Adopted Kids

Gah, ok so one of my co-workers adopeted these two kids… And Gah, he’s just annoying with them…

Well, ok. He’s annoying in general. He’s one of those people who takes 100 steps to do one thing… Thinks he knows everything, and that he’s always right. He has all these stories about how he owned a multi-million dollar business, and how he’s done HD for his whole life for a “big” printer company and blah blah blah. And sometims I just want to tell him to shut up.

I also get annoyed that we use so damn many windows machines around this office…. I wonder what the policy would be if I switched my desktop to linux.

I slept all day yesterday, and then got up for an hour and then fell asleep again. Got up at 11 and started work from home.

I’m still really tired… I may be sick or something.

Might be taking on a second job, it’s a dreamweaver position for a small company. Just a few hours a week, but it’d be nice to get some extra money in my pocket as always… I’m still waiting for that raise I was supposed to get at the begining of the year.

More Stupid People

I really hate people who try to talk about things which they’ve never used.

I also really hate people who claim they have experience in things when they don’t.

Also, why don’t people understand the clear superiority of Apple OS 10.X??? WHY!?

I wish I could force every doubter to spend a day with a mac… They would undeerstand then.

It’s really funny too to hear all the switch stories right here in our office. First it was Damon with a Mac, then it was Me… Now there’s 7 people all with brand new mac laptops that they all bring in, and plop out on thier desk every day… And every one of them LOVES it!

Speaking of switch stories. I woner what happened to that really hot boy that Apple used in it’s switch campaign?

A Little More Upbeat!

hello everyone…. How about an update that’s a little more upbeat then the last one. 🙂

This weekend was really great. Sat around my apaprtment and didn’t really do too much.

I watched a lot of trading spaces/ Queer Eye and other such shows and now I really want to buy a house. I looked around here and found a condo up in Long Beach I could afford. But I dunno if I want to put that type of investment down right now.

I also looked in Iowa and found lots of nice houses for less then what I’m paying now in rent… I mean BIG houses 2 or 3 bedroom, with 1 or 2 bath. most in the Ames/Des Moines area. But I wouldn’t mind living there. I really just want to get a house purchased and get that built up so I have something to my name then just $3,000 in stocks. But since I want to move around so much I can’t really buy a house… Blah!

I figured I could buy a house in Iowa, because I do eventually want to end up there again and just rent it out, but god that seems like a lot of work, finding renters and keeping the place up and all that shit. Blah! I know it’d be easy to rent out a house in Ames, but then you’d probably have even more problems then it’s worth. Whatever. I won’t be doing it anytime soon I’m sure.

I’d really like it if my PU’s stayed in our house long enough that I could buy it off them when they move. And itd be nice if they sold it to me fairly cheap… But knowing them they’ll sell it to the highest bidder. 😛

Friday I stayed home all night and just hung out. Watched all the extras for Marry Poppins. Dick Van Dyke is hot! Rarr. Saturday I slept in and then got up, cleaned up some and finally finished my curtians in the bed room… However I only have half of them done. I need to go buy more fabric. But that’s going to be like $75. Blah!

Today I did more of the same around the house. Then went up to Chapman for a while. We went shopping and I bought a grill and some cute ass martini glasses. I’m thinking of having a little get together on Friday night and grill up some lamb and whatever else. And have some martinis or something! Woot.

I really wish I could find someone who had some money to settle down with and buy a house. Or at least a room mate to move in with me so I didn’t have to spend so damn much money on my apartment…. Why did Ty have to turn out to be such as ass hole! He was so nice to start out with, and Chris was even nicer! Why did they turn on me! I would have loved to have gone out and rented a two bedroom or something with them! Blah. And plus with Ty’s promotion I think they were going to move closer to newport, which would have been nice. Oh well, they turned devilish.

Watched the Simpsons and some other really stupid new TV show that fox has coming out. Then I went to the gym and did 25 minutes on the machines. My lungs couldn’t handle any more after my sickness. Came into work and have been here since. I haven’t really done too much.

I should be taking my SECUR test this saturday. But I’m not sure if I’ll be ready for it. This week will consist of lots of studying. So don’t be surprised if no one hears from me.

Taxes Are Done

Well my taxes are done for the year.. I should have my refund in a week. Oh the joys of e-file. Excellent.

Though, I’m kind of annoyed that you can only do one state e-file a year. What if you’re like me and have to file in three states! That’s just annoying if you ask me. Whatever I guess.

I finially got my new chair here at work, but it’s still not very comfy. I’m thinking I may take my refund and go buy a new chair. Or maybe I’ll spend it all on a trip abroad, or a new Mac Mini, or OMG, there’s just so much to spend it all on! Gah!

I’ll probably end up just paying off the rest of my credit card with it. Once I do that it’ll leave me with $144 of my refund left. Just enough to buy QaF Season 4 and something else small. Blah.

But that means I’ll have $500 a month extra to spend on Mutual Funds and investments! Woot! My goal is to own at least $1,000 in all of TRowe Price’s Mutual Funds which are performing well. And a few of the others too. I’d really like to buy the Japan or Asian mutual funds, just to see what happens. It’d be fun I think!

Speaking of that, in the last two weeks I’ve gained a whopping $35 on my $3000 investment! YAY! Money. Hopefully they will continue to go up and not down… I don’t like red, or down arrows anymore.

Umm, much else going on… I’m sick. 🙁 I’ve been downing cough drops like mad. And I think I’m going to go home about 6 this morning. Maybe earlier.

I came in 2 hours early today just to do the build with Scott and, well he wasn’t here. And the build failed yet again.

How hard is it really, when you check something into ICARBS, you should immediatly upload it to VSS!! It’s REALLY not that hard. Why do people consistently forget to upload it to VSS when they check it into ICARBS?! Gah! It annoys me so much. I wish I could call the fucking developers at night when they do something that stupid.

Blah blah blah. I’m sure.

Ok. Well I’m out everyone. Got studying to do.

Pre-Birthday bash

So tonight’s been lots of fun.

Met up with Nikki, Nichole and JonJon and we all went out to Mac Grill. It was SO yummy and there were some cuties there.

Also they came and sang and brought me birthday cake. It was embarrasing.

After that we all went and changed and then went and worked out.

Tomorrow I’m going to chapman to eat with people there, and then Saturday I’m having a birthday thing there.

Also hopfully taking my test tomorrow. I have to call the guy and find out.
