Stupid Bitch

So, yesterday Adam called me at work and said he had a present for me…. It was a cute little kitten. However, since I can’t have animals at my apartment and it’s $100 fine PER DAY, I didn’t want to take the chance. So I said, lets call my mom. We called her and explained the whole story… She said she’d keep it and take care of it. So we took it over there and hung out and she played with it for like an hour before we left. She said she’d keep it.

I was all excited cause we had a new cat and everything, and it was fun times… Well about 46 minutes ago we arived at my house, and went into the living room, asked where the kitten was… She got this horrid look on her face and said that Connie, my aunt, had come with my cousins and they had taken the cat. Cause they “latched onto it” I was fumming with anger. I wanted so badly to jump on her and punch her and scream… WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU!

First of all, we called you. NOT them to take care of it. If you didn’t want the damn cat, then you should have said so on the phone. Second, you don’t just go and give it away. I wanted to keep the cat, it was cute and I wanted a cat. GRRR! Stupid bitch.

So, on a better note. Last night sucked, we went out and there wasn’t anyone around… No one was even going to go to Java Joes so that we could hang out before they went to the club. GRR at that.

So Adam and I said screw this and went back to my apartment.. Well we stopped at his house first and made salsa. Then we went back to my apartment. WE ate and talked and had a good time. It was lots of fun. We also stayed up tell like 3am linuxifing his computer. It was great times.

This morning I got up at like 8 and Adam opted to sleep more, so I went in and worked more on his computer. Then we had to meet my dad’s boss in Des Moines, so we drove there and went to work on his computer. That was alright. While we were there we decided to re-linuxify his computer…. It looks like we’re going to have to re-do it yet again. lol

After three hours at his house, and sitting there waiting for his computer to do a virus check, we left to go to Perry… which is a LONG fucking way from Altoona, which is pretty much where we were!

We went to Perry and that was fun, we fixed her computer in no time flat, and I made $20, so that was good! After that we hung out and she gave me some plants and some cute litte candle holders… She also gave me this CUTE throw blanket thing. It’s so cute!

From there we went back to my house and found out the horrid news. Which now has me in a REALLY pissy mood, STUPID BITCH! Gwar!

It looks like I”ll have to go back to my dad’s bosses house tomorrow and shit to finish fixing his computer….

I’m out now…. I want to go out tonight though. So we’ll see.

It’s alright….

So the last 3 days have just totaly sucked. I mean, the apartments great. I’ve got my own place, I can do what I want, when I want it. I’ve been excercising some lately as well, 20 sit ups and then 10 push ups and then 10 minutes on the ab-roller thing… I dunno if it’s actually working, but my whole upper body is sore as hell. I wanna be a hot bitch!

Works been alright, Nazanin’s laid off on some of the crazie ideas, except last night….

Today the Dell man came to fix the server, a production server, one that CAN’T be down, or someone loses thier job… We didn’t have a backup server for it at 5:45 last night. I leave at 6. So I said, alright, and went to work on the machine that she told me to REFORMAT and install windows and set it up to server 10 websites! Now, if you’ve ever tried installing windows, you know that it’s like a 2 hour process… on a GOOD machine, the one that she wanted to use was a POS! So I said SCREW this at like 5:50 and just set up the websites on my computer between 5:50 and 6:00. I was out only 5 minutes late. So yeah, stress! Much other shit happened today which stressed me the hell out, but whatever.

So yeah, being away from everyone’s really sucked though. Adam hasn’t been online for like 3 days. He’s finally online tonight and it’s good to talk to him.

Very stressful. I want to be out and about, but I don’t know anyone here in Ames, and I can’t just go out on my own and find people to hang out with. Gwar. I hate this life.

On a better note, the guy across the hall is hot… But appears to have a gf, so that sucks.

Tomorrows the last day of class!! I must go study now. Love!

So it starts

Last night leaving was kinda hard… It’s starting already, the weekends together, and the weeks apart. It’s depressing. But we made it though last year, so we’ll make it through this year as well. It was hard though to leave last night.

Today, I haven’t really done much. I went to class and then went to work. It was very amusing actually. We had our weekly tech meeting…. Like I said yesterday Vermont got totally fucked up… So Nazanin wants to recreate what happened that night. Her suggestion: “Why don’t we just pull the power and then plug it back in and pull the power” all done repeatedly. Chris and I were like “HELL NO!” You know how bad that is on the power supply and the RAID and everything else in the damn computer… That got quite the argument going about things. So yeah, it was amusing as hell.

We also got the gigabit cards in for the servers… everything’s going to have dual gigabit here soon. Once we get drivers for Linux……

Tonight I came home and I watched that damn Real World Movie… That was the BIGGEST waste of two hours that I have ever seen!! GARR!

Alright, I’m out to watch the news or soemthing… I love high speed internet!

First Night… It’s starting agin

So today has been very eventfull. I went to class… Ok that part wasn’t eventfull. Then I went to work… apparently we had power outages from 2:30 this morning to about 7:50 this morning. Which had drained the batteries on Vermont….. which therefore caused problems when power would be restored and then we would have an outage again within 3 minutes… because during those three VERY critical minutes it verifies the RAID and if you cancel that out, it fucks things up ROYALY! So yeah, Vermont wouldn’t come up right.. and then when we did get it to come up.. the date was off, which took us a while to realize, so everyone’s mail was dated, 11/24/65 it was odd. lol

After we got all that fixed the rest of the day at work was very uneventfull. But then I went back to Ankeny for the GLRC. Melinda (Adam’s mom) really liked my hair, I’m glad. Cause out of everyone, she would have been the one to hate it… Barb also liked it. lol. Then we went off to group, which was fun and very eventfull like always. I have a feeling that nothing’s going to get accomplished for this float… I wish I could see it on Wed, but I just can’t.

After that we all went to Java Joe’s. Mike showed up there and Dustin was there as well. They talked and it’s good to see them talking more and working out the problems between them. I don’t like to have friend fighting, etc cause it’s always to hard to plan things… You’re like “well if we invite this person, then we can’t invite so and so cause they hate each other.” GRRR! I hate that.

So yeah, we left there about 10 and I came back here.. It’s good times. I’m off to bed though cause I’m dead tired. Night!

The new digs

So… Last night I was getting ready to take a shower, so that Adam and I could hang out here for my first night… I got the water to the temp that I wanted and turned the knob to go to the shower head. No water… So I turn it back and forth again and I got a little water… but not ANY WHERE near enough to take a shower… So I said “Fuck this” and was going to take a bath… turn the knob to plug the drains, and it fell off the wall..

So after much confusion we left to my house to swim. After swimming we spent the night at my house… Which I really didn’t want to do, since I now have my own damn apartment to sleep at. But we stayed there and hung out.

Today we got up and showered and shit… Then we went and got hair bleaching stuff… I required 5 opinions before I actually bleached it though, cause I didn’t know if it would be good or not. So we asked people… two of which we’re random people.

They all said it’d be cool. So we went off to do it. I was scared that it wouldn’t be good.

After it was done I freaked cause it’s totaly not what I’m used to… But everyone said it was good… Then we wend and got it cut.

The hair cutter guy was an ass.

After that I came back to Ames. I’ve been doing homework all night… It’s boring and I want someone else here…. You know though, even though I now have my own place, and shit… I’ve realized that I still close the door when I change and go to the bathroom. It’s wierd. lol.

So now I’m done with HW and I’m getting ready for bed. It’s lightening and thundering out and I’m scared…. Adam won’t come up and comfort me… ::sobs:: I want someone to spend my first night with me here. ::crys::

I’m going to go now before something bad happens to my computer…
