Berlin – Day #3

Well today was really fun, but lets go back to last night. So I took a nap, and went out to the pub crawl.. Not a good time, at least not for me. First, it was raining. I got all dressed up cute, green shirt, white long sleeve under shirt, Gsus Jacket, very adorable. Walked over to the station and paid my $10, hung out there, got force handed a beer. Everyone was standing outside in the rain though, for some reason we couldn’t go into the bar even though it was open! James (the cute boy from San Lius Obispo, CA) was there, I said HI to him, but he basically ignored me. Everyone was with the group they came with and I was just there all alone. So after like 30 minutes of just standing in the rain, not talking to anyone or what not, I went down one door to this really nive building that said it had doctors in it, and stood on the stoop out of the rain.. Well after a couple minutes these two girls came out, wearing VERY slutty clothes, with corsets on the OUTSIDE of their clothes… Strange outfit I thought, but whatever… Then over the next like 20 minutes 10 more girls all came out in the same VERY slutty clothes. So now I’m like… “I wonder if this is a brothel!”… Sure enough, about 15 minutes later one of the first girls that went out came back with a guy in tow… Then another girl. I left after that. Total waste of my $10.. I hate that it happened like that. I reallyw anted to have a good time too. :'(

Today we got up and had breakfast. Then went over to Potsdam, everything was of course closed, but we did find the “New Palace”…. Which is GUEST quarters, was open to tours. This place is HUGE and amazing! OMG! I could not believe it. Andrew would have loved it with all the art they had. We got lost in Potsdam though but found some cool areas, and also found a place where they were digging up stuff. So that was really cool!

Came back here about 5ish, came back to the hostel and hung out for a little bit. Then we went back to the Riechstag and climbed up to the top. It was really neat up there and you could get a great view of the city! From there we came back to the hostel and are just hanging out, planning tomorrow.

I’m having a great time with Angel. Amazingly we haven’t fought yet! But it’s VERY annoying how slow she walks. There’s so much I want to cover and so much I want to go out and explore, but I can’t cuase she’s tired and she hurts. I’m tired, I hurt, but I want to explore this amazing city more then the few blocks surrounding our hostel! I want to go to Kurfurstendamn and check it out, I want to go the Pink District and check it out. I want to go out at night and sit at a cafe and just chill. But I can’t because I don’t want to leave her here alone! Ugh.

Let me say it again though. I’m having an AMAZING time! So excited to be here. It’s GREAT!

We’ve been listening to Christmas carols all day and I’m SO excited for christmas! 🙂 I can’t wait! I’m also REALLY loving this whole bundle up thing. OMG, the scarves, the coats, the sweaters. SO ADORABLE! You have to go look at the pictures!

I also realized today that I am flying NONSTOP from London to LA… someone SHOOT me!

Ok, shower time for me. I stink! I’m gonna try jacking off in there tooooo.

Berlin – Day #2

Wow, so day #1 was tons of fun. We got to all the stuff that we had planned. With some minor hickups. Angel got on the wrong bus, so she got lost. But ended up taking a taxi to get to the hostel instead. While I was waiting at the bus stop for her. Oh well… So yeah, the stuff we did yesterday was just general stuff, and it looks like we’ll be hitting them up again for parts of today. Unter Den Liden, Brandenburg Gate, Reichstag and Nicholas’ Quarter. Had a great pizza for dinner. Food is pretty cheap here. We didn’t get around to writing postcards yesterday though. We’ll have to find some today to do.

My iPod freaked out yesterday and said that it was corropted. So I had to restore it, but that didn’t work and I was freaking out. But apparently the last time I tried before going to bed worked. So that appears good. It’s only 2 years old though! It shouldn’t be breaking already! 🙁

Today we are doing the walking tour at 10:30, and then Schloss Charlottenburg, the pink district, and Checkpoint Chralie. Should be fun! I’ll let you know.

…. Well it’s now like 8 hours later… Just got back from the tour. It was really good. I highly suggest doing it if you ever come to Berlin. We saw a lot of what we sawyesterday, but got a lot more history so that was cool. Plus we met some really nice people. There’s a Pub Crawl going on tonight, and I’m debating about doing that or not. I dunno, the really cute boy is going to be there. I shall see how tired I am when that point comes. Maybe I should take a nap.

