I’m slowly making it into the new year… Things are moving along. Work yesterday, Bike ride and shopping with Jason. Good times.

As per usual, I feel really down and sad. Etc.

Put an offer in on a house yesterday. That was the high point of the day, I’d have to say.

What about all these things when your buddies were in power. You’re just NOW figuring this out? After HOW MANY YEARS in office. Can’t someone just hang him already!? And then leak the video to Youtube?

Sleepy Weekend

Well, it’s been another boring yet long weekend. Friday, I can’t really remember what I did. I know I had lunch with this guy Geoff, and he was cool. Also did more Loan things, Country Wide finially got back to me, with an 8.5% interest rate! Bastards. So I think I’ll go with the first guy who called me with 6.5%. But we shall see. I’m just so scared of getting ripped off. Geoff gave me the name of this guy, so I’m going to call him too.

Saturday I got up and did a ton of stuff. I had a lunch meeting at this place called Clementine (VERY good food) and have some more contract work to do. So that’s exciting, after that I came home and did a bunch of other stuff. Ended up going out with Chiba that night. We went and saw Blood Diamond. After that we went out to dinner for him and just hung out and talked. I got home about 4am and went to bed.

Sunday morning I woke up about 10am and was going to go on a bike ride, but it was FREEZING. So I laid down on the couch for a little bit and was going to go biking at 1 when it was warmer… I didn’t wake up again till 3:30pm. 🙁 Opps. So Sunday was pretty much completly wasted. Got up and made dinner. Chiba called in there and said he was going to go to Weho to meet some friends and asked if I wanted to meet him there. So I went off to Weho and we hung out again. Apparently Daniel (germany boy) moved out. lol. So that’s good news. 🙂 Chiba and I went out to dinner and talked for a while, so that was nice. I left after that and he and his friends went to The Abbey.

I can’t believe we are only 7 days from Christmas! I’m so excited. I leave Wed night and I have to pack and everything yet. I haven’t done anything yet! I think the plan is that on Wed after work I am going to go and drop my car off in Pomona @ David’s and he is going to fix it while I am gone. Chiba is going to drive me to the airport. Then on Wed when I get back Chiba will pick me up and we will go pick up my car. Hopefully this will all work out!

Have I mentioned how fucking cold it is here?!

Chiba’s Date

So the last two days have been pretty damn good. I honestly am having troubles remembering it all cause there was so much to write about!

So lets see. Tuesday I got home from my bike ride and was online talking to Chiba. He suggested I come and stay the night and then hang out all day Wed. I have two sick days that I need to use up or lose, so I decided to go for it. He was heading out to dinner with his friends and said to meet him there at 9:30.

I leave my place at 8:50, and txt message him that I’m on my way… Get to his place at 9:32 and call him. He’s STILL at the resturant. “Just leaving”. I said I’ll wait. I wait 30 minutes, still not there. I txt him that I’m leaving in 5 minutes if I don’t hear from him. He calls and says that he’s sorry he got tied up talking to this teacher person he was at dinner with and that he’s on his way. He didn’t get there till 10:30 and I was pretty damn pissed.

So we headed out to Falcon’s Lair in LA. Talk about Hollywood, this place was the epitome of Hollywood. Perfect boys, perfect hair, perfect everything. I felt so out of place. Thankfully I had borrowed a jacket from Chiba, so I looked semi-cute. Throughout the night people kept pointing at me and talking though. Very strange.

We met and chatted with a few people there and that was cool. We also saw Allison Janney there and sat on the couch across from her for a while. I was very excited. We left there at nearly 2 and went to Ralphs and went grocery shopping. That was cute.

Drove back to his house and we were up till 5am talking and making out. I also introduced him to EggNog. He liked it!

Wed we got up about 11ish and hung around his house, ate lunch, talked some more, etc. Headed out to PCC so that he could register for classes and that was an absolute mess. AND I got a freaking parking ticket! UGH! $25 that I really don’t have right now.

Anyways, I got a little annoyed that we wasted the whole day doing that, but it’s understandable that he needed to get it done. Shiela and Beak called in there too and it was very confusing because everyone kept going on and on in the background and I was trying to drive and get directions all at the same time.

