Boring Days

So what has Chris done all day today you ask…

Absolutely NOTHING!

Today has been really boring.

I have acutally got a lot of stuff done, but it all took about 10 minutes to do this morning, so that took me from 8~8:10. Then I sat around and read updates, then read my e-mail from work…

That brought up another problem, and I was reasearching that when Nazanin came in and bothered me about it. She didn’t understand. And she also didn’t understand that I was already working on the problem…

It was much like the Office Space scene where they are talking about the TPS reports. Oh, how I love that movie. lol. I forgot how great it was tell I watched it last night.

After all that this morning, I paid my Electric bill, which was only $1.56 or something, and then walked that over to the Mail Drop thing.

Once I was done with that, I did some more research on the OL 6.0 from M$. Looks like it’s something that we’ll be going for. When, I don’t know though.

Also talked to Chris G about the XServe that we’re ordering, decided to put that off tell the end of September to see if they come out with G5 XServes.

Finally about that time Andrew got online and we talked for a couple minutes, though it wasn’t long before I as drug off to do some more random work, though I really didn’t want too.

I forget what I did, but I’m sure it wasn’t very hard.

Talked to the Dell Guy, our “Next Busines Day Repair” isn’t going to be here tell Friday, though it should have been here today? I’m not understanding that. Maybe they have weekends in the middle of the week?

That brought me up tell about noon, when I got really bored and started compiling an SNES emulator and downloaded a bunch of games for it… Good times. I’ve been playing Earthbound and Various Mario games. The emulator says that there’s a built in Game Genie, and I’ve tried entering some codes, but non of them seem to work… Very odd. I would like if they would though, because using the keyboard is much harder then the controller and I keep dying.

I hate Austin, the new guy here. He’s very stupid and annoying. Just FYI.

I’m waiting on Nazanin to compile Gcvs on her machine so that I can work on it some, but she’s being all slow about it. So I have nothing to do.

Oh, I put stuff on E-bay last night.. How exciting is that??

Also I didn’t sleep very well. No explanation needed, I think we all know why.

Though, I’m going to go play some more Video games.

Your History

So I guess I’ll go ahead and update, even though I haven’t received any updated from Andrew as of yet…

So this weekend was really good, no annoyances that I can think of, so that’s super good.

Friday was uber cute with the whole supper thing, at least I thought that it was. Just us sitting out there on the deck, me cooking, and us eating. I just thought it was really really cute. Too bad there won’t be many more days that we can do that. 🙁

The 3 month gift was really really thoughtfull of him. I still can’t beleive how great it is. And it just makes me tear up just thinking about him and that wonderfull CD.

After that, the movie and that was really nice too. I really liked this weekend because there really wasn’t anything to do, we just sat around and talked and hung out with each other, it was a very good weekend. Even though in most people’s eyes, it would have been just a very boring weekend.

I was semi-annoyed that he was leaving so early on Friday night, but it ended up being alright. I found stuff that I needed to do that night.

Saturday was pretty normal, and it was nice, everything we did was on my website. That night we were up REALLY late having some fun, and that was nice, though I wasn’t quite sure where he wanted things to go…

I was letting him call the shots, and he never called it. So the traveling Condom Stash didn’t come in use. lol.

Though the whole night was very good!

Sunday we woke up, and I don’t remember exactly how it all came up, but we ended up doing it again. I was very happy about that because it showed me that after the first time, Andrew wasn’t completely emotionaly traumitized. It was really great to do that again with him, and really meant alot to me emotionaly.

On saturday we had some shakes with a bit of kick to them, not enough to do anything, but just a little bit of a kick. I wanted them to have a bit more, but my PU’s didn’t have very much in the house, so we couldn’t.

We were talking later that night and he said that it takes 6 shots or so for him to get drunk. I don’t really know why, but that bothers me a bit. The fact that he knows how much it takes to get him drunk. I mean, I know that since I’ve known him he hasn’t really gotten drunk, except for that time that he was in Mexico. But it still bothers me a bit.

There’s a lot of his history that I get the feeling he’s not telling me. Some stuff in those journals that he doesn’t want to tell me. I can understand that it’s his private journal, and it’s all good and stuff, but I just feel that if we want to continue to have a good relationship we need to be open. Even about our histories.

Maybe I feel this way because I have such a clean one, and stuff, I really have nothing to hide. Whatever…

In the end it comes up to his decision about what he wants to divulge (thate really doesn’t look right). And that’s fine by me, I mean we’ve got this far and it’s all good, so that’s fine.

