Private: The Return

It’s been a long and really emotional weekend for me.

Friday night was Little Shop of Horrors. I got to Dusin’s about 5ish, and traffic getting there was hell. Set up the stuff that I had brought and he cleaned up his apartment. He wouldn’t stop talking though and clean, so it took him forever. We were 30 minutes late getting out of there.

Got to the theater and I just stood around waiting for everyone to get there. The play it self was really good. I enjoyed it.

After that was the after party at the theater. He talked to like everyone and we didn’t get out of there till 11:10, when we should have been out of there by 10:45. Got back to his place and it took me forever to find parking.

The party was fun. Lots of random people there. Joel, Jon, Ryan and I just all hung out on the couch and talked. People ate my food, but not as much of it as they should have. Went to bed at like 3:00 and got up Saturday morning about 9.

Went home and cooked the dinner for Dustin and I. Had just finished at 1, when Dustin was supposed to have been getting there. However he called and said he was JUST LEAVING. So he was again, 30 minutes late. As soon as he got there we left for the theater in Laguna Beach. Got there and ssaw Last Easter. Horrible production! Absolutely horrible.

After that we walked down to the beach and looked around and then went up to Top of the world where we ate dinner. Went back to my house and he left. I went to sleep and got up about 10:15ish.

Headed over to Joel’s and hung out with the boys till Dustin got there…. 15 minutes late this time. ONce he got there we all headed down to the Boom.

Austin was there, I really did not enjoy seeing him again. Although I was very pleasent towards him. He was being VERY touchy feely with Joel and Jon. I do not like him being in my group of friends at all. But alas, I cannot tell them who they can and can’t be friends with. Austin and I are also meeting today, we shall see how that goes. I’m a bit nervous for it.

Got home about 3 again from the boom and went to bed. Got up about 10 sunday morning and showered and then drove dusin back to his car. He left and I spent the rest of the day lounging around my apartment and starting the packing process.

Sunday was SUPPOSED to have been a whole day to hang out with him. But as the weekend grew on, he suddendly had more and more things to do. It was very annoying. When he left Sunday morning we had plans still, A movie and then Sunday night line up on FoX. He was supposed to call me to let me know what time he was leaving work, but he never did.

So, as you can probably tell, I’m a bit annoyed with him. He was late for everything this weekend, and then completely ditched on the plans for sunday. Ugh.

Either way, I got pretty damn emotional as I was getting ready for bed last night. Just seeing all my shit being packed away, and all my empty walls, and knowing that I have no where to live. I just don’t know what to do.

It all about the Cheese!

Ok, so I LOVE flavored cheese… You know, like Roasted Tomato and Garlic chesse, stuff like that. I usually don’t eat much of it though, because well, it’s bad for you and expensive.

But today I went out looking for some. I bypassed my normal places, Vons and Ralphs because I knew they didn’t have what I wanted.

So I go to three other grocery stores and NONE of them have the cheeses I like! 5 stores, not a one good cheese!?! WTF? This is supposed to be the place where you can get ANYTHING! Right?

So why is it that I can go to my mom&pop grocery store in Iowa and have a HUGE selection of flavored cheese and NOT HERE IN CALI!??!

Grrr.

Anyone know a specialty cheese store in the area?

Today I’ve done 649 lines of code and 21594 chars… I think it’s time to go home! 🙂

I’m so excited for tonight!

I want to get a shotgun rack for my car. Yesterday it took me an hour to get from SM to LB @2pm! People were being SO STUPID!

I Hate IE!

Ugh. I hate it, I hate it, I hate it! Why can’t fucking M$ follow standards?!

I’m trying to code these sites for people. I use Safari and Firefox to test all my sites. They look great in those browsers. I try and verify everything against the code validator site, and usually do a pretty good job with it. But then!

I go and use IE, and it looks like shit! There’s borders all the way around things, when the CSS clearly states there should only be a border-bottom! The font sizes are all fucked up, and it’s not using the default font that I tell it to use! Ugh, this is so annoying!