EVERYTHING is closed tomorrow… Even then things that the book said was open. So I’m not what we are going to do. But I’m sure we shall find something!

The Fray & Germany Day 1

The Fray… SUCKED! SUCKED SUCKED SUCKED!

The band rocks, normally. Last night I loved the music, the lights, all the fucking HOT boys in the audience, but the vocals just SUCKED. You could NOT understand a WORD he was saying. We left even before the show was over.

[private]And of course robert was a fucking IDIOT! Screaming sexual things the whole time, talking about retarded stuff. He asked me like 2 times if I had been to Germany before. He should know me better then that! He told me he broke up with his ex-bf because after 2 months he said, “I love you”… I think that TWO MONTHS is plenty of time. UGH! What a fucking idiot. And because his ass was an HOUR late, we had to stand WAY in the back. When I got there I could have been like FRONT ROW![/private]

And to top off the horrible night.. traffic GETTING there was HELL! 2.5 hours to go 11.9 miles. YES 2.5 HOURS to go 11.9 MILES! It took me over an HOUR just to go the .5 (yes, HALF A FUCKING MILE) from my office to the freeway! THIS iS INSANE, the lights here in santa monica are RETARDED! ONE car would get through the intersection for EVERY TWO light rotations! OBSURD!

But did I mention the HOT HOT HOT boys that were in the audience, omg! And the opening band was great. So that’s good.

That night I went home, the power was out and was STILL out at 6am when I got up for work. I was on the freeway by 6:30 and the damn thing was at a stand still already! How do people DEAL! I just wish that LA had a GOOD public transport system! I also had an amazing dream that night… I was working at a resturant somewhere, and these three HOT, and I mean the hottest boys you will ever see.. 6’3”, muscles, yum yum! Anyways, they came in and I went home with them! 😉 haha.

Thursday I worked and did 8 million other things

Well, it’s now Saturday morning, 12:53am for LA, 9:53am for me here in Brussels. What a mess this

trip has been already, but lets not get ahead of ourselves….

Going back to Thursday. I went to work, and did some random stuff. Left about noon and went home to pack and clean and do whatnot. Also worked out in there and lots of other random stuff. Met up with Bryan, he was 30 minutes late, which I was not happy about since my day had been so full already. But it was nice to finially meet him and hang out. I had a good time, althogh we have very different tastes in music/movies. But sometimes that can be a good thing. No? I’d be interested in hanging out with him again.

Went to bed fairly early, got up early and went to the airport, no real problem getting in there, but I was in the wrong line at first. Apparently there are now different lines for if you are traveling internationally. Who knew!

Got on the first flight and sat next to two Executives of Victoria Secret. They talked business the whole trip. It was fairly annoying. I also read the book Austin gave me. Learned a lot. Apparently I am doing all the “right” things to meet guys, just not following through with it all. Or something. A lot of the advice about meeting people didn’t really pertain becase I’m gay and what not. But still a good book.

That flight = 5 hours. Ugh! And I am never flying American Airlines again. The flights were seriously like a flying refrigerator.

Got to JFK, and for some reaosn had to go BACK through security. Very annoying. This flight was supposed to have been 6.5 hours, but we were two hours late getting off the ground, so 8.5 hours on that plane.. Again, flying refrigerator. I was freezing to death the whole time. I spent most of flight thinking about what I had done wrong with Jay based on the book. Ugh. Also slept a lot, but clearly not enough. There was a sscreaming child in front of me.

Got to Brussels and they came on the intercom. “If you are staying here, please do not get out of your seat. If you are getting these 5 connections you must RUN to your gate.” My gate was A57… I was in B32. So we all get up and theres this guy BLOCKING the whole isle reading something…. oh and REALLLLLLLLLY hot boys on that flight. OMG!! Some guy starts yelling at the blocking guy and people start moving. So I get off the flight and start running to my gate.. I swaer it was 8 miles away. Had to go through not ONE but TWO, yes TWO security check points, get to gate A57, and NO PLANE!!! I start to panic, but before I get too crazy I check the monitor… I have to be in A50!!! Bastards on the plane lied.. Oh well, i get there and they are just starting to board, so I run to pee and come back.

The boys working the airport in Brussels… to DIE for, so fucking cute! And the accent. OMG!