Just as long as he’s not withholding from me the fact that he’s made out with someone since I started dating him.. That’s what really matters.

Anyways, really good weekend, I was super happy to share with him what we did again. And I’m very exctited for the trip. So happy!

And yet sad all at the same time… Why are emotions so crazy!

Weekend Of Movies

So this weekend has been really great. Though not much has been happening.

Friday I met up with Andrew about 7:45ish, we ate Brats, they were really yummy. And it was so cute, cause we sat out on the deck.

After that we went up to my room and excahged three month gifts… He got me Requiem For A Dream and PI.

But best of all there was a CD, with a bunch of paper attached to it… It had a bunch of songs on it and on the paper was the lyrics to all the different songs. I don’t think anyone could top that gift, it was just so thoughtfull and wonderfull. I listened to the CD the next day on my way to his house and it made me cry. I have a feeling that’ll become my newest favorite CD to listen to!

I felt kinda stupid about what I had gotten him after that because it really wasn’t near as thoughfull. But I knew that he would like it, and that’s good. I got him the Cho’ster!

I had actually be trying to make a CD like that for him, but I was planning on giving it to him right before we parted ways in August. But So far every CD that I’ve made, I’ve ended up hating for some stupid reason… Perhaps I’ll continue working on that and see if I get anything that I like out of it!

Once we had finished with that we laid there in my bed for a bit and just talked some, then we went downstairs and watched the Cho! Very amusing!

He left about 11ish, and I was semi-annoyed that he was leaving so early, but he did have to go to work early in the morning, so it was fine.

Saturday I got up and took a shower about 9ish. As I was in the shower my mom comes and knocks on the door and is like, “Your dad needs your help outside.” I wasn’t really expecting anything big, but I got out and then just threw on some shorts and an old t-shirt. Went out there and he had the pond EMPTY! I was like, “WTF?”

I guess a Coon had gotten in there and put a few holes in the bottom of the pond, so he was emptying it and getting a new liner. He needed help transporting the fish from the pond to a HUGE tank that we have… That was very intersting times because we have some VERY big fish in that pond and they really flopped around a lot once you got them out of the water, and then the dog kept jumping in and trying to “Help” catch them, and then when we were handing the net back and forth with fish in it the dog kept trying to bite at them, etc. Stupid dog.

That only took like 30 minutes or so, and after that I was all hot and sweaty, so I jumped in the pool and went swimming for a while. Ahhh, how I miss the days of being able to just swim all day long! After about an hour in there it was time to go and start getting ready to go meet up with Andrew. So I went inside, dressed, did my hair and then stuck my head out the door to tell them that I was leaving. And then they were like, “Wait a minute we need your help.” So I had to go out there andhelp them move this BIG ASS ROCK. I got all dirty and really sweaty, because we were in the sun, and I was dressed semi-nice and yeah. Just very annoying.

Once I finally got to go, I rushed to the half-price book store, and returned a few books, then went over to Andrew’s.

We hung out there for a little bit waiting for his mum to get home, then we went out to the Tropical Snow, but they were closed, so we went to the Ice Cream shop that’s next door and got really good ice cream.

After that we went to the Mall, or did we do that before the ice cream… I don’t really remember. It’s been so long since we’ve been there, they’ve changed alot. And the only reason we went there Saturday was because Andrew had a gift cert to spend. No need letting it go to waste just to prove a point. So we went there, and I just can no longer believe that Andrew and I used to meet at the mall every Friday and spend so much time there, it’s just such a horrible place. Well Horrible’s not really the right word, but you know what I mean. I just can’t believe that so much time has been wasted there.

Anyways, that night we ended up at my house and watched PI. Very goof movie… Though it is a bit strange at times, ok, the whole freaking movie is strange, but it’s still good. I really liked it and I’m glad I finally got to see it.

After the movie (Or again, was that before??) We went swimming and then hot tubbing for a short bit, but it was UBER hot int here, so we didn’t stay long.

Went to bed really late that night, but nothing really interesting happened.

Got up Sunday and we just laid in bed talking untell about 11ish. Finally got up cause we were both starving and went and I made French Toast (Or as the stupid’s in Washington like to call it, “Freedom Toast”). After that we watched the other movie and it was really good too, though just as, if not more creepy then PI.