So we got done with that and then headed out on the date that I had planned. Got up to Griffith just in time for the last bus, so that was good. Thank god we were on time for something!

Griffith Observatory was GREAT! As always you can see the pictures on the photodump. We just walked around and saw all the exhibits and did the planatarium show and all that. The sunset over LA was amazing. The Smog was great too! 🙂

From there we headed out to Zencu Sushi in Little Tokyo. It was a nice area and the food was great. So that’s good.

Drove back to his house and dropped him off. He seemed to really enjoy the night. So that’s what I was really looking for!

This Germany guy comes today though. Which I’m really annoyed about. I guess they are going to be going places. He says so far they have only planned Santa Barbara, and that this guy has already said that they are going to be hanging out every minute that Chiba is not working! Very annoying. We shall see if I get to see him over the next 3 weeks then.

On the way home I took the 710S. I get to the 105, which is one of the exits I can take, it’s closed. No big deal. I usually take the 91 to the 110 as it gets me closer to my house. So I keep going, the 91 is closed!!! What! And with NO warning. You get up to the exit and it’s just closed off! So I think, not a problem, the 405 is just 2 more miles, I can go 405N to the 110S and it’s only about 6 miles out of the way… So I keep going, 405….. CLOSED!

WHO fucking closes EVERY MAJOR freeway interchange off of another freeway!? WHO!? So I ended up having to go ALL THE WAY to Long Beach, about 30 minutes out of the way and then back trace up PCH.. So fucking annoying, and there was NO WARNING. If there had been a warning I could have taken Rosecrans or one of the other small streets off the 710 over to the 405. UGH!

I got home about 10:30 and just crashed. Got up this morning, got into work and was reading through my e-mail for the last two days…. I have an e-mail from my landlord again.. “Have not received the rent per out last conversation due on the first.”

EXCUSE ME!? You GOT IT 2 WEEKS EARLY, on FUCKING NOVEMBER 20th! WHAT THE FUCKING HELL YOU STUPID SON OF A BITCH! So I e-mail him back the jpg copies of the cashed check that my bank puts online. We’ll see what this mother fucker has to say about that. DUMB FUCKING SHIT HEAD. WHat the fuck is wrong with him. And in our previous conversations, he NEVER said ANYTHING about not recieving any rent. Just that he got it on NOVEMBER 20th! DUMB MOTHER FUCKER.

I feel like I’m forgetting something. Oh well. Adios!

Compensation…

Ok, another really long and busy weekend!

Lets see…. Friday I went out to dinner with Hector and like 8 of his girls. Very awk at times, but it was fun. It snowed at The Grove which was cute! I loved it. He was very nice, but honestly I hated the girls we were with. I also felt a bit left out at times cause they kept talking about school work and all this stuff that was just so 2 years ago for me! haha. Hopefully he and I can hang out again soon though. Chiba was mad at me for going out though. 🙁

Guerrilla Gay Bar was TONS of fun that night though, the place was SO PACKED that you couldn’t move at all. But it was still great. The crowd was Sooooo different then the typical WeHo group, so that was really nice. Just wish I had talked to more of the people there.

Left about midnight because I was tired, from being up since 3:30am, and plus it was just getting tooo crowded in there. Called Chiba and we talked for a bit. Got home and just crashed.

Got up at 6am Saturday and did a couple hours of work. Went off and did laundry. I always stop at Albertson’s on my way to buy some quarters, the same one that I buy ALL my groceries from. I always get two rolls, never had ANY problem before geting these. I buy a bagel, a thing of milk and get $20 in quarters. This time, i’m told they can only give me ONE roll, it’s always been this way. They never give out more then one roll. Very annoying. So I go across the street to Wells Fargo and since I’m not a fucking customer there they CHARGE me $2 to buy a fucking roll of quarters! EXCUSE ME!? WTF! Fuckers. Yet another reason why I hate banks! Sadly today I have to go to one to talk about a home loan!

So anyways, I go and do my laundry, come home and put the laundry down and then get side tracked with about 10 other projects. First I finished the clock, then I cleaned out my closets and then I cleaned my apartment and did some other stuff and then finially got around to putting the laundry away. Did I mention that I SMASHED my finger in there too?? Ouch!