BTW, I forgot to print out directions/address of our hostel. Hopefully I make it there! Food time now! Yay for good food on these flights.!

Work, Sleep, Work…

Well, I have some down time right now. They are moving my computer back at the mother ship, so I’m stuck not being able to do any work right now. It’s been a very busy week, although I feel like I haven’t done a thing!

Lets see, Monday work work work. Went out to Lunch with Jesse so that was nice. We went to the Crepe place again, but didn’t get Crepes! Damnit. Oh well. After work I started mapping out all the locations we’re going to in Germany and arranging the schedule to have the least amount of travel time. I think I’ve got them all pretty well laid out now. I realized I made a horrible mistake and Angel and I are flying into different airports! Opps! But it seems like the trips should be easy for the both of us. I’m on the U-Bahn for 9 minutes and she’s on for 12. So not bad at all. The itinerary is located here.

Tuesday I worked again, after work I talked to a few Property Managers and was a sleep by 6:30pm. Opps!

Wed I worked, no surprise there, had lunch with Jason and Austin, went biking and though I was going to DIE and then had a date with this guy. He was ok. We had a good time, but there was a little wierdness, and he’s vegan. I’m not sure I can deal.

Today I’m working, no surprise! I’ve put in bids on a few more contract jobs. One of them that I had a meeting with like a month ago just called me back last night and said they are still working on getting the new hardware. So that’s good. I thought I had lost them. I need the money! Going to go the gym tonight and relax in the sauna. My back is killing me, my legs are killing me, my side is killing me. Basically I hurt all over the place!

Friday I’m heading down to NB, lunch with Robert and hopefully going to try to hang out with some other people. I was supposed to go to Palm Springs this weekend with Austin, but he cancelled because of his unruly work schedule. THen I was supposed to go camping with this guy, but I haven’t heard anything from him. So who knows! Sunday is a bike ride. And HOPEFULLY this weekend I can get the clock finished! The boards are “Out for delivery” now!

Sunken City, Germany & LifeCycle – UPDATED!

UPDATE: Photos are now online… AND Go check out my LifeCycle Page. And be sure to DONATE! 🙂

Well it’s official! I am going to GERMANY! I leave on Nov 17th and return Nov 23rd. Should be a GREAT trip! I can’t wait. Going to go hit up a book store this afternoon to buy a travel guide. I think that Jason is a bit pissed about it though. But he hasn’t been expressing any interest in it, has been completely uncooperative in my attempts to plan with him and just keeps putting things off, so I decided to just book with the person I knew could come and if he can fit it in then great! The more the marrier. But I wasn’t going to wait around while he ponders back and forth about it without giving any real answers.

I also had a meeting last night for LifeCycle and I am now officially signed up! The people there were VERY friendly and so nice, so yeah. Plus it was $20 off the registration. YAY! So be looking for me to hit you up for money SOON! I have to raise $2,500!!! 🙂

After that I had a meeting with this other guy about webstuff. It was a bit entertaining when he admitted he was gay as well. I kinda had a vibe, but wasn’t sure. And no, this was not one of the many dates, this guy has a bf and is older then I. It was strickly a business meeting. Ohhh, I had amazing Pumpkin pie while there! I highly suggest going to this place: Susina Bakery. 7122 Beverly Blvd (Cross Street: La Brea Avenue) Los Angeles, CA. Amazing food! And they had Coffee Marshmallows! It’s rated one of the top 10 bakeries in LA. If only I lived closer!

I didn’t get home till 10 and then worked till shortly after midnight. Got up this morning and am working till 7pm in NB. Gooood times y’all!

Check out Wikimapia.

Oh, Wed I went to this place called Sunken City in San Pedro with this guy Eric, he was cute and nice. I haven’t heard from him since or seen him online. I assume that’s a go no. lol. Pictures will be up on the photodump by the end of the night.

I’ve been pretty busy with other things this week, but I just can’t remember what. Sadly I’ve only made it to the gym and the bike trail once this week… Saturday I’m going on a 30-miler with this group from Santa Monica, so that should be good. I was thinking about doing one Sunday as well, but I’m not sure I want to get up at 7am both days of my weekend! Plus I have another business meeting on Sunday. Weeeee

Adios!
