SD Pride!

Woot! So after 2 years of living in Cali, I’ve FINIALLY made it to San Diego Pride! So, lets go back…

Friday after work, I met up with Jason and we headed down to the beach for a few hours. Hung out there and chatted and ate grapes and cherries and such. Had a good time, after that we went out on a bike ride. We weren’t planning on going too far, but ended up doing 30 miles again. So that felt good. Our goal is to get to Santa Monica and back soon… That’ll be 50 miles.

Got back to his place about 7:30 and we had a martini. When your blood is going hard core like that, you get drunk REALLY fast! So mental note people! From there we both showered (seperatly) and then went out to dinner. We went our seperate ways after that cause he was going out with people and I headed down to Orange!

Got there and walked in and pretty much went straight to sleep, cause I was a bit drunkish and VERY tired! Got up at 8am Saturday morning and Andrew and I headed down to San Diego. Robert cancelled on us at the last minute Friday. Which kinda pissed me off, but whatever.

Got down there at just the right time, as they were closing off the streets, found parking and went to RBB’s place, met her and then went and watched the parade! Sooo many hot boys! It made me feel so ugly, but lately I’ve been feeling kinda sexy too…

Anyways, we stared at the hot boys and such and watched the parade. It lasted FOREVER! But we stayed to the end! After that we walked down to the festival thing which was kinda stupid. Not worth the $12. I mean, perhaps if you went to the beer gardens or something.

From there we headed to H Mary’s for dinner. Had a great time there, and then headed out to the bars. Started off at Flicks, which was nice. There was a group of hot boys, the lesbian with them talked to us, but we couldn’t get the hot boys to talk to us. Sad. 🙁 The lesbian told me I was really hot. Some old man talked to me, he’s apparently from WeHo, he was nice.

After that we went to this house party. There were so homo’s there, but not any I’d make out with. Some really hot straight boys, but sadly they didn’t want to make out! haha. Of course Andrew made out with someone.

Got home about 2ish and we all crashed. Got up Sunday morning and Andrew and I went to some Art museum in San Diego. It was ok.

My camera broke too. :'( Well, just the LCD screen, which is a $60 replacement part. And apparently I can replace it myself. So that’ good. But means that I’ll have to deal with no LCD screen while in Iowa. 🙁

Overall the weekend was GREAT, no drama, no fighting, just fun times! 🙂

I have to work at 3:30 again tomorrow morning. 🙁

So far my week is pretty busy though. I’m hoping to fit in at least 20 miles the next three days, I’ve got a dinner date tonight, a lunch date tomorrow and then Wed I’m packing and have to have Carlito over to show him where all the stuff is at for the kitties while I’m gone. Thursday I leave right after work! 🙂

I’m tentitivly scheduled to go to Las Vegas in early Sept! I’m excited for that. 🙂 Speaking of Vegas and thus, gambling.. I also invested nearly $10k this weekend into three very high risk mutual funds…. They are 100% managed by computer forcasts. Seems like a fun thing to do, hopefully they will continue on the past 3-years, and manage to pull off the mid-20% return they’ve been getting! I’m really nervous about them though.

It’s so fucking HOT!!!

OMG, it’s fucking HOT here… It hit 128 in some places in the LA valley, shattered a record and hit 88 in my area.

And I have no A/C! 🙁 It’s HORRIBLE when you’re laying in bed naked and sweating to death!

This has been a busy weekend for me. Lets, see….

Friday was work, did lots of random stuff and got some pretty cool shit done. Went out to lunch with Robert after and then went and bought tickets. Went home after that, did the beach, and then went out to see pirates. Came home and went to bed!

Saturday I got up fairly early and went on my bike ride and then laid out at the beach and did some other random stuff. I started my clock! It’s coming a long nicely.

Andrew got here about 5ish and we went and bought food for the morning, then went out to dinner with Jason. Had a good time there, came home and then we did the name tag things.

Sunday we spent the day wondering around LA. Did Venice, Santa Monica, Malibu, and then over to the Hollywood sign and such. There were like 8 million people standing around cause apparently Tom Hanks was there or something?

