Home DeSHIT!

So last night I started building my Patrol Box. So I went to Home Depot to buy some wood. Of course, I’m a homo, so I don’t really know what wood to get.. My dad always just goes and buys the wood and I build stuff. So I walk in there and start looking around, and I think I find some that will work for what I need, but I just want to double check with someone. So I walk up to the counter in the wood area and ask the guy standing there, “Excuse me, I just have a quick question”

To which he replys, “I’m off” and then walked away. Excuse me bitch! You are STANDING BEHIND THE COUNTER, it’s a quarter to 5, and you are wearing your fucking HD apron. YOU ARE STILL WORKING, you know they don’t have people get off at a quarter to the hour. And even if he really was OFF, or even if he was GETTING off at 5, he could have at least said, “I’ll go find you someone who can help you” Jackass. So I left.

Strange thing, everytime I go to fucking HD or Lowes, my dad always calls me… Very random! I tried asking him if it was the right stuff, but the discription on the thing wasn’t good enough for him to decide for sure.

I went to Lowes then and there was a very nice lady there who said she had no clue either and that she’d find someone who would help, And sure enough she did! So I got my lumber and started cutting it all last night. I have it half done. 😀 Then I’m going to prime it and put it together.

Work yesterday was ok. I’m finishing up all my annoying projects on the SA team before I get too engrossed in the CliOps stuff to get it done. So it was spent with lots of comparing things and updating data and stuff like that.

BTW, I was offered a private office with this promotion, but I’m not sure if I want to take it or not. I’d like the idea of not being stuck in the bull pin anymore, and having the added privacy when talking with clients on the phone. But at the same time, I don’t want to loose the socialness of the cubes. I thikn I’ll just wait and see how things go.

Blake is coming down today to hang out. That’s exciting. We’re going to go and pick out new glasses for me. 🙂

I had my appointment yesterday to get a new priscription. And the lady who did the first half was such a bitch. Like they do this field of vision test and she hands me this thing and is like, “Click this whenever you see one of these boxes.” So they start showing up and I start clicking and then after I do it like 5 times she’s like, “Oh, it’s just warming up, you don’t have to do it now”. The actual doctor lady was really nice and cool. But then I went to pay and since I’m an FB member I’m supposed to get 20% off on the exam, lenses, contacts, and frames. So I go to pay and hand them my FB card and they are like, “This only covers Contacts”. So I try and call the FB HD, but since it was a holiday they were closed. So I have to call them today to figure out what the fuck is up. I’ll be pissed if it really does only cover contacts!

Camping this weekend is still yet undecided as to where to go. I’m thinking Malibu Creek SP or Cuyamaca Rancho SP. I really wanted to hit up Catalina or Channel Islands, but Catalina will cost too much and Channel islands are a little more then what I want to take on right now, since you have to pack EVERYTHING into them.

Boy U!

So… Busy weekend it has been for me.

So Saturday I spent the morning doing laundry and running all those errands, I still didn’t get EVERYTHING that I wanted too, but ended up spending like $200. Blah. Damn needing to buy things!

Came home and cleaned up and that was like 4ish or so. Started talking to Austin and he kept flip-flopping on if he wanted to hang out or not. Looked like we weren’t, so I had a drink and just relaxed at home. About 8ish he decided that he wanted to hang out so he came over. He got a little drunk and I had some drinks and he ended up spending the night cause he couldn’t drive home.

Got up Sunday morning and I made him breakfast then he left cause Robert was coming over for a bike ride. He got there about 9:30 and we headed out to Top of the World. Got there and rode our bikes back up to my house. Total about 10 pretty easy miles really. The downhill was killed though because it was so rough! Drove him back to his car and then I came home and layed around the house for the rest of the day. Fell a sleepin in there somewhere and woke up about 7:30 or something.

Started talking to Austin and he wanted to go to Lucky’s (Aka Boy U). I was reluctant at first but decided it’d be fun to go. So he came over to my house about nine and we sat around and talked till Robert got there. Then we all headed out. I was DD. We got there and stood around the bar. Robert bought the first round of drikns which was nice of him. I had a Martini. 🙂 (This was at like 10pm, so there was plenty of time for it to get out of my system before driving home). Anyways, Felix joined us later and we all had a really good time. Robert apparetnly interrogated Austin about how he feels about me and what it is he wants out of me. Just as I suspsected he likes me a lot, but doesn’t want to commit to anyone.

