Drama… Drama!

OMG, Ok. So I wanted to also talk about this in the post #2000, but I was too destressed about the whole issue about my notebook, so here goes with this update.

So we all know that Robert sent hookup boy an e-mail on myspace, well hookup-boy sent Robert a reply saying that he’s just looking for freinds because he’s got a boyfriend and all this… SO that’s the first OMG!

That stupid whore had a boyfriend and was CHEATING! Wholy shit!

SO THEN! Like 10 minutes after hookup boy sent Robert that e-mail, Chris (hookup-boys boyfriend) sent Robert an e-mail telling him to back off, and blah blah blah…

This is where things start to get interesting! Robert and I decide to play a little game on the both of them!

Robert e-mails hookup-boy, and says.. “Thanks for having sex with my boyfriend, you whore” or something along those lines. lol.

Pretty much as SOON as he sends that he gets another e-mail from Chris asking when and what happened and all this stuff. So it’s like, is hookup-boy just that stupid that he’s sitting there reading with his boyfriend looking over his shoulder, or does the boyfriend have hookup-boys passwords and is reading his myspace e-mails, etc?

So then Robert replies back to Chris and starts telling him what happened and this and that. It was really funny and I was freaking out cause they are both military boys. It was crazy! But hookup-boy was only 19 and this Chris guy was like 30! Eww.

Eventualy Chris just starts e-mailing me and bothering me about it, and we start talking on line and he’s asking all these details and stuff. And I was so damn nervous that night, that I don’t even remember what hookup boy was wearing or anything. And Chris was asking me about like these tattoos that he has and this birth mark. ANd I was like, “Dude, I don’t remember any of that shit and he didn’t take his shirt off”. So of course it looked like I was lying

Then he’s like, “Look You have the wrong person” and so I was like, “NO dude, it’s the same guy”. So I finially just decided to send him our AIM convo, which apparently convinced him, cause he said he was going to go yell at his boy.

I dunno, like I feel good about it, because if someone cheated on me, I’d want to know, but at the same time I feel so bad about it.

That stupid hookup-boy got what was coming to him though!

I’ve been kinda hoping that one of them would contact me today and let me know what happened. lol, I’m evil like that!

But OMFG! I cannot believe this shit! It’s just crazyness!

In other news, the mac is still dead. I’ve been doing some data comparisons from my past backups (The last full one was in Sept! :'( .. ) and it looks like I got everything except for my pictures directory. Which isn’t a big deal because I have that backed up at home. So that’s good news, although I’m having issuees with getting the correct tools to freaking take the damn thing apart.

I looked up a Lowes on yahoo and google today and found one that’s like a mile away. So I drive there at lunch only to find that the damn directions take me into this fucking gated community, and it’s NO WHERE near a freaking shopping center. I came back to the office and did a satelite view of the area and sure enough there’s not a fucking Lowes there! So I’ve got to stop on my way home and get what I need for that.

I’m in my office that was offered to me today too, because it’s the only place with a free mac right now. I’m really liking it. Though I’d have to change some things around, because I have my back to the door right now and if anyone remembers Krell…. Well that just freaks me out!

Yep… Plans for this weekend are coming together.. We’re going to The Abbey for sure on Saturday, and we’re getting a hotel to stay at up there! 😀 Exciting!

I just don’t want to miss anything! And I feel like I’m forgetting something. I’ve got the Patrol box tacked together, but I found the drill my dad gave me doesn’t work, so I have to go buy one tomorrow to put the rest of the way together. Either way it’s looking really nice. Somehow though the shelves are an inch too short, so I’m going to have to improvise for those. Oh well, all is still good.

Today I had a conf call with GT and SS, I got VERY VERY pissed off during it.. I’ve been working on this project for MONTHS for GT, put in TONS of overtime for him and pushed back other higher priority projects to work on this damn thing for him. I’m like 90% of the way done with it, and this conference call was to hand the project over to SS, because apparently he’s got 2 weeks of FULL TIME work that he can do it. Which means that once he’s back off of it full time, it’s going to go shoved back onto me…

OK, this wouldn’t be a big deal at all.. except for the fact that GT told him to pretty much RE-WRITE EVERYTHING I HAVE DONE IN WHATEVER LANGUAGE HE WANTS TO DO IT IN!!! Which knowing SS is either going to be JAVA or COLDFUSION! Ok, does anyone see the problem yet? A) I’ve spent TONS of time writing this in PHP so that it can easily be picked up by ANYONE. B) I’ve spent tons of time writing this in PHP so that it’s not tied to a specific system or proprietary server (IE, coldfusion which costs TONS of money to maintain). C) He’s going to be basically REDOING all my work in one of two languages that I know VERY LITTLE about, and once it gets passed back to me, I will be expected to maintain, thus taking EVEN MORE OF MY TIME because I will have to learn those languages.

It all just pisses me off so fucking much. It wouldn’t be a big fucking deal if he just said, “OK, hand him your code and he’ll complete what you did” Gah!

