Team 100

So when I first signed up for AIDS/Lifecycle way back when one of the first things I did was to join a team. They promoted it as being a great family experience and that it would really help your fundraising, etc etc. So I rode with the team for a while and they are all great people and I’ve made some good friends off the team. But…

First off, the team has only raised me about $100 total. Not really worth it.

But the major issue is that even though I was one of the first 20 people to sign up. I have been totally screwed out of all of the teams events. This past weekend I found out that the team leader has been sending out emails nearly every week for MONTHS now about different things.

This all came to light 2 weeks ago when I was out on the Latigo Canyon ride with a guy when he mentioned a dinner on Tuesday. I said I had no idea about it and he asked if I had gotten the email. So I email the team leaded and apparently not only is there a dinner on Tuesday they also had a tent grouping, and team jerseys and they all got hotel space together.

WHAT?! Now this SURE as hell would have been great to know about forever ago. That way I would be tenting with my team, I would have a jersey, etc. So I email him back and say that I want a jersey. Well they are all sold, of course because you had to pre-order yours. Thankfully they were able to buy one back from someone who had bought two jerseys, so I did get one. But Still! This is all a mess and is really angering me.

Then on Sunday when I was out at JC’s b-day party, I saw a girl wearing a Team 100 jacket. And it was SOO cute! I want one damnit. But all because of someone else’s screw up, I didn’t get a chance to get one. And apparently there is also a fucking Team 100 hoodie! WTF?!

I know that going to the rides, I would have been able to hear about them more, but I’ve been busy and unable to go to the ride times they have had. So it’s not my fault. I signed up forever ago and missed out on a major part of this “family” experience all because someone else didn’t send me the correct emails.

What a weekend!

Friday after work I went out on a quick 32 mile ride with Nick. That was pretty fun and a great change of pace.

It took us just under 2 hours. After that I drove home and crashed at my place for the evening. I was in bed by like 8:30 and didn’t get up till 7am. Such a nice nights sleep after having to work 3:30 for most of the week!

Saturday I got up and headed up to Santa Monica for a ride. It was a nice and easy but really boring ride down the coast. I’ve done that long flat stretch so much that it’s just annoying any more. But it was a good group.

Came home after that and did laundry! UGH! Why do I have sooo many clothes. That took like 2 hours then I came home and went and had some wine with Erick and just hung out and watched a movie with him.

Sunday I got up and again headed to Santa Monica for basically the same ride again. Although this time we took the streets instead of the beach path which makes things a little more fun. Plus the UBER hot straight boy was there again. I’m in love with him. hhahaha. We all had breakfast at Good Stuff in Hermosa Beach. All 40 of us. What a freaking mess! They took forever to get peoples orders and the waitress didn’t keep track at ALL of who ordered what, so they were just bringing things out. Well this one guy ordered cinnamon french toast and was brought regular french toast… What a hellish thing to do. Cause he flipped out! He yelled at the manager and then when the waitress did bring out the correct order she had like 5 plates on her arm and his wasn’t the first one. But when he saw her going to other tables he runs up to her and starts to grab the plate way in the back which was his. Of course any mentally competent person could have seen that doing such would have caused her to drop them all. And EVERYONE was screaming at him not to grab them and the manager came over and grabbed him. And this guy has to be in his 60’s! It was a mess! I can’t believe these people.

I followed the hot boys ass all the way home. God it’s amazing. lol. After that I headed to the gym and showered and then over to JC’s for his birthday party and head shaving. We all went to the hair salon and he shaved his head. It was really great fun! From there we headed over to Fiesta Cantina. Where I got very drunk, but had a blast! Chad showed up after basically begging him to skip the gym and offering to make out with him. So we hung out and then this guy Ian came over and started talking to us. Apparently both Chad and I had have been talking to him online. Anyways. he was SOO annoying so we left there and headed to Here and spent the rest of the evening there. It’s really fun though going out now and seeing all these lifecycle people randomly out and about and being able to talk to them.

Anyways, we stayed there till like 10:30 and then headed out and grabbed pizza at the normal place and then headed back to Chad’s house. Where we spent the night making out and talking. 🙂 Lots of fun. I left there at 3am. So I was in West Hollywood from 1pm till 3am! What a freaking day!

