I’m Out

Well ya’ll, last day in Cali for a while. I head home today at noon! I’m so excited. I don’t think any work will be getting done today.

My defect list for 1.0 has been fairly impressive and yet easy to manage. Most of them have been cosmetic changes. (Fuck you IE). Other issues have been that PHP was running out of memory. html2pdf uses a lot! Today is the roll out for defect fixes and we go live on Monday. Thank god I’m not here. 🙂

Speaking of, I’m not even taking my laptop with me to Iowa. I’m going to _attempt_ to stay away from the computer for the whole week. No e-mail, no myspace, no nothing. Good luck to me!

Yesterday I was driving home and heard a song that I’ve been enjoying for a while. They finially said who it was… “Panic! At the Disco, fresh out of high school”.. That’s what they said. I was like, “How could that voice be coming from a HS boy!” So I went and looked them up.. They are YOUNG looking. Then I downloaded the album. I love you iTunes. 🙂

I finially sold my old laptop as well! $900. 🙂 Some idiot actually had the nerve to offer me $500. Fucker. Anyways, it was these two asian guys… There’s a scratch on the lid of it.. They kept saying, “Female not like, they like pretty”. I’m serious, direct quote!

So after that I took out what I needed to pay for my plane tickets, new laptop hard drive, and the LCD screen for my camera. Which left me with $300… I went to the mall. It’s gone now. 🙁

I got a 2 pairs of shoes and 2 pairs of pants. The fun news is that I fit into a 30×32! I’m amazed! The 30 was a bit tight through the thighs though, so I ended up getting a 31×32. I have to have the other pair hemmed though, cause they are 32×34.

After that I packed shit up and then spent the rest of the night hanging around my house.

[private] jason’s been kinda pissing me off lately. We were supposed to go out and bike every night this week. Well, I haven’t been biking yet this week, but he’s some how been every night? Monday he claimed his friend stopped by, so he had to hang out with him. But then they went biking together? Would it have been so hard to call me and ask if I wanted to go with? Then tuesday he says his friend just randomly stopped by again… but then they went off and hiked up in the hills by us… Again, that would have been fun for me!! then yesterday his friend.. yet again, had to drop his car off somewhere, so they were just going to hang out. Ugh. What annoys me most is that he always says he’ll txt me when he’ss on his way home to let me know…. but i never get a txt. Very annoying.

then the other day i left a comment no his site about this summer fest he went too.. I said, “that looks like a lot of fun” or something like that…. he deleted the fucking comment. WHY?! Ugh, just annoying as hell. [/private]

SD Pride!

Woot! So after 2 years of living in Cali, I’ve FINIALLY made it to San Diego Pride! So, lets go back…

Friday after work, I met up with Jason and we headed down to the beach for a few hours. Hung out there and chatted and ate grapes and cherries and such. Had a good time, after that we went out on a bike ride. We weren’t planning on going too far, but ended up doing 30 miles again. So that felt good. Our goal is to get to Santa Monica and back soon… That’ll be 50 miles.

Got back to his place about 7:30 and we had a martini. When your blood is going hard core like that, you get drunk REALLY fast! So mental note people! From there we both showered (seperatly) and then went out to dinner. We went our seperate ways after that cause he was going out with people and I headed down to Orange!

Got there and walked in and pretty much went straight to sleep, cause I was a bit drunkish and VERY tired! Got up at 8am Saturday morning and Andrew and I headed down to San Diego. Robert cancelled on us at the last minute Friday. Which kinda pissed me off, but whatever.

Got down there at just the right time, as they were closing off the streets, found parking and went to RBB’s place, met her and then went and watched the parade! Sooo many hot boys! It made me feel so ugly, but lately I’ve been feeling kinda sexy too…

Anyways, we stared at the hot boys and such and watched the parade. It lasted FOREVER! But we stayed to the end! After that we walked down to the festival thing which was kinda stupid. Not worth the $12. I mean, perhaps if you went to the beer gardens or something.

From there we headed to H Mary’s for dinner. Had a great time there, and then headed out to the bars. Started off at Flicks, which was nice. There was a group of hot boys, the lesbian with them talked to us, but we couldn’t get the hot boys to talk to us. Sad. 🙁 The lesbian told me I was really hot. Some old man talked to me, he’s apparently from WeHo, he was nice.

After that we went to this house party. There were so homo’s there, but not any I’d make out with. Some really hot straight boys, but sadly they didn’t want to make out! haha. Of course Andrew made out with someone.

Got home about 2ish and we all crashed. Got up Sunday morning and Andrew and I went to some Art museum in San Diego. It was ok.

My camera broke too. :'( Well, just the LCD screen, which is a $60 replacement part. And apparently I can replace it myself. So that’ good. But means that I’ll have to deal with no LCD screen while in Iowa. 🙁

Overall the weekend was GREAT, no drama, no fighting, just fun times! 🙂

I have to work at 3:30 again tomorrow morning. 🙁

So far my week is pretty busy though. I’m hoping to fit in at least 20 miles the next three days, I’ve got a dinner date tonight, a lunch date tomorrow and then Wed I’m packing and have to have Carlito over to show him where all the stuff is at for the kitties while I’m gone. Thursday I leave right after work! 🙂

I’m tentitivly scheduled to go to Las Vegas in early Sept! I’m excited for that. 🙂 Speaking of Vegas and thus, gambling.. I also invested nearly $10k this weekend into three very high risk mutual funds…. They are 100% managed by computer forcasts. Seems like a fun thing to do, hopefully they will continue on the past 3-years, and manage to pull off the mid-20% return they’ve been getting! I’m really nervous about them though.

