Monday Monday…

This has been a really long day. Got up at 8:00am and went shopping with my mom and brother.. God I hate my brother.

And I thought my mother was going to KILL me with her driving! Gah!

But we went and she bought me a REALLY nice knife set, so that’s cool. I’m excited about that. We also went shopping for camping gear but didn’t find anything worth buying. I did check out the place an Ankeny and think I have found everything I need there, so I’m going to try and drag her there tomorrow to get the stuff I need. We were watching this cool show last night and they had some neat places to camp in Cali. I must check them out. Even if I have to go alone.

Speaking of, even though it’s a bit early, that is my new year resolution. To start doing more things, even if I have to do them alone. God damnit.

Anyways, after shopping I got home and got online and was able to talk to Blake. That made me really happy. We had been txting a bit earlier in the morning, but I was distracted by my mothers horrible driving and by her asking me questions constantly while trying to pick out knives. Anyways, it’s really good to talk to him. I miss him so much, it’s … Well.

After that I went up to Ames and met up with Oksy, we went out to Hickory Park, there were SO MANY people there, it was crazy! But we got in after about 25 minutes, which isn’t bad for them. I’ve known people who waited an hour or two to get in there. lol. The food was perfect as usual and the service sucked, as always. The hot boy from the summer was still working there, but we couldn’t catch his eye. 🙁 Oh well.

From there we went to the porn store cause Oksy wanted a vibrator, but she couldn’t find one she liked so we just went and bought a movie and watched that. Mr and Mrs Smith. It was fairly amusing.

That got over about 5:30 and Ginny called, I told her I would be leaving Ames soon and would call her when I left. So I left there about 6 and called her but no answer, so I just went to Ankeny for a bit to shop. She finially called me back and we decided to meet at JCTC, I got there and she called saying her car was broken and she’d be a bit late. So I went shopping on my own.

It’s nice to be back in the country of boys with meat.. Not that skinny ass shit they got out there in Cali… These boys got something to grab onto! haha.. Anyways, I was bored with the outfit that I had on so I went and bought a whole new one at Holister, Only $35! Woot. I’m a cheap ass bitch, we all know it.

She finially got there and we walked around a bit. didn’t really find anything else good and the mall was closing so we went and saw a movie, “The Family Stone”. It was pretty good.. I was crying towards the end, so sad. But it was very funny as well.

Tomorrow I’m going to be burning brush and then hopefully going out in the evening. Also Dad’s making chili!

Eww, the dog just slobbered all over me!

Oh, Jenks should be getting back into town tomorrow as well, So that’s excciting as well.

I really want to go back early and see Blake. :'(

Christmas is Over

Well, christmas’ are all over now. We got home last night and opened all the presents from the parents. I got some good stuff, but I don’t know what it is with my mother she always seems to pick out the things that i want least on my list. Oh well. It’s all good stuff. 🙂 Drank some more wine with my mom and we watched ‘Christmas with the Kranks” I was bawling by the time that damn movie was over with. I can’t wait till my damn period is over with! Grrr, seems like it’s been going on for months now though.

Went to bed and read some of my new suze orman book. Good stuff so far! Went to bed about midnight and couldn’t get to sleep. Woke up about 2:30 again though cause santa was making way too much noise!

Got up again at 8:00 this mornin g and showered then we did santa. I got some more good stuff but nothing too important. I was kinda surprised that this year my parents didn’t go very hard out. But I guess my brother is really draining them of money, the stupid little fuck. There’s a chance he might have to go to jail. hahaha.

After that we all lounged around and then headed out to the farm. Got there right as the other aunt was getting there. So at least we weren’t the first ones. Seems like everyone hates going out there, it’s funny. My grandma was actually so late, she didn’t get there till right before we started eating. And that damn aunt makes everyone pray. She’s the only fucking religious one. Debbie and I actually got along pretty well and we might be going to germany this spring. Woot!

The stupid aunt also bought all her food from hy-vee in one of those pre-made things. Lazy bitch. Paper plates, plastic silver wear. That’s not fucking christmas!

Anyways, after that we all did christmas. My grandma told me to grab a certian present, but the bitch aunt changed up the way we do it so I couldn’t get the one she told me too. But I like what I got. Plus I got $40 from my grandma for christmas and my birthday, so that was nice of her. 🙂

Now we’re on the way home.

Right after we got to the farm though I got some really bad news and that really put me in a sad mood all day. 🙁 Jimmy txted me and said that Blkae was in the hospital. I’m really sad by this, I hate thinking that he spent christmas in the hospital. Though I’m sure he’s surrounded by people that love him still.

I’ve really been thinking that I might stand by to go back early. He’s supposed to be in the OC area for new years and it’d be great to get to see him. Though I wonder if he’d be free enough so that I’d have someone to kiss at midnight or if he’s going to be sutck with his dad or what. I just know taht I want to see him so badly again.