Once we were done with that we went back to Andrew’s house because much drama was going on there, soemthing about Alex and his Sister and Eggs and not getting on a plane and police, it was just a regular Jerry Springer show over there., I’m sure you can go to his website and read all about it all!

Sunday really consisted of nothing, after all the drama went down we spent the rest of the evening in his room downloading ROMS and trying to figure out some programs. Went for Tropical Snow about 8:30 or so, because Court wasn’t going to be able to go tell much later. Went there and that was really good. I can’t believe I haven’t been eating those all summer long! lol.

After that went back to his house, and said our goodbyes… Only one more weekend of having to do that. So very sad.

Oh, one thing we did do on Sunday was take down a big thing of his pictures in his room. That was really sad, there were a couple times that I started to tear up. It’s so sad to see him packing.

Got home and had a TON of IM’s from people. I know who some of them are, but there were a few randoms, which is weird because I usually don’t get randoms anymore… Maybe it’s because they all know that I have such a hot boyfriend that they know there’s not stealing me away from him! roflol.

Today has been very busy already. Came into work and got a ton of stuff done early in the day, and then Barb came in and her computer was broken, so I had to fix that and then call Dell.. Spent the last hour on the phone with them because they’re “Network was slow.” I think the guy was just really slow. lol.

Other then that, not much really going on.

Well I’m doing much better today and yesterday then I had been all week. Much better.

Yesterday I came into work about 8ish and got alot done. I left here at 10 and went home and waited for Drew to get here…

He finally got here and we sat around watching Ricki Lake and the Springer show. About 1:45 we decided that we were hungry so off to Great Plains we went… EVeryone there was uber bitchy. They were like “We close in 5 minutes, and there’s not slices left.” And not just ONE person told us that. I was like, “So I don’t want slices I want to order a pizza.” Fuckers.

Anyways, we got our pizza and then went off to my office since they wouldn’t let us sit there and eat it. Got here and they were tearing my office apart. I was very annoyed. I hate it when people are in my office when I’m not here. It just really gets to me.

Andrew and I sat in my office eating pizza and talking about the trip. We decided that it would be alright if I fly seperate from them out to Cali. I’d get there earlier then them, but about an hour. But that’s alright. I’ll just wait in the airport.

On the return trip back to Iowa though, I’ll be stuck in the “Bush International” airport in Texas… For about 3 hours or so. And I won’t get back to DSM tell 8pm that night. Sucky for that. And I’ll have to be back at work at 8AM the next day. Very annoying.

I’m still slightly stressed out cause I have a feeling that Andrew’s mom is going to get an UBER expensive hotel… That woman can’t do anything for cheap. Andrew and I looked online yesterday for some cheap hotels and found a few, so hopefully he can talk her into some of those. Nothing that’s more then like $70 a night I think would be reasonable.

After we got that all settled we tried to call my mom, but she was in a meeting. So we just sat around here for a bit longer and then left.

We went to the Commuter lot on campus and I taught Andrew how to drive my car… He was VERY good at it for never having driven a stick shift before. The first time he tried he actually got it moving! But he did kill it some, not near as much as Adam did when Angel and I taught him how to drive it…

Drove around the parking lot for like an hour. Andrew was really getting the hang of it all by the time we left. I was very proud of him. Perhaps I’ll let him drive my car on the street sometime. lol.

Once we were done with that we went to the bank and I deposited a check, and from there we went to the Mall. I picked up an application for the Gap, and we checked out to see what movies are playing. Nothing good was.

Decided that there wasn’t anything else to do and went back to my Apartment.

We spent the rest of the night laying on the couch/bed just talking and cuddling. Just what I really needed.

It was so good to see him again. And I’m so glad that the whole flight thing is all taken care of now. Thought I had a dream the other night that there was weather for my flight, so I was able to talk the woman into getting me on their flight, it made my day in the dream… Now lets just cross our fingers and hope that the same can happen in real life… OR knowing Chicago, there will be weather there, and they can get on my flights! lol.

Once it came time for him to leave it was very hard, as it usually is. I think now it’ll be just getting harder and harder from here on out though. Hopefully the tears won’t start running again tell we’re actually saying good bye in Orange.

I really wish we had more time in California… Mostly because I want to go HERE!

Sicky McSick Pants!

So I’m sure that I’ll start this post and then not get it finished because we are uber busy around here today.

