V-Day and random people

Wow. I’ve sucked at updating the last week or so!

Let see, So V-Day was great. Went out to The Shore in Hermosa Beach with Ben. We had a great dinner and hung out there in Hermosa and chilled. So that was really nice.

Thursday I went into work late and came home late. So nothing exciting there. Friday I worked in the NB office and apparently we have Monday off. Who knew!? If I had known that I would have gone somewhere this weekend!

Friday, Robert, Eric, Ben and I went out to WeHo. Fiesta Cantina, The Abbey, Here and then the Pizza Place. Here’s closing act is AMAZING. OMG. Next week I’ll try and go and get pics.

Ran into fucking Dustin at Fiesta… Do you all remember DUSTIN? How random! Then of course ran into Mayko at the fucking pizza place. I ignored them both.

The Abbey was great though. We were hanging out in the front area and this random italian boy comes up to me and tells me I’m hot. I say thanks and then am just like. ‘Ok, go away now’. Cause it was really random. But he kept talking. Thankfully he strated hanging all over Robert. Then these two RANDOM people came up and started talking to us. Very interesting times.

The whole group (not the random boys) spent the night at my house. We got up saturday morning and I made them all breakfast. Bisquits and Eggs. Very yummy if you ask me. 🙂 After that Eric and Robert left. Ben and I headed to Downtown LA to The Dock Downtown. The website keeps saying it’s got SO much off on prices, etc. But everything is still $600+. So I was kinda let down. I found a bed frame/mirror that I fell in LOVE with. If/When I decided that I want to spend $1,000+ on decorating one room. I’ll be going to the Dock Downtown. But as for anything else. I’ll stick to the dumpster and craigslist!

After that we headed back to my area. Stopped at South Bay Galleria and accidentially went shopping at Abercrombie Kids. We were wondering why the dress shirts were only $50 compared to the normal $80. I’d still totally buy a Large at the kids store and wear it! Hell to save $30! lol. From there back to my house where I made us lunch and then we headed to the beach for a couple hours. Gotta love going to the beach in Feb! 😀

I think we now have a great group of campers! So there’s talk of going down south to camp in a couple weeks! I’m very excited and hope that it comes through!

Sunday was SUCH a wasted day. I was going to get up at 6 and go biking. But when the alarm went off at 6 I felt really sick and didn’t want to get up. So I went back to sleep. I didn’t wake up till 9:30ish, got out of bed and spent the day on the couch sleeping. I got up for good at 3pm and watched TV, wondered around the house and basically did nothing.

Today I also did the same thing. I was going to get up at 5am and start working on stuff, but I didn’t actually get up till 8! UGH! what’s wrong with me.

Anyways, I have to get some work done. I’m out!

A Look Back…

Dead Soda’s Check out this list of old sodas and what not. Very cool. I remember most of them… lol. It’s funny to look back and wonder what the hell these people were thinking!

Great list of MacOSX apps… My new fav is VirtueDesktops. Which is so cool! The beta has lots of bugs, but I can live!

It’s sad that this stuff is real… and that so many UK/European people will see the US like this. UGH!

I completely forgot to write about what happened at the office last Friday. I was working up in SM and these two girls came by handing out stickers with our names on them. I asked what these were for and they said “The move happening this weekend”…. “WHAT!?” Whave move?! This was the first I had heard of any move! I knew that they were planning a move sometime early this year to across the street, but I hadn’t heard ANYTHING about it in months! So I messaged the guy who manages me there and ask what’s going on. He gives me the DL and that apparently the dolt that’s managing the move forgot to notify me at all. They are only moving the people off the second floor into temp housing till the REAL move next month.

So then about 2 hours later, after I’ve packed up all my shit and freaked out and what not, because NO ONE knows where my shit is being moved to, or ANYTHING the dolt who’s organizing the move comes down and is like, “we’re not moving till NEXT weekend.” UGH! Can’t these people get ANYTHING straight!? What the fuck. Very annoying.

Monday was a 13 hour day at the office… Lots of stuff going on and what not. I have to learn Joomla now. I’ve been meaning to play with it and see what’s going on, but have just never had the chance to do it. I was given the task on Monday to completely redesign the corporate website… By next Tuesday.

