Lost CC, Apartment and Work!

Another looooong weekend with a lot of hassle!

So let’s see. Friday night I came home and did nothing.

Saturday I got up at 5:00am, drove out to the valley and met up with Jerry, JoEric, Ally and some other guy. We were all going to go do some canyoneering that day. Found the place with no problems, sadly there was no water, but it was still some GREAT canyoneering! Got done with that part about 11:30. and then we tried to hike out! What a mess that was! We could NOT find the way out! The directions said to follow the stream bed to the second road crossing. Well we NEVER found the road crossing! The stream bed just kept winding back and forth. Finally after about 2 hours of hiking trying to find the damn thing I just started climbing UP the side walls of the canyon. It was about 200 feet, straight up, of nothing but sand and dirt! So every time you took a step you would fall backwards about 3 feet! It was a mess.

I made it to the top and threw a rope down to the rest of the people so they could use the rope to pull themselves up! Got everyone up except jerry who was having a really tough time! He was breathing hard, low O2, high altitude, HOT and little water the whole day. We were all pretty beat! By the time we got Jerry up, Ally and gang had to leave, so I drove him back to his car. He got there, unlocked it and then basically collapsed next to the car. I poured water over him, made him drink tons and then we sat there for an hour and a half waiting for him to be able to see enough that he could drive! Scary! There were a couple times where I looked over and swore he wasn’t breathing any more! I about freaked out!

So after that we drove down the canyon to McDonalds where I left Jerry to continue recovering and headed to Coffee Bean for a HUGE water and a drink (by this point I hadn’t eaten for over 8 hours and hadn’t drank anything in over 4 hours!) So I order myself some stuff with my ING bank card, put it in my back pocket and walk out. Drive back to RB, check out an apartment (walked all over looking at it) then drove home, showered, changed, walked up to Trader Joes to get groceries for the week. Went to pay with my ING bank card and it was GONE! So I try paying with my Principal bank Debit card, DECLINED, tried paying with my Principal bank CC, Declined! I end up having to pay with my American Express card.

I walk home with my food, dig out my Principal card and call the “24-hour customer service hotline” that is listed on the back of the card. “I’m sorry, we’re only open from 7am-7pm Central time”. Well that’s CLEARLY not 24 hour now is it!?

So then I call ING and they cancel my card and then tell me it will be 3-5 business days to get my new card. Great! But not a big deal because I figured the problem with Principal was just a minor issue that could be quickly fixed.

I eat dinner, watch some Dick Van Dyke and then go to bed. Got up Sunday at 5am and called into Principal on my way up to Malibu to go rock climbing! AT LAST I get to climb at Malibu! I was sooo excited!

Principal basically tells me that they mailed out a notification that they were going to cancel my card. I don’t recall ever getting that notification. UGH! So long story short, even though I now have TWO banks, I am LOCKED out of both bank accounts! Redic!

I was even contemplating putting the deposit on that new apartment! I am not sure what to do about that place. I really like the idea of having my own whole apartment and lawn and everything, but it small, and hasn’t been updated at all! UGH! But it has a garage! And it’s cute! I think I’ll do it, but I’m still not sure.

Get to Malibu, spend my ONLY remaining cash I have on parking and then WAIT for an HOUR for JoEric to show up so that we can do the climb setup. Jerry was late because of the whole mess the day before, I told JoEric to BE ON TIME, but of course he wasn’t. So I got pretty pissed about that.

They got there, we setup, Jerry showed up and we started climbing. There was HUGE group out there that day, I REALLY wanted to climb.. And then, I got a call. From the office. Our network is down. I do some remote trouble shooting, call Speakeasy, they verify something is not working. So I have to go onsite to look. I get here and the Edge device has NO POWER. I swap power cables and everything and nothing works. So I call Speakeasy back, who then has to call XO who then calls Verizon to get a tech out here. I wait an hour for the Tech to show up, who was out Surfing, he plays with it and decides the damn thing is busted. Drives to downtown LA only to find out there are NO backup devices in the LA area. So they have to have one shipped out!

