So yeah… Today’s been really great.

Last night we went to Dustin’s party… It was good to see everyone again… There were also alot of people that I didn’t know, which was odd, but whatever. There were drinkables there, which I really didn’t like, so well we left early. Since the cops kept driving by.

I spent the night at Adams.. That was GREAT! lol

Today we went to the fair again, it was tons of fun. Lots and LOTS of hot bois… So nummy.

Ok, so usually I don’t like forwards, but this one is just great!….

GOOD:

A policeman had a perfect spot to watch for speeders,
but wasn’t getting many. Then he discovered the
problem – a 10-year-old boy was standing up the
road with a hand painted sign, which read “RADAR TRAP
AHEAD”.

The officer then found a young accomplice down the
road with a sign reading, “TIPS” and a bucket full of
change.

(And we used to just sell lemonade.)

BETTER:

A motorist was mailed a picture of his car speeding
through
an automated radar post. A $40 speeding ticket was
included.

Being cute, he sent the police department a picture of
$40.

The police responded with another mailed photo of
Handcuffs.

BEST:

A young woman was pulled over for speeding. As the
motorcycle officer walked to her car window, flipping
open his ticket book, she said, “I bet you are going
to sell me a ticket to the Highway Patrolmen’s Ball.

“He replied, “Highway Patrolmen don’t have balls.”

There was a moment of silence while she smiled, and he
realized what he’d just said.

He then closed his book, got back on his motorcycle
and left.

She was laughing too hard to start her car for
several minutes

Cleaning House

So since I had already killed my up time and I had to move one of my computers out of my office anyways, Ramsey and I spent the day cleaning out our office and re-arranging… or as Chris put it. Arranging our office, since it’s never really been done before.

Ramsey and I threw out 3 huge boxes worth of old old shit… I came home with a brand spanken new copy of Windows 3.1, so if anyone wants it… You know where to find it now!! lol.

Tonight’s been odd. I dunno why, Adam and I went shopping and he was grumpy at me and I was grumpy at him. I was in a perfectly good mood though. Oh well.

On our shopping crucades however I found a really cute thing… I call it a thing because I really don’t know what the hell it is. I think it’s a bananna holder with random round things on the sides, Adam says it’s a spice holder and my mom says it’s a paper-towel holder. I dunno. Perhaps I’ll take a picture of it and post for people’s opinions… However, even if I do find out what the hell it is, I don’t care, cause it’s my new candle holder. Hehe.

In other random news, Calee fisher updated after a long while, and Mikey Spikey has replaces Marrisa, on the reading list… Since well, I’ve met Marrisa like twice and she hasn’t updated in like forever… I’m so excited, now I can read all about Mike’s life. The first day appears humerous!

So Much

Man there’s so much that I wanted to post about today, but I can’t really remember it all. We’ll try…

First, I got into all the classes that I wanted for next semester, now it’s just a matter of fixing some times and shit. MWF 8:00 Am sucks ass. But I got rid of a TR class, so that I can sleep in more / work more.

I dunno, there really was alot that I wanted to babble about. We have our first test tomorrow in Social Psych. I dunno how that’s going to go, I’m home tonight to study for it. Good times.

My family ordered a pizza for supper and it had all mushrooms on it, fuckers. I hate mushrooms.

Well this is pointless ramble, I’m leaving.

Ok, one more thing, today I dropped the picture I have on my desk of Adam behind my desk, well I had pulled my desk away from the wall a bit and was laying on top of it reaching back behind it to get the picture when Barb came in and asked what I was doing, I told her I had dropped something, she asked what I had dropped and I put the picture back up on my desk. She picked it up and said “Oh, the picture of your brother.” I sooo wanted to tell her, “No, that’s my Boyfriend” but I didn’t. Ohwell, it was still funny shit.

Best Day In a While.

So today has been absolutely great! Chris and I continued to bitch about things, and then we deicded to find a new motherboard for my computer. So we looked and looked. It was a pain in the ass to figure out what kind I needed in the first place. So yeah. We figured it all out and found a replacement Asus for $50, which is great compared to the $395 that HP’s trying to charge for a lower quality one. So that’s cool, perhaps I’ll get it soon. I should put pictures of what my server used to look like and what it looks like now, you’d all be amused. I know I am!

Today at Krell was also the annual board meeting, there were alot of big wigs around the office, people I’ve never seen before. Very odd.

Tonight Adam and I went out to Java Joe’s like normal, we were hanging out when we ran into James from group, he said he was waiting for Mike and low and behold Mike appears, so we hung out with them. It was really fun. We all went back to Mike’s apartment, which is fucking cool, and just hung out there tell 12:00 or so. Great times.

And that’s been my day, night all!

Moving

So the last 24 hours have been very stressful for me…

Last night just as West Wign was getting over, and I was just putting the finishing touches on the final Stat paper, my monitor started turning on and off at a high rate of speed… It continued to do this for some time, and the only way to stop it from doing it was to unplug it, but even when I plugged it back in, it just went about what it was doing (the on / off bit) It did this for about 15 minutes, then finally stopped, but it wasn’t showing any picture, it was just sitting there making a whirrrring sound… That pissed me off to no end, cause our other HP monitor had done the same thing… I called HP, hoping that they had at least a 2 year warranty, cause my 2 years is up August 25th.

I was on the phone for about 30 minutes (a non-800 number) before I finally got to a tech, he said that they only had a one year warranty and that he could “provide assistance for $30.” I asked him what the hell he could do for a broken monitor over the phone and he said “nothing.” So I said some choise words and hung up on him. One of the biggest things that pisses me off are Phone Tech support people. Fuckers.

So I called my mom, she said I could get a new one this weekend. Good thing too.

I threw the old one away this morning.

I also moved the server to it’s new home this morning, we’ll see if it works…

I’ve had quite the time getting it to work here. I brought it in, plugged it in, put in it’s new RAM (512Megs) and booted it up. It came up just fine, I changed everything (IP’s, named, httpd, etc) and tried getting to another computer in the building, it didn’t work… It took me about an hour before I realized I was using a CAT-3 cable instead of a CAT-5 cable and that was the problem, so I changed the cables and everything works now… Good times.

I’ve got alot to do tonight, and I don’t have a monitor in my dorm room. Damnit

I’ve figured that I’ll move home this weekend, come back up monday afternoon for my final, go to GLRC, come back Tuesday afternoon for my other final, then work Thursday from 8 – 5 and go to my review session Thursday night, then I’ll drive back up Friday morning for my last final and work tell 3, then meet Adam at 3 and be off to somewhere land… Good times.