I think I’m really over Iowa now, I still hate the OC, and I still love Iowa, but I’m over moving back. I’m ready to go somewhere new.

Also after driving 400 miles with my dad in the last two days, I’ve realized that even though my mom is the one who TAUGHT me how to drive, I LEARNED from my dad. lol

Christmas Number 1

Well, christmas number 1 is down. We’re driving back to PC from LX now.

But lets go back to yesterday! WE had a fun christmas party at the office before I left. JP got everyone some really nice gifts, it was just a grab bag sorta thing, but I got a T-shirt that says, “There’s no place like 127.0.0.1” It’s lots of fun, but WAY to big for me, I think I”ll ring up think-geek and see if I can exchange it since it’s still in the packaging. We also got a $100 gift cert to Best Buy, so that’s cool. I left right after that and went over to the airport.

Got on my flight and we left pretty much on time, so that was nice. It was a fine flight off to DTW, got there and we had to sit on the ground for 30 minutes, which meant that my next flight was supposed to be boarding by the time we got off that one. So I ran all the way over to my next flight and found out that it was delayed by 30 minutes. So we finally got on the flight and started to taxi, then they stopped and we sat there for like 10 minutes. Then they came on and said there was a “Slight” problem and that it’d only be 10 more minutes. AN HOUR later they come on and say, “Go ahead and use your cell phones, we’re not sure how long it’s going to be”. And then like 5 minutes later they finally come on and say, “Ok, only 10 more minutes” so then 20 minutes later we finally start to taxi again.

Come to find out this was all because of a fucking PAPER work issue! WHAT THE FUCK!

So get into DM an hour late, which wasn’t bad we really made up time on the flight. Got home about 11 and wrapped gifts and stuff. Then went to bed after having a few drinks with my mom.

Couldn’t sleep and stayed up to 1ish. Got up at 8am and dressed then went down and had breakfast with my dad. Then we left for G&G’s house. Got there and went out to GG’s for a while and talked to her. Came back to G&G’s house and drank a WHOLE bottle of pear wine. It was so yummy. (that’s a bottle between like 4 of us. lol) But it was yummy. It was bottled right there in Lenox! After that we ate dinner and it was yummy as usual.

Once we were done with that we all opened presents. I got some good stuff that I’ve been needing and also got the Star Wars I & II, so that’s exciting. 🙂

Oh, I forgot to mention that I talked to Blake on the way down there through Txt messages. That was nice to do. 🙂 I’ve been meaning to talk about something with him a while ago… For the longest while he hasn’t been saying anything really about how what he feels for me and stuff when we talk, but the other day he actually said, “I love you” and it made me really happy…. Anyways, it was good to talk to him, I really wish eh could have come back with me. It would have been so much fun.

Though, I’m not sure where we’re going to put anyone else around the table. We’re all so territorial about where we sit at the table. Like this year I sat between Beak and Neil, because that’s the way it goes damnit! And neither Beak or I are going to give up our spots at the table. They’re a prime location! And then everyone else just HAS their place to sit at the table. Plus the table was pretty full as it was, and we were actually missing three normal people. I should make a diagram so that you can all see what I’m talking about. lol. (EDIT:// See diagram below, this year we were missing GG, Aunt (Bad) and Brother). But as you can see, we are pretty well packed in there.

I also had a dream last night about Blake and I… I was about to turn 30, I know that much because someone talked about the big day coming up…. But, we both had our pilots license, but for small jets. We had bought a learjet of our own, and had two boys (twins) that were like 2 years old. I’m not sure where we were living, but we owned a cabin up in the mountains in northern montana. Anyways, it was christmas time and we took one day and flew our jet to DM and picked up all my family and flew them to the cabin and then the next day flew down to cali and picked up all his family and flew them back to the cabin (It was a really big cabin, first floor was dining room, living room and kitchen, second floor was all master suite and the basement had 4 bedrooms). Anyways, we had this amazing christmas there. Just like the movies. lol.

My mom just screamed “Whoow” or something like that and that reminds me of something… Driving back from the airport, my mother is now one of those drivers that fucking piss me off so god damn much! GRRRR. She drove slow, didn’t get into her damn turning lanes till the last minute, drove down the middle of the fucking road, and she had her damn high beams on on the interstate!

One Thousand Yellow Daisies

Blah. I finished “The Confusion” last night. I can’t WAIT to get onto the next one. Perhaps I shall buy it while I am back in Iowa and read it there.

How come it seems the only christmas song I’ve been hearing out here is “Last Christmas” I really HATE that song.

I got into work today and someone had printed out my away message and posted it on my desk? How random!

I leave this afternoon for Iowa and get back in late tonight. I’m very excited!! Woot! I packed last night and all that shit.

I had the most random dream last night about Andrew. We were having some wicked sex. And I mean like MEAN wicked sex, we were yelling at each other the whole time, like the same arguments we’ve had a million times before. It was SO fucking wierd.