Other then that, I worked on the project I talked about earlier, with reporting datamarts. I have to say it came out very spify! I used something called jpgraph, and it looks damn good. Tomorrow I’m going to redo the graphs to be more pretty, but at least it’s working and that’s what matters. 🙂

Austin today told me that he missed me, and that was so cute! I honestly do miss hanging out with him as well and I’m really looking forward to going camping with him this weekend. Not to be mean or anything, I’m kinda hoping that he doesn’t get this job in DC so that we can become better friends, but if he does, I’ll still be happy for him.

I must atract Bakersfield boys though, because today another person from Bakersfield who just moved to the area messaged me on myspace! So random. He’s already got a bf, but he sounds like he would be a cool guy to hang out with. We’ve scheduled some time for next week, but I dunno when that will be. Robert and his boy want to take me out to dinner on Monday for my birthday, Blake is comig on Tuesday, so that leaves sometime after that. And I’m sure Austin will want to hang out in there too!

I’m becoming such a busy boy lately! 😀

Beak sent me the first gedcom file today for our family tree site, everyone go check it out. And since we’re on the topic of Bakersfield, I’ve actually got family there! (Well, people who appear to be direct relatives are dead, but I’m sure they have children, etc who would still live there)

She sent me this tid-bit of information as well: We’re related to half the population of Lenox-don’t date there man-you’d be swimming in your own gene pool. Another interesting thing-apparently when Granny was younger she was in love with on the her Julian cousins-like 3rd or 4th cousin. (the Julian/Juliens are related to use through Granny’s mother Ida). Anyway her parents wouldn’t let them get married because of them being 3rd of 4th cousins so they eventually went on and married other people. Before Granny died though she asked Deb to put a picture of this Julien kid and his obituary in her casket with her.

I think that’s so sad and sweet that she asked for that picture to be put in her coffin with her…

I just got accepted to Google Adsense, so I’m going to add a small Ad to my site to maybe help pay for it. 😀

BrokeBack Again

Yo yall, Brokeback opens in two theaters in DM on Friday!

But, I was listening to NPR yesterday and heard a story about Brokeback, apparently Heath is REALLY married to the woman who played his wife in Brokeback, and they are having a kid! Who knew?

But the funny part of this story is that when they were doing the movie, she wanted Heath and the other guy to make out so that she could get a good reaction when they were shooting the part with her on the deck catching them making out. Anyways, they started, and were doing a shitty job so she yelled at them to make it look real and stuff. (They had to shoot that one sceen 15 times I think he said)

It’s just funny that his WIFE was yelling at him to make out with another guy. haha.

First Five are very interesting to hear.

Brokeback was also voted the number one tear jerker movie this year.

And I’ve been getting lots of google hits for searches of this movie! Hello everyone. 🙂

I’ve decided that when I get older, I want a log cabin in the Mountians of Montana. I want my partner and I to spend winters there, and have a nice big fire place and a ranch type thing. It’ll be so cool.

I really want to buy a house around here.. I’ve been talking to Jim and Deb and it just gets me wanting one. LIke we were talking about the house prices around here and the rent prices and it just pisses me off so much that I’ve thrown away basically $24,000 in the last two years I’ve been here because of Rent. If I had bought a place at least I’d have that invested into something. But it all depends on how much longer I want to be here.

I think that DS and BT might be reading my blog. After I bitched about BT the other day he was kinda bitchy to me at work the enxt day, and DS mentioned something about it being christmas here and my feeling left out. lol. Maybe it was just a coincidence. But it’s strange. I hear that SR has a blog too, but I’ve yet to find it. Someone here had his site linked, but it’s just a blank page. lol.

I also want to move my server to my house, but Cox blocks port 25 for incoming/outgoing mail. Anyone know how to get around this without paying for a mailforward?

There was a REALLY hot boy in the elevator just a bit ago. All dressed up in a suit and yummy! Rarr. He works on the 16th. 🙂 I think he was giving me eyes too.

Speaking of hot boys though. Blake comes tomorrow, and it’s for sure he’s coming down to the OC! So we’re going to hang out at my place and I’m going to cook! Yay!

I was bored this weekend, so I checked out the drugs that the vet gave my cat. Strangly enough they are both HUMAN drugs. One is used for treating Stomach cancer in humans and the other is used to stop the vomiting caused by the cancer drugs! How random?! Anyways, she’s out of drugs now, but she didn’t throw up this morning, so that’s good news. I’m getting really sad about having to keep her locked away in the bathroom all day, but I don’t want her throwing up on my good rug.

I washed my car this weekend too, it’s pretty now. 🙂

The below is probably the most frivolous rant ever…

The developers here are pigs. Every Friday we have dougnut day here in our 7th floor office. Every friday the developers come down before everyone in our office gets here and they take the majority of the doughnuts! Bastards. They have doughnuts on the 15th floor quite a bit as well, but we never go up there and steal them. Also, whenever we get good breakfast bars/etc on our floor they come down and take pretty much the whole box. Yet they still have thier own supply up on the 15th floor. I was just up there a few minutes ago and apparently last week they got one of those HUGE gift baskets with cheese and crackers and meat and I even saw caviar in there…. It came from the company we rent the office space from, yet no one from our office went up there and raided it! Bastards.

Not that I need to be pigging out on that shit anyways. lol
