Screw you Cancer!

I got home from the beach yesterday at 4.. I laid down on the couch for just a few minutes and woke up again at 8:30… Then of course I couldn’t sleep, hence the upate last night… Now I’m dead tired at work, and it’s only 4:47!

Don’t Wanna Be Back

Ugh, I so don’t wanna be back at work today. I took yesterday off basically. I worked some here and there, but mostly didn’t. I sat on the beach for 2 hours and have a sun burn now. I went to the gym.

I’m such a weakling now. I used to bench 130, now I can only do 70. I also dunnno if my asthma is just getting worse as I get older or if I’m just really out of shape, because after only 10 minutes on the elliptical machine, I was out of breath. It was horrible. I’m really sore today.

Other then that I wasted the day away at home. Watchin Mary Tyler Moore and analizing every little thing that the boy has done, or not done, over the last few days. Outlook is looking grim to me. 🙁 We do have a date set for tomorrow though. Dinner and then the new Pirates movie. I’m going to bring all this up to him then, find out what he’s looking for forsure. It just seems like he’s way too busy to have time for a bf. Perhaps it’s just all previous commitments or something.

So… net neutrality was defeted yesterday in the Senate committee.. It’s good to know that people like Senator Ted Stevens are the people who are voting for these things… Go listen to this MP3. Then PLEASE explain to me why this guy is even ALLOWED to vote on something that he clearly has NO understanding of the impact. And then read this HILARIOUS explanation as to why the internet took 5 days to get to the Senator

Also, Ken Lay died yesterday. It’s sad that he won’t rot in jail.

Phil sent me this link to “Another Gay Movie“. It looks hilarious, I can’t wait for it to come out. Andrew, here’s your mainstream gay movie that’s not sad! haha.

Also, Stranger’s With Candy comes out this month. The boy and I have a date to go see that movie as well. I can’t wait!

The company re-imbursed every penny of my moving expenses, which I am THRILLED about! 🙂 I’m out of debt again!

I posted about this forever ago, but since getting my new Mac I hadn’t installed it yet. I found a link to it on Digg over the weekend and thought it was time to re-install this nice thing.. So I did…. You should go here: Ad Blocking Hosts File. And follow the instructions. It will block those ANNOYING ass Ad’s on most sites, including! The ones on Myspace. 🙂 It’ll work for ANY Operating system, so Windows/Mac/Linux/Unix users should all go do it!

LaCie Drives SUCK!

So, a little under a year ago, I bought 250Gig LaCie Porche HD Drive. The thing has been nothing but trouble. It constantly needs to be re-formatted. It doesn’t show up in the Drive list a lot of the time. It forgets it’s partitions, etc. Finially it totally just crapped out. I called the Support line, they said to mail it in. So I did. A couple days later, I receive a brand new drive in the mail. I plug it in, format it to MacOSX (Journaled) and then backed up my laptop to it. Unplugged it and sat it off to the side for the move. Got up here, plugged it in and nothing….

So I called and they said, mail it in. Again i get a brand new drive… I plug it in. Format it in FAT 32, and put some stuff on it. Unplug it. Set it off to the side for a few days. I set up my new desk yesterday. Plug the drive back in, and all it does is sits there and spins… NOTHING! So I’m going to have to get another new one! Ugh!

This weekend has been stressful and yet relaxing. Friday night I went out with Andrew. We started off on a bad foot with him yelling at me for apparently hanging up on him. And then yelling about my driving. It went down hill from there. We saw a horrible play called “Miss Firecracker Contest” at which he told me I hated everything. The night ended with us yelling at each other and then having a nice chat on the phone.

Saturday I just chilled at the beach and then at this cute street fair they are having here in RB. It was so fun! I just wish someone would have come with me. 🙁 I also saw The Lake House. It made me cry. 🙁 I love chicago

Same thing today, beach street fair.  I have a date with a really hot boy tonight too! I’m very excited about it. He seems really nice so far too. We’ve talked on the phone a bit and stuff. He’s taking me out to Houston’s and then a movie.

Lately I’ve really been wanting to just go home! I miss it so much!

Gpa’s 80th B-day tomorrow!

My parents haven’t heard from my brother since Mothers day. They are both pretty pissed. He didn’t call for Fathers day or my Mom’s B-day. My theory is that he’s dead. lol.

OH! Saturday I pretended to be straight and installed a CFGI outlet in my apartment! I now have a 3 prong plug, so I don’t have to use those stupid converters anymore!

Music vs Conf Calls

Day #3 at the new place.. Things have been going well. I’m really enjoying my new place.

Yesterday after work I went home and went for a bike ride along the beach. So many hot boys! 🙂 Yum yum. I’m really going to have to hit the gym more to be able to keep up with these hotties! 😀

After that I went and sat on the beach for an hour and read. I wanted to stay longer, but I had way too much work to do.

Like I said, everyone in my complex is so friendly, like when you see people out and about they all say HI, the guy upstairs came over last night and we talked and he gave me some tips of how to get to the office. I’m really liking the area.

Speaking of, work is ok. But annoying. The people at the new office are SO bitchy! Yesterday morning I got here at 5:30, and had my music going. It wasn’t very loud at all, but all of a sudden someone walks past my door and says, “Chris you _have_ to turn that off, it’s driving me crazy.”.. And before I could even LOOK up to see who it was, they were gone… Excuse me bitch! First off, I didn’t fucking know anyone else was HERE at 5:30, when I came in ALL the lights were off. Second, couldn’t you have stopped in and said, “Hey chris, I can hear that in my office, would you mind turning it down?”… To which I would have said, “Yeah, no problem.. I’m sorry, I didn’t know anyone else was here.”

Ugh! But then these damn people use the fucking speaker phone for EVERYTHING. Checking VM, making personal calls. And they NEVER shut the doors. So all day long it’s just this LOUD annoying roar of people on the fucking phone. Excuse me, but how is that LESS annoying then my music. It’s not like I’m playing fucking hard core music. It’s STAR/JACK FM type music! Ugh. I also really hate this whole having to wear Business Casual/Pro. Ugh.

Yesterday, I also had to share the office with the VPs and CEO. That was annoying as well. But they are cool guys, so it wasn’t too bad. I got a lot done. But it’s just annoying cause they were constantly wanting updates on what I was doing. Granted we are coming up on a deadline for it, but seriously. Give me some time people! I’m not a machine!

Also the new desk/chair are both very uncomfortable!

Thinking about having a party saturday night. So far 3 people have said they would come. I’m not sure if that’s enough to warrent making them drive up here.