There are standards for a reason people! Learn to use them!

More work drama… Yesterday as I was getting ready to leave the VP came into my office and told me not to sign any leases till things are decided on. Ugh! I’ve got like 2 weeks to find a place to live!

Me: hi?

Austin: Hi! I asked wassup?

Me: hanging with the boy.. you?

Me: So why are you contacting me after more then a month?

Austin: Howve you been? What’s new?

Me: I have been excellent… And yourself?

Austin: I been good

Me: Good to hear, so why are you contacting me now?

Austin: Met ur friends at the boom. thought i’d drop a hello. are you better now?

Me: What do you mean, am I better now?

Austin: Are we cool to be friends?

Me: You are the one who said… “I will call you when I want to hang out” and then never called. You are the one who blocked me on AIM. You are the one who didn’t reply to me when I tried wishing you a happy birthday. So you tell me?

Austin: Is that a no

Me:I never stopped wanting to be… You are the one who cut me out. You need to realize when people want to be your friend and treat them like that.

Austin: I said no more IMing.. because it was getting to be too much to deal with

Me: to much? you are just an idiot who doesn’t understand what a friendship means. Clearly you still haven’t learned.

Austin: Ok then thanks for answering my question.

Me: Learn how to treat your friends and then you can talk.

Austin: This idiot won’t bother you anymore

NextDay:

Austin: Let’s just get along… WE both did things that pissed each other off.

Me: Um. What exactly did I do?

Austin: Look if you wanna be friends its yes or no. We can continue to being like this, but I think it’s stupid.

Me: Austin, you cut me off suddenly with no reson. Now all of a sudden you want to be friends again? I want to know why?

Austin: Omg, you could have called me anytime, but you never did. All i said was I was tired of fighting online. I wanna be friends because….Without the drama, there were times that we got along and had fun.

Me: I didn’t call because you said YOU would call me. Yes, there were lots of fun times… So we can try friends again, but the first time you start putting me down again, I am gone. I don’t need you telling me I’m boring and such a horrible person.

Ok, so yes. I did get a little rude there at the end, but I’m sorry. He was taking literaly 12 hours to reply to each thing, and I was sick of it. What the fuck did he want.

Like I said, he cut ME out. I have no reason to want to be his friend again right now.

Plugin Number 3!

Hey all! I finished plugin number 3! Well actually it’s been done for a while, I’ve just been lazy.

This one is called. “Partial Private Post”. Basically it allows you to make just a part of a post private. IE, if you wanted to say: “So and so is a total fucking jack ass”. But that clearly doesn’t warrant a WHOLE entry. So you can just encapsulate it in [private]This is some private text. [\private]

Then if you are logged in, it will show you the private text in RED. If you’re not logged in, it will show “[Private text has been removed]”. Pretty fun, eh?

Also, in other news. I’ve updated my theme some more. Fixed a few of the bugs. If you are getting a “Content Holder is empty” error for anything, just add www to the address. IE use: http://www.cjbonline.org

Speaking learning stuff. I had an interview today for a job that I’ve already spent a year doing for the SAME company I’m working for now. However now they are telling me that my skill are too diverise, so I’m not qualified for the job… Umm, someone explain? Hopefully JP will knock some sense into these people and I’ll be moved back to that team. Cause that’s where I want to be!

Apartment hunting is still sucking. Looked in Long Beach today and found some nice places, but NO ONE to show them! Bastards.

Dustin and I are good. Hung out with him at the theater last night. The set and everything looks amazing for Little Shop of Horrors! I can’t wait to see it on Friday. Then we’re seeing Last Easter on Saturday and I have a little something special planned for after. 🙂 After my special thing he’s going to go see LSOH again, and then we’re hanging out Sunday.

I don’t think I want him in my life though. He’s the one who said, “I’ll call you when I want to hang out again” and then blocked me on AIM and never called. Whatever.