Stable 1.0!

Yay, today I’m releasing the first stable version of the software I’ve been writing! 🙂

I’m very excited about this… It only took 19,582 lines of code! YAY!

Last night I was up late working on a new component to it. This new thing won’t be ready till next week, but instead of e-mailing attachements in HTML with Base64 encoded images (which apparently aren’t supported by IE, screw you!) I’m using PDF’s now instead. So yesterday I spent the day finding something that can correctly read the style sheets, etc. Then I spent all last night getting the one that worked the best to work correctly! And it finially does! 🙂

BTW, I’m using html2pdf.

[private] Yesterday, I was debating about deleting certian people from my friends list on myspace.. IE, Dustin and Joel. So I went and read Dustin’s profile, and found a rather odd comment about me on his page by his neighbor, the oddest part was that it was from only a few days ago. I Think to myself.. WHY on EARTH is this bitch talking about me? So I go read her page… Dustin had written: I thought you might want this. I think you might want to apply, lol. You know, Chris is lonely and needs a boyfriend for the weeK! You might just need a strap-on 🙂 And then had posted my blog entry about the BF application. So then I start thinking… Who else has he said such things to? So I go through his top 16 or whatever, to find that he had posted the EXACT same thing on a few other people’s myspace pages.

How childish, first. Secondly, WTF? Why is this dumb fuck still talking about me to people when I haven’t even spoken to him in a MONTH! So now it makes me pissed to think what other TRASH those three are telling people around the LA/OC/SD areas. Since they hang out at the bars so much. I’ve heard from a few of my friends what they are telling them. And if that’s what they are saying to my _Friends_ I’d hate to hear what they are saying to complete strangers about me!

I had tons of plans yesterday, but got ditched for them all. It kinda sucked and was good at the same time. First I was supposed to have lunch with this guy JT, he was in the area for the day, said he’d call me at 1. He finially called at 1:30 and said he was running late, which was fine. I was on my way home by that point. Said he’d call when he was done with his errands. About 3:30 he calls me again, but by that point it he was already back in Long Beach, cause something came up, or whatnot? I dunno.

Then I was supposed to go play tennis with this other guy, but we couldn’t find anywhere free around here, and I didn’t want to drive up to LA to play. And then lastly, I was supposed to go biking with Jason, but his friend was dropping something off in the area and wanted to hang out. So yeah. So I went on a bike ride by myself, and then of course right after I got back Greg called wanting me to go to the gym with him. I was too tired, so I said no.

It all ended up being good though, because I was able to get that PDF generator to work, which means less stress today for Stable 1.0! 🙂

30 Miles!

Ouch…

Jason and I did 30 miles yesterday. We weren’t planning on it, but we just got started riding and then just kept going and going. Made it all the way to Marina Del Ray, and saw where the fucking outrigger team is based. Which just happened to be the point where I was telling the associated story, so it was kinda funny. We also think we witnessed some woman giving birth on the beach… Well, there was a lot of firetrucks/etc. And the woman had her legs up in the air. lol

I’m enjoying hanging out with him, he’s very nice.

[private] I’m starting to wonder if maybe we should move onto going out for a date, and see if that would lead to anything. During our bike ride we complained about a lot of the same things with boys. But then I’m affraid if it doesn’t work out, then I’ll lose a good friend. [/private]

Work yesterday was a complete waste. The internet was down for 2 hours. Then once it came back up, I had like 800 people IMing me to do stuff. Needless to say, I didn’t get much done at all.

Nothing really exciting going on here. I’m heading out to Chino, CA today with Carlito. That’s going to be one LONG ass drive!

It’s so fucking HOT!!!

OMG, it’s fucking HOT here… It hit 128 in some places in the LA valley, shattered a record and hit 88 in my area.

And I have no A/C! 🙁 It’s HORRIBLE when you’re laying in bed naked and sweating to death!

This has been a busy weekend for me. Lets, see….

Friday was work, did lots of random stuff and got some pretty cool shit done. Went out to lunch with Robert after and then went and bought tickets. Went home after that, did the beach, and then went out to see pirates. Came home and went to bed!

Saturday I got up fairly early and went on my bike ride and then laid out at the beach and did some other random stuff. I started my clock! It’s coming a long nicely.

Andrew got here about 5ish and we went and bought food for the morning, then went out to dinner with Jason. Had a good time there, came home and then we did the name tag things.

Sunday we spent the day wondering around LA. Did Venice, Santa Monica, Malibu, and then over to the Hollywood sign and such. There were like 8 million people standing around cause apparently Tom Hanks was there or something?

This week is pretty busy for me already, and sadly I have things that I want to pack in still. 🙁 We’ll see what comes of those.
