Spamming Comments

I’ve been getting hit HARD with spamming comments lately. So if I’m down at any point, assume I either killed something, or am upgrading to take care of spammers. Fuck you all. (Since midnight I’vve received over 300 spam comments.

Anyways. Been busy mad studying for my test lately. I’ve finally started to get into the 90% range on the practice tests… I dunno if that means I’m finaly learning the material, or if I’ve just finally memorized all the test question answers. Either way. Retake on Wed or Thursday. I ‘m going to talk to Daemon today when he comes in and see if he can recommend somewhere good. I really don’t want to go back to IVC.

Builds tonight are going ok. However for some reason it deployed to italy-staging-eng, but failed when deploying to italy-staging-it… Hopefully it doesn’t fail on any of the real QA sites cause that would suck ass. It’s been uploading for about 1 hour 40 minutes, so another 1.5 hours before I get to start deploying it to the QA sites. They added 2 more to the list as well, which means it’ll take about an hour longer then it used too.

Found out tonight that Andrew dated Dan for a whole 5 days. We also had a good talk about lots of things and good old times. We’re going to start doing a lot of the things that we said we’d do before I moved here… More weekend trips, more outings and adventures. So I’ll probably be around a lot less on the weekends.

I’ve got my computer set to record the price is right. That’s REALLY exciting. I recoreded yesterdays to make sure it was all set up, and then before I left I started the conversion process from a NUV to a Divx file, so that way I can burn it to CD and distribute copies to people who want to see it.

Not too much else going on in my life. Like I said, lots of studying and lots of practice test taking.

I found this REALLY cool site yesterday called They Rule it links all the top executives of US coporations to all the other corps around and also to government bodies. It’s really really cool. IT was neat to find out that Apple is one of a VERY VERY small number of corporations who’s Board of directors doesn’t sit on any other board or government organization. Flight Sim enquiry raises terror alert

A mother’s enquiry about buying Microsoft Flight Simulator for her ten-year-old son prompted a night-time visit to her home from a state trooper.

Julie Olearcek, a USAF Reserve pilot made the enquiry at a Staples store in Massachusetts, home to an earlier bout of hysteria, during the Salem witch trials.

So alarmed was the Staples clerk at the prospect of the ten year old learning to fly, that he informed the police, the Greenfield Recorder reports. The authorities moved into action, leaving nothing to chance. A few days later, Olearcek was alarmed to discover a state trooper flashing a torch into to her home through a sliding glass door at 8:30 pm on a rainy night.

Olearcek is a regular Staples customer and schools her son at home. The Staples manager simply explained that staff were obeying advice. Shortly before Christmas, the FBI issued a terror alert to beware of drivers with maps, or reference books.

At one time it was rare to find US citizens, in the safest and most prosperous country in the world, jumping at their own shadows. Now we only note how high.

So since I don’t think I ever posted it before, here’s my schedule for next semester…

The Yellow shaded area is where I’ll be working at Krell. I haven’t yet decided if I want to come in Friday afternoons yet. They want me to, so I probably will. We’ll have to see.

Yesterday I got my Cover Letter finished and a few other things done with that stuff. I’ve applied to 51 jobs now. And have mailed two follow up’s. The rest will go out sometime in the next few days. I think the week of the 26th I’ll start doing call backs. Maybe earlier. I want to give them plenty of time, but not enough to forget about who I am. So I’ll have to see about it all. I really just want to get interviews set up for the time that I’m out there. April 5-9, because I don’t want to go out there and get an apartment and not have anything else done. Hopefully everything will come into place.

After work, I went home. Expecting Andrew, Courtney and Katie to all be there, and then I’d make supper, and we’d have a good old time.

But after spending 35 minutes in Hy-Vee, because some idiot didn’t know how to run the register (I had already checked out and had to stand there for like 20 minutes before she got me a reciept to sign), I got home and they weren’t there. I was pretty damn annoyed really. Especially since I had asked him to call me if the plans were going to change any, which they obviously did, and I didn’t get any phone call. I called him and he said it’d be like an hour, which annoyed me even more. Because now I had to make them all supper by myself. I was just annoyed.

