Parties!

Ok, so the last two days have just been wild crazy. Today I went to my G&G’s house. I left here at like 7:30 this morning and hung out down there tell 3:30, when I left to come back home. I got back to Ankeny around 5:30ish and met up with Adam. We hung out at his house tell 7ish when we headed to the Mall to return some stuff. We also got a movie to watch, but we never did get around to watching it.

After the Mall we went downtown. We were walking around when we went over to the Ampitheater thing, and there was some wedding going on, so we stood and watched it, ti was amusing. They were both paramedics, so they drove off in an ambulance. Good times. We called James after that and met up with him, we went off driving and shit, good times, good times. We then headed back to Java Joes and we ran into… Fuck, I forget her name, it starts with a J. But yeah, we saw her and some of her friends so we sat down and hung out with them. Then Brian and Rob showed up so we talked to them, it was just gay place there tonight. Purple shirt boy was also there, but he’s a big fat ass hole, so we don’t care. lol. He’s got his belly-button peirced.

we hung at Java Joe’s for a while and then went out walking, and talking. Good times. Brian was also being fairly nice tonight as well, from what I’ve heard he’s normally pretty bitchy and stuck up. But he was good company tonight, and fun to hang out with, perhaps we should do that more offten. But yeah. So we decided to go to the gay loop. It was fucking PACKED!. There wasn’t hardly anywhere to park on the whole fucking thing. So we found a spot to park and sat around on James Jeep, with the top down. I LOVE JEEPS!! We all hung out talking for like an hour there. Dustin showed up in there somewhere as well. And a ton of other people. It was just really good times down there tonight and it reminded me of last summer, which is good.

James had to leave about 12:30 and so did we, on our way out I ran into someone that I know from ISU, he was drunk off his ass, so I’m glad we were leaving cause I didn’t want to talk to him.

There was also a LOT of tension at the loop, between lots of people. Wierd things going on. Why my gay people be so bitchy…

What do people want?

Today’s been one of those annoying days where you’re grumpy for no reason that you know of / can control and everyone around you is just trying to be nice, but it just actually pisses you off then. I mean I dunno, what do people really want with me, is there anything that can really be done?

I just don’t know. I have fun when I’m around them, I really do, I enjoy every minute of it and I can’t imagine being apart but I’m grumpy sometimes and that’s life. It can’t be fixed all the time. It just really can’t.

I also hate when there’s something that you hadn’t planned for, that you knew about, and just forgot about when you’re making those little plans in your head for that day, I know you all do it. I do it constanly, I make little plans for things that I’d like to do in a day. Today I had made the plans to just hang out with Adam, as far as I knew there wasn’t anything going on, so in my head I had made those plans, taking into account that on normal Saturday nights we stay home and watch his sister. By 5 when I saw him, I was really looking forward to a night of just us two, to sit around in our underwear in front of his TV and just talk and hang out. I really wanted to, we haven’t had any time lately to just sit aorund and do that, like we used to. We’ve just been so busy. We were going to last Saturday, but people stopped by and stayed tell 2am, but that was still fun times. We haven’t had time like that for a couple months now. Tonight I had really wanted to. But I got to Hy-Vee at 4, and while talking to Nelline, she reminded me that Leah was having a party tonight. I wanted to go, just to hang out, but that ruined my plans for the night, the night that I’ve been waiting for. I was already in a grumpy mood for no reason (well I have my suspisions as to why, but that’s none of your business), and this just added to my grumpyness. I expressed to Adam that I really didn’t want to spend the amount of time there that he wanted to. So I said fuck it, and was going to drive myself and he was going to drive himself so that I could leave whenever I wanted to. But he said no, and we drove together. Fine.

So we get there and it’s just Leah and Andi at that point. Nelline showed up about 9ish. I had a much better time then I thought I would, but I still would have liked my plans to work out, oh well. They all played some screwy dance dance game, I don’t have the cordination to play it myself, so I only did it once. It was all amusing, I played pool as well and did good I think. Until people started cheating. heh.

At 11 we had to go pick Abbie up from the movies, so we left, picked her up and went back to Adam’s. In my mind my plans were coming back, we could still work out the evening of just sitting on the couch watching TV and the like. But alas, we were both very tired and Adam wanted to go to bed, so now I’m here.

Bitching to an endless crowd of people that don’t care….

I love him with all my heart, I do, but sometimes, I’m just grumpy.

A weekend I’ll never forget…

if I could only remember it all.

Well prom ROCKED. Like no other. It was so great. We got ready about 3:15 and then headed off to pick people up… We got to Annie’s about 4:30 or so and hung out there. Dylan was there, one of Annie’s friends from Lincoln. He was damn hot. We did the whole picture thing and then left there for Bucca Di Beppo’s. It was really packed there, but the food was pretty good. From there we headed off to the ballroom. We got there almost 45 minutes early, but they let us in anyways and the party started, and the nervousness increased…. Things went good though, we danced around with everyone and had a good time… Until 11:30, along it came… I was getting really nervous by then and I could tell Adam was. The slow songs were coming on and I wanted to dance, I was going to make him dance. I made him get up and helped him on with his coat. We walked out to the dance floor hand in hand… Chose a spot and I put my arms around him and we danced… The song seemed to go on for hours. I could tell he was nervous and I was getting even more nervous as every second went by.

I looked around as we danced, as did he. I saw that no one was staring. He was nervous, I told him not to worry, this was our time, we were dancing, but he wouldn’t let that past him, he wouldn’t not worry and just have fun and danced. I kissed him on the cheek and he turned away. We continued to dance with all our friends around us. Finally the song was over and we went back and sat down.. I was shaking so hard, it felt like it lasted for hours… But it was the best time and the worst time of my life.

