Weekend Goodness

So this weekend was probably the BEST weekend ever! I got to hang out with two hottie McHottie pants, and just have a great time! lol

Friday I met up with Adam about 3ish, and we went to the Mall and did the normal shopping thing. After that we were bored, and I wanted to look at cars, just for the hell of it. So we went off to the VW dealer and were walking around the lot when a semi-cute salesman came up and we talked. He said I could tes drive a Golf, which is SUCH a cute car. He got the GTI, with a stick shift, etc. OMG, that’ll be the next car that I buy, unless of course someone else comes out with something cuter!

So we test drove it and stuff, very cool. It’s got some damn nice get-up-and-go for being such a small car. So we talked, and he figured it all out, and for me it’d be $204 a month to lease it, cheaper then my Saturn. Good times. We were there until 6:15ish.

From there we went to Wal-Mart and Target, where we met up with Andrew. Drove back to Ames to eat at Hickory Park. We saw Lenz there, he’s SO hot!

From there we went to Hy-Vee purchased breakfast food, and then came back to my Apartment.

We stayed up and talked, watched TV, showered (seperatly), had a good time overall.

We went to bed at like 1 Am or so, but we all just layed there and talked and giggled and other such things. Very amusing. Andrew’s dick somehow touched my sheets, so I must wash them now. He also claims that I touched his dick, but I didn’t. Thanks. He did however get a handfull of mine at some point. That wasn’t pleasant.

We finally stopped talking shortly after 3:30 AM, just in time to awake about 9am.

We all got up, I made breakfast. Yummy. Andrew did dishes which he sucked at cause I had to redo them all! Bah! We also got him very wet and shoved a gallon of water down his pants. (Well not really a gallon, more like handfull, but it was funny) After that we went to Campus town to go to Evolution, but it wasn’t open so we just walked around some and talked.

From there we drove to VWM and waited for Andrew to get his hair cut. Adam and I got in a bit of a tiff, but that was taken care of shortly. We shopped some. Good times.

After that we departed ways, Adam and I went to help his PUs move some shit and Andrew went to work out… I think he just went home to have a big jack-off fest! lol

We met again at my house in PC, where Andrew locked his keys in his car! We had to call the cops, and some new guy showed up. He was cute! Rarr.

After that we went hot-tubbing where much new information was divulged. Dicks were showen off, as well as asses. Luckly things all stayed within ones own person. (if that makes any sense)

After hot tubbing we went in and all changed, where more dicks were showen, and stuff. Ha, no-one’s yet to see mine! 😛

After that we all made smoothies with whatever fruit we could find. They turned out really good!

Again we all departed ways, Adam and I went to his house and Andrew went home.

Adam and I slept. Interesting, eh? I fell asleep like the instant that I laid down, I was so tired after that long day!

Today we got up about 11:30 went to wal-mart and got breakfast. Looked for Julian but he wasn’t there. I really wanted to talk to him about some stuff too.

After that I drove back to Ames to study. I’ve not done much of that yet. I really must though because I don’t want to fail this class. I’m not dropping it no matter what though damnit. If I do fail, I can still take it this summer though. So that’s a good option. Although I’d really like to not fail it. I’m doing so good in all my other classes so far this semester. I don’t want this one to bring me down.

Next week I have two tests, one on Tuesday from 8-10pm and one on Thursday from 8-10pm. Plus a DFD Hw, and a MS. Theres a few other things going on as well. I’m thinking I may cute back on hours at work. Although I don’t really think that’ll help because I have plenty of time to do all the stuff, just not the energy to actually do it. Fuck me.

I’m not going to DIE!

So I went to the dentist today. Not fun times. The lady was really nice, and so was the doctor. Good times there, although the news that they carried wasn’t good.

They ripped out the retainer thing that was glued to my teeth. One side had broken off, and the other side was loose, so they just pulled it out. Ouch! Then cleaning, X-rays, blah blah.

Come to find out that my pain was caused by the retainer thing, so that should be better now. Although I have to call my Ortho and get an appointment to get it put back in sometime.

X-rays came back, only 2 cavaties. Which is pretty good, considering I haven’t been to a dentist in like 3 years.

They said though that I have to have my wisdom teeth out before I can get those filled. Don’t ask why? So must get that done soon. They gave me the number for the people here in Ames, so I’ll call them tomorrow, or Friday. Pain, I don’t like.

One tooth is laying on it’s side, pointing towards the front and pushing on other teeth. Another one is “out” all the way, but it’s still pretty well lodged in the gums, the two top ones though are fine, but he recommended that they still come out.

In other news. I’ve had a BSD box sitting here for months just being happy and working away like a good little box. Yesterday they wanted to get some info on them, so they came in, logged in and tried to do some basic stuff (ie, “ls”) and they got an error. Not good, considering ‘ls’ is a VERY basic command and when that doesn’t work, it’s VERY hard to navigate around a system. Anyways, I came in today and they told me about it. So I was like, alright, no biggie.

