Long day today, lots of Proof of Concept work. Very annoying. I hate this part of projects because I feel like nothing is getting done.
Last day in NB office. It was sad, my office was so empty and stuff.
Just felt blah all day. I want a bf… Or someone to cuddle with. :'(
I’ve been coming up with some really cool fun things to do to my new place… Though I’m sure i”m too cheap to do them.

Ugh, I hate unproductive days!
Today, I spent the WHOLE DAY in meetings… Very annoying. I sure hope that every day isn’t like that once I move up there. 🙁
I was very annoyed by one of the meetings. Some people are just way to STUCK on one way to do things, and REFUSE to freaking learn about change!
My bike is also telling me I’m too fat, the bolt that holds my seat on broke in half today… I had to walk 4 miles home.

Resons I hate Windows:
Had to re-install my old Dell laptop today to get linux off it… After an hour of installation, I went to run windows update… “ERROR: NO NETWORK CARD”! So I look, no drivers… So then I go searching for a damn CD that’s long since lost.. Finially find it (Hiding under a desk somewhere). Pop it in, and there’s this wonderful list of 16 Drivers i have to MANUALLY install!
Hello people? Why not have ONE PROCESS that just installs them all automatically.. For each fucking one, I had to unzip (4 clicks), then install (4-10 clicks). Ugh!
And then, once I got that done… A wonderful HOUR of fucking windows update and 4 reboots later, it’s finially working… With zero software. :'(
Reasons I love Iowa:
I had to call Allied today to update a bunch of things and do other stuff… Everyone was so friendly! And chatty and they asked me about the weather here, and this girl told me the story bout how she was just here from Iowa and depressed about the June Gloom… It was so funny, and we chatted about the move and how scary it is… People were just WAY more friendly then ANY OTHER help desk line I’VE EVER CALLED. I thank Allied, and the midwest for that! 🙂
Reasons I hate the Post Office:
I need to change some stuff and fix things at my new place… So I look around.. The post office DOES NOT list ANY of the local branch phone numbers! VERY ANNOYING. Because the 800 number puts you into this continus loop of automatted shit!

So…. two years ago, I was preparing for the biggest move of my life… Now here I am preparing for another big move, although not near as bad.
The last few days have been stressful and very long. Although, I’ve been getting to bed on time, it just feels like they have been much longer.
Yesterday I went out biking with Rob, and also went shopping for some things I need at the new place. I wanted to buy one of those fun Curver ShowerRods… Who knew they were $40?!? Plus I had to go to three stores before I could even find people selling them!
It was also a LONG day at work. I’m trying to get everything off my old laptop and onto the new one, which is proving to be a pain in the ass. Why does ORACLE never work right the first fucking time! Ugh, I hate this product! I also hate Coldfusion, why are the two things I do more have to use both of those so fucking much! Ugh.
I also hate stupid bitchy drivers… Today I was driving to work, and turning left from MacArthur onto Campus.. The light was red, so I was slowing down to stop. As I’m coming up to it, the light turns green…. I was still slowing a little bit though so that I could make the damn turn… All of a sudden this jackass comes FLYING past me on the left (in the traffic lane for people coming the other way) blaring his horn and flipping me off!… Excuse me bitch!? What the fuck did I do!?!?! I wanted to just bash into him so fucking badly. Jackass.
Dustin is back home this week and seeing all the pictures he’s posting and all the blogs he’s writing makes me want to get my ass home so badly. How I miss thee!
My new MacBook is so fucking cool… When apple came out with the FrontRow application, I thought it was really stupid. But alas, it is so fucking cool! I’m sure it won’t get much use from it since I don’t keep videos, etc on my laptop. But for someone looking to use it as a media center it’s amazing! I also found this fun program called IAlertU. Once you set it with your remote, if anyone tries to move, touch or unplug your laptop it sets off a car alarm like sound and takes a picture with the built in iSight. You can only disarm it with the remote that came with your laptop too… It’s so cool!
Robert hooked me up with this boy in RB, he lives like 2 blocks from my new place… We’ve been writing novels back and forth to each other lately. Sadly, he’s got friends in town till next weekend, but it seems like I’ve already found a potential friend up there! If you’ve seen next with the Ep where the boys go flying, and the Nextor has a dog, well that’s him. The point is, hopefully we’ll be friends! haha.
My Mom’s B-day is coming up soon… I dunno what to do for it.
Well, I’ve already wasted enough time writing this. I have to pack the last of my office up today for it’s transfer to SM tomorrow.

Well, my last weekend as an OC Boy. 🙁
And it was honestly pretty fun!
Friday I didn’t do anything too fun. I worked, got bored and went home early. Mostly because I needed to download Fedora to actually DO any work, and it’s faster to go home and download it then it is to try and do it here at the office. I also went on a bike ride, went shopping for a bunch of stuff and did some other random stuff.
Ended up staying in that night though because I was tired and not feeling all that great. Watched The Producers. It was really good and I want to go see the play so badly now! Went to bed early.
Saturday I got up and did Laundry till like noon and then Austin called, so I went over there and we went down to Laguna Beach. Spent like 3 hours there hanging out and stuff and then went back to his place and showered and met Joel and Ryan in Dana Point for Sushi. It was a good day.
From there we all separated and I went home for like an hour before meeting up with Joel and Ryan at thier place for pre-drinks. 11ish we headed out to the boom. Had a fairly good night there, some random people came up and talked to him. The guy was really cute and I tried talking to him more, but he didn’t really seem too interested in talking. 🙁 They were asking me if I was from Kansas.
Ryan and Joel started talking to this random 34 year old guy. Who I thought was really nasty and creepy. Anyways, they invited him to Jack-in-the-box. I think they were trying to hook me up with him. But before the night was over, it was Ryan who got the hook up.
Anyways, after JITB, we were heading back to the car when Ryan decided he had to pee, so the random guy invited us up to his place so that he could do that… Then of course Ryan kept talking and we couldn’t get the hell out of there.. Needless to say I was REALLY pissed and Ryan ended up hoooking up with the random guy in the bathroom while Joel and I were sitting out on the balcony.
Finially got out of there at like 3am. Got home and just crashed.
Sunday I got up and was just lounging around the house. Went shopping at the Shops and got a second power adapter for my MacBook. Got home from that and was just sitting down when Andrew called and wanted to hang out. So I went up there and Austin met us. We watched Golden Girls and then went shopping at the block. I bought a really cute stripped shirt… Just what Austin HATES! lol.
Speaking of though. That boy is so fucking wierd. He IMed me on friday and was like, “We need to hang out more, blah blah blah” it was so wierd. But it was days like Sat/Sun that made me like him so much in the first place, hopefully that doesn’t cause an issue again. Though I’m doubtful it will.
I also got a bit depressed this weekend about the whole Dustin issue, it was really sad and annoying. I’m just so ready to fucking find someone and get a life started with my partner!
Which brings us to the Andrew issue… as he stated in his latest blog, we’re both looking for the same things, and we could get that out of each other.. But honestly, I just don’t think another relationship between the two of us would work out. There’s just too much history and stuff there now. I think we’re just bound to be friends. Hopefully for life. Plus with him moving in a year… who knows.
Andrew and I went and picked up the keys to my apartment, it kinda made me not as excited about it was I was originally. I got a much better look at the kitchen and bathroom, and they are both pretty gross… Mostly the floors are really gross… I was thinking I could get some of those sticky floors and just put those down or something to make it better… It is much bigger then I remembered. So that’s good.
