Work, Sleep, Work…

Well, I have some down time right now. They are moving my computer back at the mother ship, so I’m stuck not being able to do any work right now. It’s been a very busy week, although I feel like I haven’t done a thing!

Lets see, Monday work work work. Went out to Lunch with Jesse so that was nice. We went to the Crepe place again, but didn’t get Crepes! Damnit. Oh well. After work I started mapping out all the locations we’re going to in Germany and arranging the schedule to have the least amount of travel time. I think I’ve got them all pretty well laid out now. I realized I made a horrible mistake and Angel and I are flying into different airports! Opps! But it seems like the trips should be easy for the both of us. I’m on the U-Bahn for 9 minutes and she’s on for 12. So not bad at all. The itinerary is located here.

Tuesday I worked again, after work I talked to a few Property Managers and was a sleep by 6:30pm. Opps!

Wed I worked, no surprise there, had lunch with Jason and Austin, went biking and though I was going to DIE and then had a date with this guy. He was ok. We had a good time, but there was a little wierdness, and he’s vegan. I’m not sure I can deal.

Today I’m working, no surprise! I’ve put in bids on a few more contract jobs. One of them that I had a meeting with like a month ago just called me back last night and said they are still working on getting the new hardware. So that’s good. I thought I had lost them. I need the money! Going to go the gym tonight and relax in the sauna. My back is killing me, my legs are killing me, my side is killing me. Basically I hurt all over the place!

Friday I’m heading down to NB, lunch with Robert and hopefully going to try to hang out with some other people. I was supposed to go to Palm Springs this weekend with Austin, but he cancelled because of his unruly work schedule. THen I was supposed to go camping with this guy, but I haven’t heard anything from him. So who knows! Sunday is a bike ride. And HOPEFULLY this weekend I can get the clock finished! The boards are “Out for delivery” now!

Anothery day, another ride

This has been a long weekend. Lets see… This whole getting dark so damn early is really throwing me off.. I feel like I should be in bed at like 6pm. I dunno what’s it all about! And I watch so much TV now. I hate it.

Friday this guy came over. Johny 5, we’ll call him. He was nice, and pretty cool. Nada’s gonna happen there. We hung out and watched constantine. I love that movie. Went to bed about midnight, after being up since 3:30am. Saturday I slept in, went and did laundry and hung out at the gym’s hot tub for a couple hours. Did nothing else that day.

Sunday I got up at 6am… Well actually I was awaken at 5:30 by the guy upstairs having very loud sex with some woman. And here everyone said he was gay! WRONG! Got up, showered, had a quick bite to eat at starbucks (I am in love with the Pumpkin cream cheese muffins!). The lady that serverd asked why I was all dressed in biking. Told her about Lifecycle, she’s doing it too. How random! Went up to Santa Monica, met up with everyone. Lots of people there that I met last weekend, so that was cool. We headed out. Really great ride. There was this one person that showed up and at first I just saw from the back, tall, you could tell young, nice ass, skinny legs. I was like, thank god some hot boy my age! 🙂 Turned around… no package! It was a lesbian! Damnit! There was one hot guy there, not sure how old he was, but he was nice. Mike. Sadly I was a bit faster then him coming down one hill, so we got seperated for the rest of the ride. Hopefully I shall see him again.

After the ride I headed over to the 24 hour fitness that I told y’all about on Wed. Just went in to shower, as I had a meeting in the valley and didn’t want to drive home to shower and then back to the valley! So went in, showered and on my way back to the locker area, this HOT guy in a speedo came out of the pool area. Stared me down. Walked past me and TURNED around and watched me. (I could see him in the mirrors). I weighed myself. He stood there watching. I went in and changed. A couple minutes later, he comes in, completely naked and……

 

 

 

 

Well, he put on his clothes. (Too bad it didn’t turn into a HOT sex scene though, eh?) His locker was right across from mine. So by this time, I was ready to go. I stalled a couple minutes while he changed. (NICE ASS!). Eventually I ran out of things to stall about, so I go down stairs. Ask the guy at the counter for directions to this place I already knew where it was at. The guy comes down the stairs and stares at me some more. Too bad I’m such a pussy. I shoulda talked to him!

Anyways, I went and ate lunch at The Counter. Which my Gma had called and told me about a while back. Amazing burger! Well I was placing my order I was just chatting with he girl, told her I just got done with the really long bike ride and she said, “Have you heard of LifeCycle.” and I told her that’s what I was doing!!! And then she was like, “OMG, I’m doing it tooo!” She had done it last year and we talked for a while before it got crazy busy. When I left she gave me a hug! How cute! I love this! Now if only I could start meeting some real boys to hang out with! YAY!

So THEN! I have this meeting up in the Valley. The guy was cool, he showed me what I need to do, designed the circuit and everything. It looks like it’s going to be a lot more work for me, but he was a great help and really explained it all to stupid old me! I gotta order a part and then head back so he can show me how to do it this way… anyways, we were talking and he knows someone who is doing Lifecycle as well! This thing is EVERYWHERE! It’s so crazy.