Here it is 24 hours later and we’re STILL waiting for an ETA on getting this resolved! This is just crazy that they have left a customer out in the cold for THIS long!

And that was MY Sunday. What was supposed to have been an amazing day of climbing out at the beach turned into a day of me sitting around the office WAITING for people to get figured out! Ugh. Went home after that, watched more Dick Van Dyke, hung out at home and did nothing much really.

So this weekend, I’ve been oddly missing Morgan… Obviously it’s because he’s such a crazy cool guy! lol. But anyways, Daniel has been pissing me off lately as well. He’s just been acting crazy as hell this week. It’s time to end it. He was only ever meant to be a boy toy anyways so now it’s a little out of control, and his attitude has been annoying lately. IE Yesterday he was like, “It’s to hot to do anything, I’m just going to stay home”. What a lame excuse! Ugh.

So yes, that’s my weekend, this week I feel is going to be lousy. We shall see!

Yosemite July 4th!

What a weekend! I only wish every weekend were like this one!

Morgan came over Wed night and we hung out with Sirin. He crashed on my couch for the night. Got up EARLY on Thrusday, packed up the car and then headed out to Yosemite. Made a few stops, one in Mojave to see where everyone was, then another at Erik Schat’s Bakkery in Bishop, CA. I’ve talked about this place before and I love it! 🙂 Yum yum. Everyone caught up with us here and we decided to all head out to Bodie, CA. Great times were had by all there as well.

From there we headed out to the meadows! I couldn’t wait to get there and was so excited to finally get into the park. It was an amazing site to see coming over the pass into the park.

Once everyone was in the park on Thursday night a few of us took a short walk to try and find this pool that I was hoping for, however we had some troubles finding it. Got back to camp just after night fall and made some delicious walking taco dinners! It was a pretty chill night and everyone was really excited for the next morning!

Friday morning we all woke up. I got everyone up by 7, but we STILL didn’t leave camp till 9am! Got off onto our little hike to Waterwheel falls! It was a great hike out there though the meadows, down into Glen Aulin and then on into the Grand Canyon of the Toulomne river! Absolutely beautiful! We were pretty slow on the way out there but reallly booked it on the way back. Ended up doing 24 miles in one day!

Got back to camp, loaded up the car and headed out to those whirlpools again. This time we found them! Everyone hung out, jumped in, had a great time and watched the sun set a bit. Headed back to camp later after that, made some delicious dinner and had some great wine!

Saturday we all got a late start, then headed off to go climbing, couldn’t find it to start with and were about ready to head back to the car when we ran into a great family of people who had a book. Together we were able to find the bolts we needed and did some great climbing! Got done with that at 3, headed back to camp, had lunch and then just lounged around for the evening.

I think that everyone had a great time this trip and it was an interesting group! We had Will K, Steve W, Morgan M, JoEric M, Sirin T, Kathe N, and Bill D.

Infact, this was my first time meeting Morgan, minus a small dinner a couple nights before. And holy jesus! This guy is awesome! I think I have a crush!

Doctors Visits

UGH. So I hate the doctor. Went to a dermatologist for the rash thing and sure enough I have the same skin infection that Daniel does. Thankfully it’s easily treatable with anti-biotics. But it’s just annoying because he claims that his doctor says you can’t transfer it!

So not much else really going on. This past weekend was busy with car stuff and what not, went paint balling on Sunday with the group. It was 130 degrees in the desert! Insane!

I am very excited for the camping trip this weekend! Yay!

That’s about all I really want to say right now… When I get back next week, it will have been 1 year of working with GTC! Amazing!

Uprising at work!

Sorry, I suck so badly at updating lately. But this week I have been running around with my head chopped off!

