I got a summons to jury duty…. UGH! I’ve done so good at not getting those damn things! But my luch has finially run out! It starts in last Feb and the thing says is expected to last 5 months! Holy cow!

When I got the envelope and saw “District Court of LA” or what not. I was scared out of my mind. I was like, “Oh GOD! The feds caught me!”

Tuesday night I went out with Mayko to Beige. We had a really good time and ended up chatting with these two random guys. Well, he talked to them, cause they were speaking Portugesse. 🙁 God I really need to learn another language, I feel so stupid around them! hahah. Either way, the 405S was closed yet AGAIN! Why do they always do this to me!? So I got home shortly after 2am and got up to go to work at 4:45. So I’ve had about 2.5 hours of sleep. Ugh!

Tonight I’m hanging out with this guy Ben, we’re doing sushi. Tomorrow I am having lunch with this guy Jimmy, and Friday I an having dinner with Stephen. Saturday I am going to stay home and do work which I’ve been neglecting and Sunday I have a bike ride in the morning, a lunch business meeting and then hopefully Mayko and I can go out and spend the last of my birthday money! 🙂

I also need to find time to get my ass to SMC and get my Student ID and find out about parking. I’m also getting really nervous about this class and wondering if I should change over to French…. 🙁

Why is it that when you have to mail something to a federal agency you have to pay for postage? All incoming and outgoing mail to ANY federal office should be FREE. “God damnit. I have a problem right there!” LOL Oh Mayko!

Well you’re all wrong! It was JAY! WTF?! I haven’t talked to this guy since freaking July, and now he randomly txts me to say Happy Birthday! Don’t get me wrong. It was nice and all, just WHY!? How random.

It was a good day overall though. I worked in Newport Beach and was infact given a fun sounding project. So that’s good news. I also worked on the whole getting permalinks working again on this host. It’s been one hell of a ride, but after posting in the wordpress forums they appear to finially be working on it! Thank god, because I really love permalinks! I also wish they’d fix the whole register_globals issue. Because having to put a php.ini file in EVERY DIRECTORY is a pain in the ass.

But if they don’t get these things fixed I’ll be leaving as soon as my contract is up. Which is in April.

I think Tues I’m going ot try YET AGAIN to get out to Beige. Mayko indicated he might be up for it if he doesn’t have much HW to do. So fingers crossed that I can go!

I was getting ready to leave the office on Monday, as in JUST getting ready to put my computer to sleep, and I get an IM. “You got a minute for a meeting”…. “Sure”…Long story short, two of the VP’s got into a HUGE yelling match, and it was them and me and one other guy in there.. Scary! One of the VPs ended up storming out of the conference room. I was scared and didn’t know what to do!

Apple Mail

I love my MacBook Pro. Everyone knows that. I would be LOST without her. But I have to admit I’m getting REALLY annoyed with Apple Mail lately.

For some reason spam has just been FLOODING me! HARD CORE flooding me. And it’s really getting annoying. I wish that Apple would build in some of the technologies that spam assassin uses. I sure hope that the next version is MUCH better at catching spam.

It’s also been crashing nearly every day! I’m not sure what the problem is. I’ve tried rebuilding my mailboxes like everyone says to do, and that just doesn’t help at all! Hopefully Apple is getting sick of all my bug reports and they will fix whatever the issue is!

I downloaded a preview of Leopard a while back and have to say that I love it. I used it for a while off my external HD, I’ll be out there the day it comes out buying the new version!

Friday night Robert came over about 9:45ish and we hung around here. Invited my neighbor girl and then headed out to Weho. Met up with Jason there and then later Mayko. It was a really good time. The neighbor girl and Mayko REALLY talked like the whole night away, it was funny. Either way, we hung out and ate pizza and had a great night. Sadly I kept forgetting to take pictures! 🙁

Saturday I got up and went and did laundry and then baked my cake. It didn’t turn out very well. 🙁 But it still tastes good. I spent the night at home alone….

Sunday I got up early and headed over to Mayko’s picked him up and we went out to the outlet malls. I got some good purchases, but I was hoping for more shirts, pants, etc. But I really love the few things we did buy. I still have $100 left of what I was going to spend out there. I need to buy new sandles for sure yet. My parents also called me to say Happy-Bday.

Drove him home about 4 and then came home and spent the night hanging out here.

So yeah, it was a pretty good birthday weekend, could have been more fun. But alas. Happy B-Day to me! 😀

Ok, why are Republicans so stupid!…

And now for some real news. I posted a while back that my building was for sale, etc. Well, on Monday the boss called me and I had a total Office Space moment. The boss asked that I send him a list of what I do, and how much time it takes up. I could honestly only account for about 50% of my time. Since before Christmas, no new projects have been sent to me and I don’t have any LONG TERM projects that really keep me busy. Well today, he calls me again and basically said that they want me to start working out of that office 3 days a week so that they can integrate me on some other projects down there. Because PHS hasn’t fully utilized my time like they kept talking about when I moved up here! UGH.

But either way, starting Monday I will be in Newport Beach M,W,F and Santa Monica T,R.
