My Baby…

I was going to write something really long and boring about how things have changed so much, but alas.

Something more important

My baby died today!

My Zettta Bytes. 🙁 She’s dead.

I woke up this morning and turned her on, and she started making this HORRIBLE screeching sound. It was deathly ill.

I rushed her to the emergancy room, and plugged her into life suppport to try and save her memories.

But she died on the operating room table.

I was only able to save 3.03 Gigs of the 9Gigs of stuff I have on her.

Today is a sad sad sad day. :'( I dunno what I’m going to do to get that stuff back!

And just the other day I was trying to back her up and get a bunch of stuff off her… God damnit! Why did I give up so easily on that. :'(

Now I dunno if I should spend just the $500 to have her fixed, or if I should go with the $3k to just get the new Intel mac. Oh god, what to do!?

Green Tape

So, last night sucked hard core for me… Most emotional night I’ve had in a long time, and I’m only working on about 4 hours of sleep now. Gah!

I watched Gilmore Girls last night, did anyone else notice the green tape on lor and suki during the flower shopping scene? WTF up with that? And what the hell happened there at the end! That was such a mess.

I installed iLife ’06 and iWork ’06 last night, very exciting, iPhoto really does scroll like a knife through butter or whatever Jobs said… I haven’t played with the other things yet.

My Mac seems more sluggish since I installed 10.4.4, I dunno, maybe it’s just me.

Tomorrow I’m working a normal day (9-4) because I have a doc appointment at 4:30 in Newport Beach. I’m not sure if this is just a consultation or if they are actually going to do the surgery then… Who knows, like I said, it’s just out patient and the Doc said it shouldn’t take more then 30 minutes. I guess we’ll find out… Either way, I kinda wanna go out tonight, but at the same time, just sit at home and be a bitch some more.

Why can’t things just still be the way they were 2 years ago.. I was happy then, what happened?

I’m still really pissed about a lot of things. I’m out.

TGIT… NOT!

So I woke up this morning at 4:30 thinking that it was Thursday, which meant that I would be coming into work at 9am instead of the normal 5:30, so I sat there and re-set my alarm and rolled back over to go to sleep… And then realized it was only Tuesday. I was so disappointed.

Yesterday was a very stressful day for me. But all of that’s going into a private entry.

I spent the night working on stuff and playing Sim City 4. I installed Rush Hour last night and it deleted all my cities that I had alrady done, but that’s ok, because they were gay cities anyways.. My new ones are much better. I really have to say that I enjoy the game play of Rush Hour much more then the game play of the regular Sim City 4 game. I dunno what it is, but I just do. So far I’ve got one medium city and two small cities going in a my region, one of them is all residential (the medium) and the other two are just industrial areas. I like to keep them seperated because it makes the life quality of the poeple in the residential areas better. Sure they have long comutte times, but as long as you provide good mass transit, IE, Buses and Subways they don’t seem to really mind.

Today marks two years of knowing Jenikns! Happy anniversary Jenky! 😀 Now I just need to get his ass out here to visit me, damn poor college students can’t afford thier own air fare! Maybe this summer I can talk him into coming for a week or so.

Speaking of people visiting though, my aunt is coming in Febuary and so is Mark. I’m excited to see both of them! Mark and I are going to go up to LA and go out to dinner and then drinking (EDIT: I Should say that I am going up to LA to visit Mark, because that’s where he will be and won’t have a car to comehere), and then Sunday I’ll head up to Rancho Cucamonga to see my Aunt and the other person who is related to me who lives there.

MO is annoying me today… He sent me a ticket about something and like 20 minutes later he asks if there’s any solution… I replied and RESOLVED the ticket 5 minutes after he gave the damn thing to me, if he would only check his fucking e-mail he would see that there is a Solution and the issue is taken care of! THEN after I tell him it’s resolved he’s like, “What was the problem”… READ THE DAMN TICKET!

Sorry, I’m still in a really bad mood everyone… I might bite heads this week.

I’ve got iLife ’06 downloaded finially. I put uTorrent on my new computer and I have to say there is something about it that just made the damn thing FLY! I had been running it on my Mac with the official bittorrent client, and it was going to take WEEKS to download. I moved it over to my desktop with uTorrent and the damn thing (ALL 6.8 GIGS) downloaded in 9 hours!

Paula Abdul Ain’t Got Nothing On Me!

So the other day I went to the gym, and well… My arms HURT now so badly. It hurts just to even push on my chest.. I really should get back into that more. The other day at the docs though they said I was at 170, and that’s with my shoes and clothes/etc on. So who knows. But I should work out at the gym more and I’ve got to get back on the bike soon too!

Lets see, so yesterday at work I learned Perl and wrote a nice little program to do a bunch of stuff. It’s pretty cool.

I got off at 4 because I came in late and drove home. Traffic was HELLISH! I’m never doing that again. lol. Got home and lounged around some, and watched the mythtv stuff that I’ve been putting off forever. Saw a hilarious episode of Drawn Together. That finished just as Blake got there and I replayed him the funniesst part of it. Austin showed up a few minutes later and he drank his martini that I made him while we decided where to go for dinner for sure and just chatted some.

Decided that Hamburder Mary’s was the best bet, so we all went up there. It’s a really cool place. I’ll have to go back on a busier night though, as it was pretty dead. But the service was pretty good and we just all sat around and chatted. Came home and Blake and Austin both did magic tricks. haha. They we’re so cute. Blake left at 9″30 and I walked him out and said good bye. Just as last week, it was really good to see him again.

Austin stayed a while longer and we watched American Idol and talked. He left a little later cause I needed to go to bed.

Tonight I’m supposed to go out with Joel and his bf to coffee, hopefully that will go well. I’m really tired, so I don’t think that I will stay too longer though.