Things at the office are horrible. The boss is controlling this project right into the ground. None of the customers are loaded correctly into the system, the sales people came to training one day and had HUGE uprising, all of them went to talk to Chris right away. Victor of course invited himself to that meeting, he walked in and STOOD right across the table from the CEO. The CEO said, “Vic, why don’t you have a seat” and he said, “I fight better standing up”.

UMM, Excuse me! You are not fighting, we are here to have a discussion about the progress of the software. UGH. OF course they stated telling how they saw it and Vic wouldn’t even let them finish, he kept cutting everyone off. And then when they tried to talk again, he would say, “Let me finish what I was saying”.

The marketing director was in the meeting too and she complained that the item list was a MESS and the two of them got into a huge fight over it. He ended the meeting saying, “OK, I’ll let you do it then”. This was on TUESDAY He has YET to send her any information on how to do the load, change items, etc.

The marketing director also just had a meeting with the “trainers” today and we apparently didn’t purchase ANY of the marketing functionality within Navision. UGH.

So yes, I have been getting tons of heat from that all week from everyone. I’m the one who pushed this huge project. I promised it would be better then PPRO, but here my Boss has ruined the whole fucking thing.

Last weekend, I’m sure was tons of fun. I know we did the meet n greet lunch with all the camping people, went rock climbing and got my ass kicked by some guy who forced me to keep doing this one thing over and over and over again! Very hard stuff. Came home, did stuff, what not. U know the drill.

This weekend is going to be expensive! New tires, oil change, hair cut, buying food for the camping trip, etc.

I’m not sure what to do with Daniel. I quite enjoy hanging out with him, but lately he’s been getting on my nerves. Plus the whole no money to do anything thing. I just don’t know and I don’t really like his whole sexual history avoidance. He went and got an STD test yesterday. I got one today. \

Speaking of my doctor is a freaking IDIOT! I have a very very itchy rash or something on my leg. He looked at it, said, “I don’t see anything” and then moved on. Well IT’S A FUCKIN ITCH! OF course you don’t see anything. You can’t SEE itch! Then I told him I wanted biopsies of some moles since I had not noticed them before. He just said, “You don’t need to worry about those”. So when I die of skin cancer, someone please sue this asshole!

Ugh. So then I got my STD test. Daniel said that his doctor took three viles of blood, did swabs, and urine. Mine just did urine and one vile of blood. So I am concerned he is not checking for EVERYTHING like I told him to!

I cannot wait for Yosemite.

We have a cute blond software programmer guy going. I met him for the first time last night and we went to vegan food. He was fun, but since I am exclusive with Daniel I told him I was IAR.

PS. Michael Jackson is dead.

IAR

Is that like OAR? lol.

Anyways, so I’ve been sucking at updating. I have things to do!

This past weekend was tons of fun. Friday I can’t recall what I did, Saturday the group went out to Mt Baldy and did some canyoneering again. It was FUCKING FREEZING! We were avoiding getting wet as much as possible, but the last waterfall there as no way out of it, you had to get SOAKED. Everyone was huddling under a space blanket at the end. lol.

After that we went out to eat then I came home and took a nap.

SUnday was rock climbing, tons of fun again. As per usual. Nothing interesting to report. Came home right after that and did some random stuff. Daniel came over that night and spent the evening.

Monday, Tuesday, Wed work! Ran into Erick at Trader Joe’s then he came and read my blog. Random.

Tuesday ran into Jason on bike ride then Wed I had to follow him home. Very strange. Why are all these old people running into me lately. Next I’ll run into Constantine somewhere random. UGH.

I need money and new apartment. Got into fight with neighbor in person. He’s a fucking CRAZY mo-fo! Landlord said if it doesn’t stop he will “evict somebody”. Idiots. I need a new place to live!

Daniel came over again last night, ended up spending the night.

Work today. We “go-live” in just over a week. Nothing is ready, nothing has been tested, no one has been using the system nothing! It’s all very annoying.

We have training NEXT week, then we go live on Wed morning, then Friday is a vacation day! WTF who planned this BS! NONE of the import/export processes have been tested. I think I should be sick next week.

Adios!