This week is pretty busy for me already, and sadly I have things that I want to pack in still. 🙁 We’ll see what comes of those.

Keeping Busy

Well, I’ve been trying to keep myself overly busy this weekend. Friday I got home from work late, met up with this guy who’s going to buy my old laptop. Hopefully. He’s going to let me know by Monday. After that I was supposed to go to a movie with Carlito, but his sisters or something were to tired, so we cancelled that. I ended up just hanging out here for the night and doing random stuff.

Saturday I got up a little late and went up to The Arboretum of LA County. Walked around there for a few hours. It was pretty, but I think it could have been a little better. I’m sure it’s really nice in the spring. It was fucking hot though.

Got home from that and showered and then went up to Santa Monica and hung out with this guy Chris… It was really wierd, cause we were riding the elevator down… And he magically somehow got a job contact out of that.. It was so random! Anyways, we walked around 3rd Street. I was affraid we’d run into Jay there. Thankfully we didn’t. And when we walked by the bar that he likes going to, I didn’t look. lol. Chris bought like a million dollars worth of stuff at this random natural soap place called Lush. I think I found mom’s christmas present there.

We walked around for a bit more and went shopping in some other stores. After that we went back to his area and we were going to go see Pirates again. I was supposed to go with Carlito again, but they went at 7, and it was 6:30 when I found that out. Not enough time to get back to Redondo from Santa Monica. So Chris and I went to his area, but we just missed the 7pm showing there and then next one was sold out. So we broke and I came home. Hung out here for the night.

Was planning on getting up early, but I overslept, so my plans got cancelled. I was going to go up to Azusa to do a bike ride, maybe next weekend! So instead I’ve spent the morning at the beach hanging out. Now I’m going to go hit the shower and then I’m off to 3rd Street in Santa Monica AGAIN! This time to meet up with this guy Tommy.

Everyone I know is buying new cars.. I really want to go get one! I was told the other day that I’d be happier if I spent more money… It’s probably true. But I feel that I have to save for my life… I don’t want t be old and broke!

Great Date!

Soooo. The date last night = AMAZING! 😀

He was so adorable and so nice and we had a great time. I really didn’t want to leave when it was time to go, cause I just wanted to keep talking to him! Like I said yesterday, we went to Houston’s in Santa Monica. Got there and hung out at the bar for a little bit. I had a Jack and Coke and he had Vodka Tonic… He said Jack and Coke was a straight drink.. haha.

Had another during dinner. The convo was really great, at least I thought so! We talked about all kinds of random stuff.

After dinner we walked down to the theater and bought tickets to Nacho Libre. The show didn’t start for another 30 minutes, so we went to this bar across the street. It was a really cute place. I had to go to the bathroom, so I went and came back and he had bought me another drink.

We had talked earlier about the Jack and Coke thing and I had mentioned that I drink 151 and Coke sometimes too, since he thought that Jack was a hard drink. lol. So that’s the drink he got me.. at 151. Needless to say, I was pretty drunk for the movie. But whatever. It was good.

The movie was very stupid but also very funny. It was also so cute, because we got there and he put the arm rest up between the two of us and he was leaning into me the whole time (He claims it was because of the fat man next to him, but I think otherwise. haha) and he held my hand! ::swoons:: I also grabbed his fore-arm at one point, and held onto it.. OMG, so muscular. Yummy! 😀 Must be from all that rowing he does!

We also talked about his last bf for a while, and it sounds like he was in a bad relationship. I guess they went up to SB for a weekend and his boy totally missed his competition. I would have been so pissed if that had happened to me!

After the movie we walked back to the parking structure and up to the thrid floor where he was parked. We said goodbye and I gave him a hug. He kissed me on the cheek, so I gave him a soft peck on the lips… It was so…. nice. 🙂 I was honestly very surprised that he would show that much PDA.

We parted ways after that and he told me to call him when I got home.  So I did and we made plans for a date on Wed! He’s coming down to RB for the evening. 🙂 Sadly after that I then won’t get to see him till the next Wed since I’ll be out of town. Then he’s going out of town the next weekend!