Tuesday morning I slept in and headed to the office about 10ish and worked the day away on that stuff. Tuesday night was my first class. It was HORRIBLE… I’m really debating about if I want to go back or not. The prof seems nice enough, he was joking around and making it funny and stuff, but I just don’t know if I can deal with a class right now. Plus when I signed up work was dead. Now I don’t think I have the time or energy to spend 5 hours a week in class, plus the time it’s going to take to do all the homework/etc.

After that I headed over to Ben’s house and hung out with him we went down to Venice Beach and had coffee and just chatted. It was really nice.

It’s so wierd saying.. “I have to run to class now”.. It’s been 2.5+ years since I’ve said that! Ugh. I’m soooo old! haha.

How to blow $145 billion a year.

Remember that job I flew to Chicago to look into last year around easter? Well the same company has posted another ad.. I’m debating about applying.

Well. I have TONS of work to do, and a date tonight! YAY! So see ya later.

Pain Pain PAIN!

Omg.. SOOOO much pain from Tour De Palm Springs!

Sitting up to write this.. PAIN!
Driving in the car… PAIN!
Laying down… PAIN!
Walking… PAIN!

The weekend was tons of fun though. After work I drove out to Palm Springs and chilled with the Aunt and Uncle types. Traffic getting there was horrible. The first 80 miles was STOP…. GO… STOP.. GOO! Very annoying. And then I got lost. Ugh.

So I get there and they tell me we’re going to the club house for dinner. I didn’t bring clothes for that so I had to borrow mu uncles clothes… Straight outta the 70’s. Horrible! The food was good, they got drunk again like normal, etc…

Got done with that and went straight to bed. Got up at 5am and showered, dressed and then headed out to the bike ride.

Overall it was fun. The first 50 miles were no problem. About mile 67 I started to really cramp up, thankfully shortly after that I got a flat tire, so that gave me a chance to stop and streatch and take a break along the road. Got to the 72mile SAG stop and took my time. There was a nice grassy spot that I laid down on for a while and stretched out. By the time we got to the 92 mile SAG stop I just wanted to get the hell to the end! So the last 10 miles I really cranked it out and averaged 20mph for that part. It helped that I was following this really cute 20-something with a nice ass! 🙂

The first 20 miles took 1 hour and 20minutes, the second 20 miles took 45ish minutes…. Over all riding time was just over 6 hours. Total time on the course was just over 8 hours.

I got back to the house about 4ish and showered and then laid down on the couch. We went out to dinner that night and I had some drinks. 🙂

Sunday I got up and was in TONS of pain. Drove home, which was PAINFUL from sitting for so long. And it was raining like a MOFO! Got home and spent most of the night on the couch. Ben came over and we did go out to dinner to Versailles Cuban and had a good time.

Today I’m doing MUCH better, but my tail bone still hurts a ton when I sit. 🙁 I’m not sure if I should go to the gym tonight or not.

Another Celeb

This week has been hectic crazy. I’ve been putting off so much stuff and have way to much to do.

I’m really scared about this 100 mile ride yesterday. Its going to be in the 50’s when we start and in the 70’s midday, plus the whole riding 100 miles. UGH!

So lets see. Tuesday the trio ended up going out to Beige again, so that was exciting. We were standing like 3 feet from Lance Bass. Very exciting. Of course you know who was there, we ignored him again. I will not let him run me out of the place I enjoy hanging out at.

Wed I slept in a little and then got up and went to work in NB. Didn’t get in till 11 again and worked till 7pm. It was a crazy day and for some reason everything on my mac kept freezing and dying randomly! I think it’s probably because I had nearly every application open! I talked to the boss about getting me more RAM again, but he didn’t seem very enthused about doing it. That night I went home and crashed right away. I was so tired. I didn’t even bother taking my laptop home!

Thursday I was back in NB at 6am, and it was another crazy day of website changes, etc. That night Ben came over and we hung out for a while. That was nice, he even gave me a massage! 🙂

I even have an actual V-day date for the first time in years! 😀 Yay!

So, I’ve been trying to avoid this, but Anna Nicole Smith is dead! Kinda random, out of the blue. But really not a big surprise. The annoying thing is though that my RSS reader has about 800 stories about it.

Today I’ve got so much to do before heading out to PS. Ugh! I’m out. Later.

Friendships have thier ups and downs

I made a mistake after the new years saying I didn’t want to be your friend I thoght that it would be too hard to go from what we were doing to being just friends. But I gave it a shot and I really enjoy being your friend.

I know you haven’t known me very long, but I would never do anything to hurt you or any of my friends. I love them all.
