ME!

On this wonderfull day of me turning 21, we take a nice look back in time.

Rainy Season??

I think mother nature must be confused as to wether it’s Spring or Fall… It’s been raining the last two days and it’s supposed to rain again tomorrow. Rarr! I rode my bike to school yesterday. At 7:15 it was nice and fairly sunny. When I got out of my class at 8:30, it was still nice, so I went to the basement of Carver and worked while I waited for my 12:00 class in Carver. I went upstairs to my class, and what do you know, but it’s POURING down rain. I was like, SHIT! I hope it stops before I have to go to work. We got out early, and it wasn’t raining, so I was like. YES! Perhaps I can get there before it start again. So off on my bike I go… I get to Elwood and 16th, and it starts POURING rain. I was like SHIT SHIT SHIT! By the time I got to work, I was sooooo very wet. it was not a fun time.

Other than that, not much else happened yesterday.

Adam’s officially gone, I beleive he left about 8:30, they should almost be to Phoenix by now. I hope that he looked out and saw the cool clouds from above… That’s one of my favorite things, is flying when it’s raining out… That and flying at Sunset/Sunrise. Both are so VERY cool!

Well, I’m going to go read shit before my next class. So laters! Hope everyone’s having a great time!

Peddle, Peddle, Peddle…

So I got up this morning, wondered around and did random stuff and then went off to class this was 7:15, I was on time. I got to campus, and went to lock my bike up and realized that I didn’t have my bike lock. This was at 7:30, I have an 8’o clock class. I rode home… as fast as I could. I was there by 7:35, I had turned a normally 15 minute ride into a 5 minute ride… Just as I was getting there, the last bus was pulling away from the bus stop, so I could no longer ride that back to campus. So I ran upstairs, ot my lock and made it back to campus by 7:50. Whew!

That’s been my day so far…

I’m going to call in sick to work tomorrow. I really want to go to that Linux Security thing, and maybe I’ll stay after and ask how the hell you set up SMPT Auth. It’s so confusing. I also need help with LDAP, so if you know anything about either of those… Drop me a line.

I e-mailed my advisor yesterday about information on the Information Assurance Masters that ISU offers… It looks really interesting, so I’m thinking about maybe going for my masters after I get out, or something like that. We’ll see how things go. I’d like to get more then one Degree under my belt before going out into the “real world” but I don’t think that’s going to happen.

I have to get to class, so another update will come laters.

Where do they all go??

So I’m here at 7:30 am this morning, riding my bike to class. And I start wondering to myself… .Where do all these people go during the summer? I mean really, classes are out and all I know, but even during the winter, there’s never this many people out and about, especially at 7:30 am. So yeah… This time of year is really nice for seeing all the people out and about on campus… Perhaps tomorrow I’ll bring my camera to campus and take pictures during the time that I have inbetween classes.

I saw Ryan Fernau (sp) today on campus as well, it was so funny cause he was uing a Cy-Ride map to get around campus, instead of the very nice campus map that they give people (and which he was holding in his other hand, but not using) He was over be Gilman, walking towards MB, asking people where the MU was… I wanted to just break down laughing, cause that’s totaly something he would be doing. What a dumb ass…. I also saw him the other day marchinng with the ISU Marching band… I’d hate to be the person in front of him… lol

So yeah, other then that not much else has happened lately. We had a test in my Stat 201 class this morning, of which I only did about 3 of the 15 problems… I’m going to have to look into some stuff before we get into the core of the class. Now I’m just hanging out tell my 12 noon recite class… I wonder what we’re going to be doing, considering we haven’t yet covered anything in the class?

Sorry, I was amused by it.. Perhaps it’s one of those things that you have to be there for it.

Anyhow, I’m going to go now, people are starting to look at me funny.

The Quest

So this weekend has been TONS of fun, Friday night I met up with Adam, Scott, Bruce and two females. We hung out there for a while and then Mike, Andrew, Dustin, and Jenny all showed up… I guess they we having “private” going away party for Dustin. Whatever, eh?

Well anyways, it was just going to be us three, Scott, Adam and I going dancing so Adam and I were like, fuck this shit, and wanted to leave. But Scoot BEGGED so we went anyhows. It was alright.

We left there about 12:00 and on our way home passed James… I guess he was going to Statik as well… To bad, it would have been fun to hang out with him there. lol

So we went back to Ankeny where we picked up some shit for him and then we went to Wal-Mart cause I wanted a pitcher. So we get there and then Adam’s like I want Bakon and Eggs… That had to have been the FUNNIEST thing I’ve seen in forever. Two gay guys with $8 wondering around Wal_Mart trying to get Bakon and Eggs at 1:30 in the morning. lol. So we got back to my Apartment and Adam was like, “I don’t want bakon and eggs now” So instead we make Ramen Noodles, which were good anyways. lol

We finally got to bed at like 2:30… We awoke the next morning, made our bakon and eggs and then went to work at Budget.. That was good times. I make $37.50 which I needed because we also stopped and purchased my Calc book… $85 for a DAMN BOOK!

After we were done at Budget we went back to my house and I showered then we went to Adam’s house and he showered, then we went out to supper… Mmmm.

After that we called up James cause I haven’t seen him in like forever and we all went back to my house and went swimming… Well we were going to go swimming, but the pool was all nasty, so we just went hot tubbing for like an hour and a half. I also lost a contact in the hot tub. So I wasn’t going to drive with just one eye..

Adam called his mom to make sure it was alright for him to stay at my house and she got all pissy and didn’t beleive that I had actually lost a contact. Rarr.

So he spent the night and then today I drove him home, it was very scary with just one eye. And then I came back to Ames, where I am now at… Doing absolutely nothing… I figure I’ll go put away laundry here and then go on a bike ride or something. Maybe I’ll go buy a seat lock or something cool like that, lol.