Yeah, comes to find out we were rooted (is that a word) back on Feb 1 at 22:31. They got in through an SSH vuln it appears. Right now we’ve blocked that port, I want to get it reformatted and back up and running, but we have people out this week and they’re using the system, so can’t bring it down. Not good. Must install tripwire on the other boxes.

Lots of other stuff going on, PHIL test on Tuesday, not looking forward to that. 10 grammer questions, where he gives you a word and you give the def, 2 quote ID’s, and 2 essay questions (He’s given us 6, and then he’s going to choose 2 of those). Yeah, I’m totally going to fail that test. Not looking good.

MKT test on Friday, should do alright on that one, I’ve been studying for it though, and I need to do more.

Speaking of failing PHIL. If indeed I do fail it, that really puts a damper on things for the summer. It’s not a class that I can fit in next semester. So I’d have to take that class this summer some time. Which means, that if I work at Camp, I’d have to either A) Miss the mornings of Staff taining week or B) Miss the mornings of the last week of camp and not work CUB camp at all.

If however, I don’t work at camp, that means I can fit in 9 credit hours this summer, and drop my load to 12 credit hours per semester my senior year.

Financially though, working at camp will put me ~$1,000 ahead what I would have if I worked at Krell all summer and went to school. And then in the long run, I could possibly make up to an additional $1,000 through the rest of the year. So confusing.

I’ll just wait and see what happens I guess. That’s the best way!

My tooth HURTS so fscking BAD. I think I’m going to DIE DIE DIE!

My wisdom teeth, or at this point it’s just on tooth, is coming in. And it HURTS LIKE A MOTHER FSCKER!

In other news, this weekend was alright. Went home early Friday because it was supposed to be BAD! And indeed it did get VERY bad, but not near as early as they thought it would. Anyways, it rained, it hailed, it SNOWED! It was so cool!

Friday night Andrew was supposed to come over, but he clearly didn’t come over. Too bad too really. It would have been TONS of fuN! Had he not had to work he would have been there though, because by 7 when he got off the roads were pretty bad.

Anyways, Adam and I watched TV, and did other random stuff all day long. About 11ish we went out and played in the snow. It was SOOO cool. It was like we were 12 again! lol.

I got scared shitless too cause there was a rabid animal chasing us around the yard. Luckly Gordy was there to protect us!

Saturday we slept in and awoke to EVEN more snow, you couldn’t even tell where we had been out running through the yard just hours before, or where I hat shovled at least a foot of snow off our deck! It was crazyness.

Needless to say, Adam and I sat around my house and had a good ass time! And again, Andrew didn’t make it over. Sad.

We also baked LOTS of cookies, and played in the snow some more, and took panoramic pics of my backyard and all the pretty snow! I love snow when it comes down like this! I dislike it when it interupts my plans for things. Rarr.

We slept in this morning, got up dressed and then ventured out to leave… Since they had FINALLY cleared out our driveway… There were like 4 foot drifts in our driveway, it was crazy!

Drove back to Adam’s. Roads were still really bad between Ankeny and PC. So once we got there, I wanted to leave cause I didn’t want to be out driving in the roads to much. Considering I almost died from a car accident on the way there. Fucking people in their big ass trucks!

Anyways, I left. Came home. Did shit. Watched the Simpsons, and then the Married with Children thing, very interesting.

And now I’m here, dying from my hurt! I shall go off to bed soon, and call a dentist tomorrow!

Mistake!

So I made a BIG mistake today. I went to a career fair. And walked out with a job offer….

Now at first glance, that might not seem like a big mistake. But it is. Cause really all I wanted to do, was go there, see who’s there, hang out some, and talk to employers. Well I was walking around and noticed that Mid-Iowa was there. And I’d heard that Pete wasn’t doing the camp this year. So I just my curiosity just killed me and I had to stop in. I did, I talked to the guy and he said that he was doing camp.

Great, some guy I’ve never heard of. We talked, he’d been on staff for 5 years at Mitigwa, he’s a district exec now. We talked about my years on staff and how much Pete and I hated each other, and how he would do stuff differently.

We got along, and before I knew it, he was offering me a job as a COPE Instructor. Now, I’m sure that most of you have NO idea what that is. But it’s something that I’ve been wanting to do ever since I did COPE in philmont back in ’00.

Summer of ’01 I was offered a job at the FIRST Boy Scout camp, it’s name slips my mind at the moment. I had to turn it down though because it A) only offered me $1,000 for June 1 – Aug 18th. Which is a total rip off. B) It was in PA. C) They didn’t have good Staff quarters. AND D) I got a better offer from Mitigwa to do Eagle Bound, also something that I would really enjoy. And I dud enjoy it untill I came home one day that I had off and met this boi. And I decided that my time was done at camp.

Anyways, I must figure out what I want to do this summer I want to work at Krell.

I want to go to school.

I want to hang out with friends.

I want to take this once in a life time oppurtunity and work on COPE. But I don’t know what I want to do. Dmanit. Why so many decisions!

Speaking of working at Krell. I wish that they would give me a raise. I’ve worked there for more then a year and half, and I’ve yet to get shit. I need to ask for a raise, but I just don’t know how to go about that….