I also went out dancing with Austin a little bit, which is a BIG thing for me considering Ive only ever danced before at Pride in DM one year with Andrew… That’s because we were at the Garden and the place was so PACKED watching the Drag show that you couldn’t help but dance. But I had a good time. I made him dance with Robert and Filx as well because I didn’t want to keep going out there as much as he did.

We left about 1ish and came home. Robert crashed on my couch and Austin in my bed.

I woke them both up at about 6:30 this morning and then dressed and came into work.

It looks like Austin WILL be coming camping with me this next weekend, which is exciting for me. I just have to decide where we’re going now. lol.

So that’s been my weekend. Adios all!

Austin.. Like?

Hmm..

So I’ll have to admit, I’m really starting to like Austin.

We just have so much in common. Way more then Blake and I, Austin and I are even in the same field. Which is nice. It’s so funny because whenever we talk about going out somewhere, we always order the same thing. We keep wanting to do the same things, IE, I say I want to go somewhere or do something and he’s the same way!

Last night hanging out with him for so long was just so much fun. Cuddling with him all night, holding him while he slept. It was so nice and so cute.

Tonight however, he seems to be off on something, I’m not too sure what. He just is depressed I think. I was really looking forward to hanging out with him. He kept saying, “oh lets do this” and then he’d come up with something else he had to do to not hang out. So now it looks like we aren’t hanging out tonight. I’m really kinda annoyed by this. As he won’t be around for a while now, cause he’s leaving on Monday and he doesn’t know when he’s coming back.

I also was really hoping that we could hang out tonight because I wanted to ask him to come camping with me next weekend. Now i’ll have to find some other time to do it. Hmm.

I dunno what to do about him, between blake and him, he’s obviously the better choice, but if he takes the job in DC he’ll be moving. So it won’t be a very good thing. Plus I don’t want to hurt Blake and cause him to do something stupid.

I just don’t know what to do. 🙁

Good Day!

Wow, so yesterday was just such a great day for me…

So I got the good news, Work was crazy, so much stuff going on. Meetings back to back pretty much. I already had lots of meetings planned, however with the news that added 4 total meetings throughout the day. And one of the meetings, I was asked to go make a major programming change WHILE THEY WAITED, which just added so much more stress, thankfully I completed it in half the time they gave me! Then we had to bounce a server that is hosted up in SM, and when we did it didn’t come back up! So everything went to hell then. When I left they were still trying to find someone that had the right sort of cable to connect to the box and get it started back up. Blah.

Austin came over right after work, as he was already in the area doing an interview with a guy I set him up with. He said that it went well, but that he hated the guy. Which is funny because it’s true, the guy is nice, but he got on my nerves during the interview too. He says he might just take this job in DC if he gets the offer. That’d be sad to havea him leave since I’ve finially made a friend that seems worth keeping!

So he came over, we hung out here and talked about that for like an hour or two. Then we went out and got dinner, it’s really funny because we both seem to always order the same thing. We have a lot of strange things in common. I’m going to invite him camping next weekend. Dinner was good, then we went and rented some movies.. It was hard to pick some out because he has them all on xvid and stuff so we didn’t want to get one that he had, but we also didn’t want to drive back down to his place to get them all. Ended up gettind Duece Big, European one.. And then some scary movie. We watched that one first and it was more funny then scary, the point. Then we went hot tubbing and swimming which was fun! Everyone knows how much I love hot tubbing.

Came back here and we both changed back to our normal clothes then watched the Will & Grace from last night which was pretty funny. I like live tv, they should do more of them like that. lol. Then we cuddled and watched the other movie.. He fell asleep in my arms which was cute. So I woke him up and made him go home, which was about 11:00.

I think this is good, we both aren’t really looking for boyfriends, and we both have lots in common, so I see good things for this friendship. He has however grabbed my ass jokingly some. And I his, it’s very nice and firm. lol. It’ll suck though if he does move out to DC.

So, randomly Myke (we all remeber him right?) IMed me the other night as well. Very random, being the same fucking Myke, takes forever to respond, etc. What a wierdo.

AND lastly (on the topic of frineds), Andrew and I are apparently not friends anymore. He’s officially deleted me from his LJ friends list. Whatever jackass.

Today I have lots to do. I’m doing laundry now, then my bathroom needs a good scrubbing. Then I’ve got to go out shopping, I need the following:

Remainder of camping gear (Dutch oven, Cooler, etc).

New Glasses.

Fabric for pillows and pillow inserts.

Food!!

Incense (Which I can only find in one place in SJC).

Bike shopping.