So Chad is one of the many guys I went out on a date with last year (Ok, technically it was this year, but whatever). I really enjoyed him when we went out, but after that he got really busy with his frat and I got really busy with lifecycle and we never really got to hang out again. Which is sad, cause he’s a really nice guy and very smart. So I hope after last night we can hang out a lot more now. 🙂 ahha.

Well needless to say, I slept in today. Got up and cleaned my apartment hard core. I just finished that and now I am going to go enjoy the beautiful day at the beach!

BTW. The middle mouse button on my Apple Mighty Mouse is not working and it’s VERY annoying.

Found Camera!

OMG!

So remember the camera I lost a while back?

Well… I JUST FOUND IT!

I was just sitting on the floor pulling stuff out of the bottom of my closet. I pulled out a bag and booom! There it was!

I KNOW I totally emptied that closet completely while I was searching for it! UGH!

So now I have two cameras!? What to do!

BTW. This weekend has been CRAZY! hopefully I will have time to post about it later.

Musicovery. I’ve posted a few sites like this before, but this one is really cool and I’d have to say probably my favorite so far. You select your mood and it gives you songs! 🙂 I saw a rating system for iTunes the other day that did something similar, but it was just to complicated to use.

Strip Steak sandwich. Been out rustling cattle all day? In need of a good hearty meal? Try out this sandwich! Considering how much butter it uses though, you better not eat it too much. But DAMN it looks good right now! BTW: If you _have_ been out rustling cattle all day and are actually reading this and are under 30, totally hit me up. Cause cowboys are HOT! 🙂 haha.

Buy Groceries only once a week!. Everyone knows how much I hate going to to the grocery store. So why not only go once, and make 10 meals for less then $50! I’ll have to give this a try some week! Though honestly, I usually do only go to the grocery store once a week as it is.

Tie Dyed Red Velvet Cheesecake!. I’m totally making myself one of these when I get back from the ride!

The other night I was flipping through channels and came across Hazard Pay on the discovery channel. It really is a pretty cool show, but the guy that hosts it is the biggest drama queen ever! When he lists the hazards of a job. It’s just ridiculous.

As you all probably know, I’ve been talking to Jay for a while now about mortgage stuff, we always keep it strictly business, he’s been a HUGE help in my understanding of mortgages and what’s going on, etc. And I know that once I _DO_ finally find that place that will accept my offer I’ll run it all through him before I sign anything. He hurt me emotionally, but I trust him when it comes to business. I feel like I should thank him somehow, I was thinking about just sending him a gift cert to Peets Coffee and Tea, since he loves it so much. Anyways, the point is that the other night I had this really weird dream about him. We were hanging out again, and he invited me up to his Parents house in the Malibu mountains (btw, I have no idea where his parents actually live, but in my dream it was in the Malibu Mountains…) and it was just beautiful and amazing. Why can’t I find a boy as perfect as the ones in my dreams? haha.

Yes, I know, they don’t exist. And honestly, I think that’s part of my problem. Last Friday when Ben and I were screaming at each other he said: “I will never meet your standard of the perfect guy”. Honestly, I don’t feel that I expect that much out of them. Yes, I do expect something nice. Maybe I was just spoiled by Andrew that now no one else has been able to live up to that? Who knows.

This whole Ben not talking to me thing though has really been tearing me apart this week. I HAVE to pull myself out of this funk before next week though! I can’t be all sad and depressed on the ride. I have to be at my best for it.

Speaking of the ride…. The Reason we ride. It’s so sad that something like this happens. Although she _should_ have known that what she was doing was wrong, technically the industry should have been testing people before hand/etc. This is why we ride.

And in one WEEK from today I will be flying up to San Fran to start my journey! I can’t freaking wait. I’m so scared and excited all at the same time. I still need a place to stay though!!!!! OMG! AND! Oksy is here in LA this week! So I get to hang out with her. I’m excited for that as well.

I’ve mentioned JDub before, but I met this guy over in Germany while I was there, and he’s been living there ever since. Well he recently got deported and moved to Croatia… His latest blogs from there have been making me so jealous. I can’t wait for some of my business plans to start taking shape so I can do the same. I gotta get my business partner to kick it in the ass. I’m tired of waiting! It’s been nearly 6 months since we started this search and we have yet to move on anything. I’ve been seriously thinking about just moving on with the plans without him.

Ok. I’ve got a lot of work to do yet. So I’m out!