Talked to my Gma. She didn’t seem thrilled that I asked her to donate to it for part of my christmas/b-day present. 🙁 She was like, “So why are you supporting this”… Well you had to hear her voice. The fam knows how Gma has that disapproving tone!

So I was reading a post from 4 years ago today.. it’s really sad that I no longer have ANY idea what multiple regression curves and linear regression EVEN IS! And 4 years ago, I was saying it was so EASY!

Anyways, I’m exhausted and Simpsons are on! Laters!

Dr. Laura and Politics!

I know I’ve talked about Dr. Laura here before. But lately I’ve been listening to a lot of Talk Radio . It seems like I’m always in the car when she’s on. I like some of her advice, but some of it is just OVER THE TOP.

For example, this guy called in today and was asking her which of two jobs to take. Job 1, he works late (9pm) 6 days a week. But he’s home every night, sees his kids every morning, etc. Job 2, pays more, but he travels 5 days a week. Thus he doesn’t see his kids at all for those 5 days, but it means he gets 2-3 days off in a row (depending how his travel schedule works out). First.. Dr Laura seems enraged that he would EVEN consider taking a job in which he’s not home for dinner! How DARE he want to provide for his family by taking a job that he needs! WAKE UP Dr Laura, not EVERYONE can get a cushy 9-5 job. Some people have to work odd or off hours to be able to provide for thier family. At least he’s WORKING and doing something… But honestly, someone who needs to call into a radio show to be told which job to take is just an idiot anyways.

Another example, this guy called in. His wife wants him to THROW away everything from his previous relationships. Including his pictures, keep sakes, etc. This is just stupid. if the woman isn’t comfortable letting him keep things from his past, then she clearly has trust issues and needs to get over those before they get married. If anyone EVER asked me to get rid of the stuff I have from Adam, Andrew or anyone else I would be PISSED. Ugh. It was just annoying.

Last example, I swear! 🙂 A woman called in. She’d been dating this guy for 1 and a half years. Been married for a year and a half. So 3 years together total. The guy cheated on her. Dr. Laura acted like it was HER FAULT that he cheated on her! HER FAULT. Excuse me? It’s the GUYS fault that he cheated!

I disapprove of most of her advise.

I’m also really annoyed that SOO much media time is being spend on this damn priest scandal. (They should call it priestgate! hahah) Who cares what he did. Just investigate and get over it. There’s a lot more interesting news going on that SHOULD be reported at this time with elections so damn close!

And lastly. Watched the Colbert Report, and he intervied this guy who is a republican running for senate in Beverly Hills.. (David Nelson Jones) when they first showed him, I could have SWORN it was that guy, the one we dislike, from Santa Monica.. You know his name! 🙂 Fuck he’s HOT though!

Women Managers

Yesterday started at 3:30am, it ended at 10:30pm. Today started at 3:30am, I’ll be lucky if it ends before 10:30pm. Friday Starts at 3:30am.. You can bet it’ll be ending by 6pm!

So yesterday was a day of 150 miles, 4 hours in the car and never leaving the LA area. Started out at home, drove to NB, worked, drove to SM for a meeting, worked out (after getting lost trying to find the gym!), drove to WeHo, shopped at Borders for a bit, then a meeting for LifeCycle.

The meeting was ok, I didn’t really learn anything I didn’t already know, but the main point of going was to try and socialize. I finially met my Cycling buddy which was good. She’s from Chicago, so that was cool to talk with another mid-westerner. Bike ride this saturday probably. I just can’t find one that I feel comfortable joining. There are 3 beginner rides, and then one 40 mile advanced ride. I’m not sure I fit into that category yet. But I’m sure not a beginner!!

Spending the week working the HD, I’ve decided that I _hate_ the female managers here. They are all VERY mico-management styles and it’s REALLY annoying. I really don’t need you e-mailing me 5 times a day asking for updates on a ticket. When there’s an update. I’ll fucking send it to you!

Halloween

Last night I rode from RB to Venice. First time going that far. Usually I stop in MDR. I felt like I was going to die… I think it was because of the cold. I really have to get some arm/leg warmers. I averaged about 15mph though, which isn’t bad for how I was feeling.

Last night was Halloween. I went up to the store about 6ish and they had closed off the Riveria Villiage area and were having this HUGE trick-or-treat thing… Oh to be a kid again! Yet again I didn’t get to WeHo for the crazyness there. I really wanted to go. Everyone I asked said they weren’t going, so I wasn’t going to go alone!

Have I mentioned that I’m working @ 3:30 every day this week? SUCKS!

Went out to lunch with Andrew yesterday as well. It was good to see him again. It’s been way to long.

I was flipping through chanels last night and came across an interview with Ann Coulter. I wanted to shoot this woman! She was just being completely ridiculous. She made it out that this whole Foley thing was that he “asked him what he wanted for his birthday” and that was it! I’ve never watched or really read about this woman. But now I see why everyone hates her…. On the other hand, I will have to say that I agreed with her on ONE point. That all these tax loop holes should be thrown out and there should be a flat tax, it’s there to raise money, not to promote “correct” social behavoir.