Anyways, they all got there just as supper was getting ready and we ate, then sat around and had a pretty good time. We watched TV and did about nothing else.

After they caught the 9:53 bus, Andrew and I sat around and talked and didn’t really do anything. I was really exhausted last night, and was in pain from my knee and muscles. I feel better today though.

This morning so far, I’ve spelt in, had a real breakfast, showered, shaved, came to work, applied to a few more jobs (the supply has been dwindling lately), and now I’m getting ready to go to the staff meeting… Which is where I should head now, it’s time.

Yep… My weekended ==’s boring!!

Friday I didn’t really do anything, ran home to get my cell phone bill. Got REALLY pissed off because USCell charged me for nearly 500 minutes total. Because over all I used 1500 minutes last month… Opps, my bad. They claim I only have 1000 minutes on my plan. For night and weekends. I claim, and my contract says, I get unlimited.

So I call and bitch, I go there and I bitch, I call again and I bitch. But nothing seems to get through to them. So I say fuck this, cancel my plan and get a new phone… It’s so cute too!

Oh, I’m getting a head of myself.

After I bitched at the woman at the store and she told me to “Calm down” I went looking for phones. Decided that verizon was the way to go. Only because Sprint doesn’t have service in a lot of Iowa in which I spend time in, whereas Verizon does… And I can use any or all of my minutes roaming with no additional fees. Again, Sprint would have charged $5 more for that.

Didn’t get anything Friday night though, because it was late and I wanted to sleep on it all. So I went to JJ’s had a coffee and sat and read. No one good was there, except straigh Andy.. And he’s still as hot as ever!

Went home, sat around for a bit then went to bed.

Saturday I got up really early. I don’t know why, I was still very tired. But I got up, drove to Radio Shack here in Ames, and talked to the people there about cell phones. The cheapest one they had was like $80, and it was a monster, even compared to my old Nokia. So I was like screw this. So off to DM I went.

Stopped at MHM, just to see what they had and ended up getting my phone there. It was so cute, and only $40, plus I got a free car charger, headset, and leather case to go with it. The new plan now has 400 anytime minutes, unlimited night and weekend, free long distance, and free nation wide roaming (as long as I’m in theier network, which is pretty much everywhere)…

After that I headed home… Talked to Andrew in there somewhere, and he won’t even tell me at all what’s in the package that he’s sending, and he won’t tell me when he sent it or anything… ALL VERY ANNOYING! I can’t handle it.

He also has made, or at least is pretty sure he’s made his decision about things. Though he won’t tell me… Grrr.

This weekend I missed him a lot though, or maybe it’s just because I had nothing to do. I watched the simpsons (season 1) and all I could think about was how he used to always quote them, and how funny it was. I also watched the christmas one, and that made me cry. The simpsons are supposed to make you laugh, not cry!!! Very annoying.

But I really did miss him a lot this weekend. I can’t wait tell he comes back. Though I’m kind of hoping that he doesn’t get his job back at WF, no offense to him, or Courtney. But I just don’t want him staying with her. It’s hard to explain, but yeah.

Anyways, we did talk a lot this weekend, which was exciting. And very funny all at the same time.

Well after I went out Saturday, and then off to work out Saturday night, I didn’t leave my apartment the whole rest of the weekend. So yep. That was my weekend.

Now I’m here at work, we got the SSL cert for webmail today, but I didn’t enter the fully qualified address when signing up for it, so it still complains about it not being the right cert. I have to call them and get that fixed today.

Other then that not much going on… Tonight is going to be a really long night though. I have class from 3:40-5, then a review from 5-7, and then I have to study mad from 7-bed time.

I hope I do good on that test tomorrow!! ::crosses fingers::