Anyways… As you can probably tell, I had a really great time! AND HOPEFULLY something will come of this one!

The Black Rider..

So lets see…. What’s happened since I last updated?

Well not much! I went up to sign the lease with the guy… I’ve decided he’s CRAZY! We talked for like an hour, he was telling me about the “dating” scene in LA, how you should never take a woman to dinner on the first date, etc. He was so random! But he can get me into the Magic Castle anytime I want. 🙂 So that’s fun! But yeah, I’m excited!

So I’m having a moving party on June 11th, everyone should come help me move! 🙂 Let me know if you wanna help!

I got my MacBook Pro yesterday too. I was a bit annoyed with the config they got me though. 80Gig HD, and (2) 512 Chips. I was hoping for at least the 100Gig, sinnce that’s what I have now, and it’s nearly full. And I was hoping for the (1) 1Gig RAM chip, so that way I could take out one of my 512 chips from my current laptop and have 1.5gigs ram… Cause I really need it most of the time. But I can’t complain.

I think what I’m going to do this weekend is copy all my stuff over to the 80 gig drive, then take it out and put in my 100Gig. Then put the 80 Gig in my old laptop. I just hope it works, cause I think the 80Gig drive is a SATA. I suppose I should check that out. Blast that’ll be annoying if it doesn’t work!

After that I think I’m going to sell my current laptop… No point in keeping two Powerbook laptops around… $1,000 anyone???

Tuesday, I didn’t really do much. Worked late into the night, went on a bike ride with Jon… this time I got a flat tire!! How annoying. Apparently the powers that be, don’t want us to ride together. Today I’m going to go get a new tire and try again with him.

Yesterday, I worked and then went up to LA to see a play with Dustin. I knew he was going to be there way early because he had this interview, so I figured I’d go up and hang out with him early so that way he wasn’t bored in walking around downtown by himself.. It’d also give me a chance to talk to him about the situation… Anyways, I was planning on leaving at 5, get there by 6:30… 7 at the latest… With traffic and all that.

But then I got bored at work and left at 4, amazingly there was like NO traffic, so I was there at 5:15… I called him, no answer. I figure maybe he’s still in his interview or something, no big deal. So I sit down and read my book for an hour and then call him again…. No Answer. So now I start to get annoyed. I mean he KNEW I was coming up at some point. What if I was horribly lost or something.

So I keep reading my book… And I finially see him standing over by a coffee cart at like a little before 7… I was right in the middle of a chapter, so I finished that up and took my book back to my car and then went around to meet him. By this point, I was REALLY pissed, both at his failure to answer his phone, lots of other random things throughout the day, and also saddened by seeing him for the first time since the message…. So I walk up to him and am pretty bitchy. He says he forgot his phone at the office….

Now, I know I really have no right to be mad at him for not answering his phone, I mean he had no idea I was coming up so early, but when I make the effort to come up and be nice to hang out with him some before hand, it just really frustrates me when things don’t go as planned…

Well, ok.. It pisses me the hell off when things don’t go as I have planned… I’m bitchy like that, what can I say.

Anyways, so we go into the play. The Black Rider . It was REALLY good. The lighting, stage direction, and set were AMAZING. The acting and singing were great, and the story… Although hard to follow at times, was very good. I highly suggest eveyone go see it… Tickets were only $20!

During intermission, Dustin smoked… I walked out on him for that. (Well walked away from him back into the theater). I can’t believe he does that. :'(

After the play I drove back to his place and we had a good chat before going to bed… I kept wanting to bring up the message, but was always just too scared to get into it. Ugh. He leaves Friday to go back home for a while…

Today I’m working in Santa Monica, oh the joys. I’ve had like 3 hours of sleep. ::yawn:: Tonight I have to be back by 4 because people are coming over to buy my desk! Yay for $50! 🙂

I added up the moving costs yesterday as well… So far it’s cost me a grand total of $1600 to fucking move 40 miles! And my cell phone bill is going to be well over $100 this month… When I usually pay only $45.