By the time I was done with all this it was late, so I loaded my bike in the car and went to bed.

Sunday I got up, and went biking. Long ass ride, froze my ass off. But it was good to get back out there, we went up and over Sepulveda into the valley again. Went to the gym after and showered and then headed over to Chiba’s for lunch. I got there and he tells me that he’s already had lunch, but he told me he hadn’t so that I would come. lol. What a strange one. So we went out to lunch and then went and got him ice cream. I stayed for awhile and we talked.. Apparently this guy he dated back in the summer is coming to visit him (from Germany) for a couple weeks over christmas/new years… And he wanted to see how I felt about it… Honstly. I’m a bit annoyed, but on the account that this has been in plans since long before I met him, and the fact that we’re not exclusively seeing each other I suppose it’s fine. But since he will be AT his apartment the whole time, that A) means they will probably be fucking, B) means that I won’t have any time to see him. Just a bit annoying. Not that he and I are fucking currently anyways. Ok. I’m clearly not getting my point across.

Do you all remember the post a while back where I put the picture of the car that was totally smashed when it was parked on Pacific Cost Highway… Anyways. While I was driving to the bike ride I saw one MUCH worse… Someone had rear ended an SUV that was parked along Hawthorne, pushed that car into the car infront of it, and then pshed that car into the car infront of IT and pushed that one into the one infront of IT! So there were a total of 5 cars in the accident, only one of them had a driver! The first SUV was basicallyl FLAT. Whoever did that had to have been FLYING down hawthorne blvd.

As many of you know, I’ve been taking on any extra jobs I can get… So I’ve been looking on Craigslist mostly. It amazes me what these people are offering to pay for things. Some of it very complicated stuff that they are like. “$10/hr” or something as equally horrible! I really just want to reply to all these idiots and tell them they aren’t going to get someone _good_ to do it for that cheap!

Anyways. I’m off now to call some realtors and the like.

More on Dr Laura

So I was listening to Dr Laura again the other day… And this guy calls in, he and his mother haven’t talked in years, some big fight about the woman he married or something, blah blah blah.

His mother is dying. He’s calling Dr Laura to ask what he should do. HELLO! What is wrong with you. Get your ass to the fucking hospital and say goodbye to your mother. It doesn’t matter what she did to you in the past. She’s still your god damn mother. The woman who RAISED you and brought you into this world. What is wrong with these people? Seriously!

She now also has a Dr. Laura Action Figure! I know what Kiera’s getting for christmas now! haha.

Then I was watching Trading Spouses on Monday night and they had these two families on. The one was the normal, “my kids are out of control” and the other was the “I lock my kids up at night” type. Every week when I catch parts of this show before heading to bed, I can’t believe that people actually think these are the correct ways to be raising and caring for your children! You do not take your kids BED away from them for messing up. You do not auction off thier toys to the other kids in the house, you don’t let them just run wild in stores, and you don’t let them backtalk to you and walk all over you.

Grow some balls people and parent! Maybe it’s a good idea to make all new parents take parenting classes!

So the project I’ve been working on since Friday. I handed over Round 1 Mockups to the CEO early yesterday afternoon. His reply…. “Awesome, awesome, awesome!!!”. God I love that feeling! Then he had 6 very minor (as in it’ll take 5 minutes to do them all) changes. So round 1 goes back to the Business Logic people Wed-AM (a full WEEK early!). Hopefully we can be working on round three by the deadline for round 1 comes along.

I’m eating out way too much and not working out enough! Yesterday I went out on a bike ride and the tire blew out like a mile away from my house. I had JUST used up the last of my CO2, so I didn’t have anything to refil the new tube with. So no bike ride. 🙁 Today I’ve got a meeting with the EE, and then dinner with Bryan. So probably no time to work out tonight. Then tomorrow I am working in Newport, lunch with Robert and dinner with Austin. Friday or Saturday I’m hanging out with Chiba again, so we’ll probably go out to dinner or something. And Sunday is biking day, and best of all about that is I FINALLY have a new Jersey, so I don’t be wearing the same one that I have been for months! lol.

I was introduced to this really cool Guerrilla Gay Bar Los Angeles. It’s like a Gay FlashMob. Sounds like fun. I think I may try it out this Friday as well.