We decided to leave after that… I would have liked to stay na dance one more song, but we didn’t, it was best to beat the everyone out of there.. And I’m glad we did leave, there was a bad accident on the Highway, so we had to take a detour home.

On the ride home Adam and I talked about things, he felt that he let me down because we didn’t dance more… I think it was mostly because Jessica and Mandy made him feel bad about it. But it was alright… He took a really big step that night, a step I know I never would have been able to take when I was in HS. I was really proud of him that night.

We got home and changed, and headed back to afterprom. Everything there went great. It was pretty boring until about 4am when the hypmotist started. He was great and made Dusting yell “I pissed my pants and I’m proud of it.” Alot. hehe, we laughed and made comments about the hot guys that were doing stupid things… hope not to many people get to see that video tape we made, lol. Lots of butt action shots there.

We left there about 6 and got to bed about 7ish. It was good. We slept tell 1:30 when we got up and took the tuxedos back. Then we went out to breakfast.. After that we went shopping then back to his house to watch movies and just hang out for the last couple hours before I had to come back to school. It was sad to leave last night, but it had been a really great weekend. I wish there would be more times like that, when I can just stay with him the whole weekend and we could have our house, it was our house that weekend. We lived together.

This will be a weekend I never forget….

And the countdown continues

Well here it is one hour before we leave for prom activities. We leave to pick up the girls here in about 45 minutes. I’m scared as shit right now…

The last night though has been good. We hung out here all night and watched a movie and stuff. Todays been alright. It was off to a bad start though, we had to drop Adam’s car off to get fixed and he told me where the place was. So I went ahead of him… Well he told me the name of the place and that it was on 2nd street… So I went off, turned onto second and didn’t see him behind me. So I pulled over cause I was thinking the place was on 14th street, but since he said 2nd, I figured well he knew where he was going. So I stopped and then I saw him come up to the stop light to turn, so I went on ahead. Well I get down to firestone and by now I knew he had said wrong. So I pulled over and waited for him…. He caught up to me and yelled at me for going ahead and shit. It was bad, but we went back to where it was, and things worked out. It was alright now. After that we came back to Ankeny, ate lunch and then washed my car and vacumed it out. It’s all pretty now. So yeah, we’re ready to get going.

Coming to an End….

Well spring break is coming to an end and it’s sad. This week’s been good. Mostly, not much has really happened lately. Thursday night Adam and I sat around his house. Missy and Tara called so we went to supper with them, that was fun, after that we went back to Adam’s and watched more QaF. We only have one episode left, YAY!

Friday was amusing. Chris at work was getting really frustrated with Nazanin. We’re working on this CD with a ton of PDF presentations and such that we’re sending out…. Well we originally (almost two months ago) had it set up so that when you put in the CD, it automatically loaded the TOC from the Cd using your copy of Adobe Acrobat and if you didn’t have it installed it asked you if you wanted to install it. Well Nazanin decided that she wanted it to check for Quicktime as well. Well the program we were using to do the autoload couldn’t do that, so Chris was handed the project cuase he knows flash and it can check for quicktime, but can’t check for Adobe. So since it couldn’t check for Adobe we made it run Acrobat off the cd instead of the harddrive, which also saved us alot of paper work for the copyright shit. Well after he got that working we burned a “final cd” they found one stupid error, so we fixed it…. Burned another cd, another error, it was fixed and so that went on… WE ended up burning almost 50 “final” cd’s. Well Thursday we had the FINAL FINAL cd, and the FINAL FINAL cd insterts (those paper thngs that are in the cd cases) So we printed the insterts, all 250 of them on the color printer, on special paper wich costs about $1 per page and were going to take the final CD to the burners on Friday, they’re in Nevada. Well Friday morning during the staff meeting they were going though showing the final product and found out that some of the fonts didn’t work, because it loaded them from the CD instead of using the fonts on the computer. This meant that A) we had to get copyright info on all the fonts and put those on the CD, or B) change the splash screen to check for Acrobat, install Acrobat 5.0 if not already installed, and reprint all 250 CD insterts to comply with copyrights.

Of course Nazanin decided to go with option B. So we had to come up with a way for the original program to check for Acrobat, and then it loaded the flash program to check for Quicktime. Chris wasn’t happy when I left yesterday…

Luckly the new server came in, so I got to play with that most of the day rather then having to mess with the CD thing. However the server was being a pain as well cause we got it with no OS (to save almost $1000) Well Win2k didn’t have the drivers for the raid card, so it kept giving me errors about not having any hard drives to install too. I was like “LOOK THERE, THERE’S TEN FUCKING HARDDRIVES YOU CAN INSTALL TO.” pos, oh well Dell was nice and had them on a CD that came with the server, so that was fixed fast.

I also talked to Nazanin about hosting my website out of Krell this summer, they said it’d be alright. Hopefully by then I’ll have my DEC’s working, or at least have a new computer to have it on. We’ll see.

Friday night was amusing as well. I met up with Adam about 5ish at his house, we were laying on his bed cuddled up together, watching QaF when his mom just JUMPS into his room. I jump back from him and he jumps back from me… She had to have seen something cause she jumped right back out of his room as fast as she could and then came back in a bit later. We were like OMG OMG OMG. She had to have seen shit… I bet she thought we were making out too, cause that’s what it would have looked like. Oh well, she went out, so we hung out and watched his sister and movies… It was good. Tonight should be more of the same, I think. Hopefully his sister will leave as well.

I went to my dorm yesterday as well to get sun glasses. I still don’t have a room mate, hopfully I won’t have one when I get back Sunday night. I’ll be mad if I do.
