2 Days Back

Well here we are, second day back in the states. Things are going pretty good so far. I was fairly busy yesterday at work and also throughout the rest of the night.

I did my mid-term, but have yet to actually work on my MGMT 478 project, which I need to do at some point. Opps.

Not much to really report about, though I am waiting for a call back from a guy who wants to talk to me about a posistion, so that’s good. I’m excited about that. Hopefully I hear back from him today, because he never called me back yesterday after I had called and left him a message.

Tonight I’m hanging out with some guy, that should be a bit scary. But who knows. lol.

Anyways, I found this today…Tandy Deskmate. That’s the OS of the FIRST computer I used! How cool is that?

Back In Iowa

Well here I am back in Iowa. And boy am I glad to be home and talking to my Drew Bear again.

Today has been really long. We got up about 3:45am and were out of the hotel by 4:30. In the airport by 5:00 and on the plane at 7:30. Before we were even wheels up, I was sound alseep, and slept tell the initial decent into Houston, at which point I just fucking wanted to be on the ground to talk to Drew bear. I couldn’t wait any longer!!!

I got on the ground in Houston, called him and left a message. Then started listening to all his messages. I also have a call back for a job to do on Monday.

We talked for about 2 hours in the airport, and then talked for another 2 hours tonight. We just got off the phone. I’m supposed to be unpacking right now, but I wanted to update here.

I find it funny that they had 16 inches of snow here.

Last Night

Wow, so last night was TONS of fun. We went to Mambo Cafe with like 20 people and 4 hot boys who we met the night before. I was all alone again. 🙁 But I still had a really great time and really enjoyed the music/dancing there. Also the boys. 😀

I left about 1:30ish I think with a few other people. Came home and went right to bed.

Today has been tons of fun. A whole day at the beach. Went swimming, got sun burned. Had fun. It was super windy though, so that was a bit annoying, and I didn’t have my sun glasses so I couldn’t see anything.

While waiting for lunch though I saw this boy walk by who was really cute and also had on this SUPER cute necklace. I wanted to know where he had got it from, so I watched him and saw him go sit on a bench by himself. After a couple minutes of debating if I wanted to go talk to him or not, I decided to go for it, cause I’d never see him again in my life anyways.

So I went over there. “Excuse me, do you speak English”….”Yeah, what do you want.”…”I was just wondering where you got your necklace, I saw you walk by a couple minutes ago.”…” I got it here, in downtown.”….”OH, what part of downtown how far away.”….::being a bitch::…”Downtown Merida”

Then I got up and left, he was being a total jackass. Jerk. But I think he was french, cause he had an accent. I just found out that there’s about 30 frenchies staying here now too. Knowing my luck he’s one of them.

After that we all came back here, and had a bit of a mishap with the key, then I went to the mall with some girls. That was fun, and they have so many CUTE ass stores here which I wish were in the states. And I wanted to buy so much, but I didn’t.

Got back, ate a bit at supper. And now I’m here waiting tell 9 to go to the bars.

On the way back from the mall Sulee (sp?) and I had a bit of a talk about Omar’s sexuality, we both question it, and I guess she’s seen him around campus with some very gayish looking guys. So who knows!

We have to be up about 3:30 tomorrow to get ready to leave. It’s going to be hellish!

I’ve already stated how I’m excited yet not, so I won’t bore you with that again.

Non-writy

I’m really not in a writing mood right now, but we’re being forced to. Grrr.

There’s some hotties from Arizona state here. Rarrr.

Umm, last night was tons of fun. We went to this concert thing, and then talked to these two really hot boys. Well the girls talked to them, I just stood there. Then we all went to this bar thing and had a really good time. I didn’t drink, but they put on sombreros. It was all crazy. We got lots of crazy ass pics.

Today has been really long, but not much to do. We first went to the this plant place. The house was so pretty and I really want to buy it and fix it up. It’d be such a cool place to live. Though I couldn’t believe how old some of the stuff there was. It was really cool.

After that we came back to the city and went to this museum, it was really cool and Andrew would have liked it.

Came back, went swimming. Which I’m really going to miss just sitting around the pool in the evenings listening to the sounds of the cities. I’m really getting into the whole routine of things and taking a nap after lunch and everything. I’ll have to change things to this way once I get back!

Umm, tonight we’re going to a cafe thing, it should be good. I also bought Andrew a magazine I think he’ll enjoy it.

I’m excited to go home, and yet not really excited to go home at the same time. I’d want to stay much longer if I had some sort of contact with Drew Bear.

Well, like I said, non-writy mood.

Mexico!

Hey everone. Here I am in Mexico. We’re all having a GREAT time. Though I can’t wait to get back to Iowa and to be able to talk to my Drew Bear.

You all are going to have so much to read once you get back. I’ve been doing updates daily!

This place is so pretty and so exciting. Tonight we’re going to go out to a show in the square.

I’m pretty burnt and have peeled a couple times already, but it’s starting to fade into a nice dark tan. 🙂

Well I have to go everyone. I hope all you Iowans are enjoying the SNOW! I laugh in your faces, because it’s been 95+ all week, and so clear and beautiful!