CSGF Conf is going on we’re working on encoding those presentations. WE just got Tuesday and Wed’s in the mail today. Gotta love FedEx Overnight AM. This batch is going MUCH better then the ones from the SCC conference a couple weeks ago. Mostly because none of these have to have audio remixed, so we just encode and go!

I’ve only got 2 more left, so that’s good. One though has the screen saver pop up in the middle of it. So we have to fix that, but it should be an easy fix.

Yesterday was great, though it was sad to see mt Drew Bear sick!

Work from 7:30 to 10:30, and then I left here and got movies at Family Video, only $1.30 for 2 DVD’s and one of them was a new release! I’d like to see someone beat that shit! lol.

Met up with Andrew about noon and we just spent the WHOLE day laying around his house and hanging out. It was very good times. We watched Frita, and that was good. Andrew layed with his head in my lap, and he kept complaining that it looked like I was in a bad posistion, which I wasn’t! So funny, after that I watched Oprah, and then the news… Because Andrew fell asleep in my lap. It was so cute!

Once he woke up we watched Pumpkin, which was another very odd, but good movie! It wasn’t near as funny as the box said that it was!

By the time that movie was over it was like 7:30, so we went upstairs and made some supper. Andrew had pasta and I had a chicken sandwich. Yummy. I’m hungry just thinking about it! lol.

Once we ate we went back downstairs and laid on his bed talking about things. His mom randomly came in and we were both under the covers, but just talking and his door was open… She was talking to us about things and then took his temp. After she was done with that she was getting ready to leave and then she goes, “Could you please set a good example for your sister and not lay in bed together.”

It was just very annoying the way that she said it, etc. And then they got into a bit of a fight about it. It really annoyes me that his mom takes some of the smallest things and just really blows them up and yells about them. Very annoying, and I hate it even more because of the fact that she yells at them infront of guests. You just don’t do that.

Anyways, it came time to leave and it was really hard because I wanted to just stay there and take care of my baby. We went outside and hugged and I gave him his first kiss of the day. I wasn’t kissing him the rest of the day because I didn’t want to take any major chances of getting sick.

Anyways, I drove back to 86th and dropped off the videos at Family Video. Then I got on the interstate to head back to PC, but I decided not to, so I got off the next exit and turned around and headed back to Ames…

I got to the Elkarht exit when my phone rang, I looked at it and it was Andrew, so I answered….

“Did you leave some keys here..”
“SHIT, THOSE ARE MY HOUSE KEYS!!!”

Followed by many more shits, and “I can’t believe how stupid I am!”‘s. I had to drive all the way back to Waukee to get my fucking keys… I will be making copies of those tonight. By the time I got there it was 10:00, but it was good to see Andrew again!

By the time I got home it was 10:45 or so, and I went right to bed. I was so tired.

Today’s been going really really good. I got up early, for some reason I woke up at 6:30. Crazy I know. Got dressed and came to work. I’ve been here all day working on those presentations, now only one is left to do, YAY!

I’ve been wearing a stocking cap all day too, I wore it to work because I didn’t feel like doing my hair today, but now that I’m here, I’m really glad that I wore it. Because it’s fucking FREEZING in my office. And no, I’m not freezing because I’m sick (or at least I don’t think that’s why). I’m freezing because it IS freezing in this office. Everyone’s complaining about it, but we can’t seem to get the A/C to turn off! ::shivers:: I hope it’s fixed by tomorrow or else I’ll have to wear a sweatshirt to work! lol.

Just received a package from Symantec with our AntiVirus software updates, (About $1,500 worth of software)… The CD’s missing. Great, now I have to go through the annoyance of getting Symantec to send out another CD and I have to call DHL to complain. Bastards!

Anyways, I’ve decided there are TWO things I really want to do on the trip to New Jersey/LA. And that’s to see the Sunset on both coasts from the beach. I think it should be doable. But we’ll see.

Edit:// So plans for this weekend are as follows so far… Leave here about 4:15 on Friday and drive to KC, MO. Get to hotel, hang out, perhaps go out if we feel like it. Otherwise stay in. Saturday spend the majority of the day in Lawrence, KS. I’ve found lots of fun things to do there, it appears. And some other cool stuff. Saturday night, I dunno what we’ll do. Haven’t got that far yet. Sunday, we’ll check out and then go do something, I was thinking mini-golf, perhaps? Then drive home. Good times! I’m really excited and keep thinking that we leave today. I really really want to leave NOW!
