BLACK and then covered the interior of a church with them. Geeee, what’s that represent?! haha. We broke for a few hours and I went back and napped. Met up with him and Josh again for dinner and then went out to a few bars that night. Again a very very fun night! Got home around 2:30 and crashed.

Today I got up at 9 and packed then went out to brunch with David and Josh again then we just went around the city doing random stuff till 3 when I headed to the airport. I got on an earlier flight so that was nice and just got back to LA.

This weekend had really helped me to get over Const. I’ve realized how much of an asshole he really is and meeting this GREAT GREAT AMAZING group of people in Houston was so perfect timing. I really want to write more about how I feel about this, but I am to tired right now.

I’m also very very scared about starting the new job tomorrow!

Ok. I had a lot more I wanted to write, but I am tired. Perhaps I will come back and update with more details!
