Mr. President?

Ha, today’s been fucking great. I’ll get to the rest of the day in a bit, but this evening Adam and I were watching the news and they were talking about the president’s visit. Well they started talking about two young people that were in the wrong spot at the wrong time…. Next thing we know, we see Xak’s car and him and Luke are being searched. It was hilarious. I guess they got to close to the limo or something, and they were stopped and interviewed by the Secret Service and shit and they searched thier car. It was great, we laughed alot. Thost two are such dumbasses. I can’t believe they were stupid enough to go that close. I can’t believe that they didn’t have drugs or anything in their car. That would have really been funny. Cause they were searched by bomb sniffing dogs and the whole works. God, I can’t believe I’m associated with them.

On other things, this weekend’s been really great. We got in about 8:00 here and went to bed shortly after that, then today we got up and made lunch… That was really good. David got out of school early because of all the “snow” there wasn’t jack shit on the ground yet and it didn’t even start until about 6ish. So yeah. But we went over there about 3 and hung out for a while. It was really good to see him again. He’s hot. But he’s not looking all that healthy, so we’re a bit worried about him. I guess he’s going to start coming back to the GLRC again in March. That’ll be sweet action.

Adam’s mom keeps calling him and bitching him out about things and he’s not really happy about that. It’s bad times with her and things. I dunno what really is going on, if there’s more on her side or what, but it appears bad. Tonight he was calling to get information cause he was filling out his Accident report and Rob answered, well he was just being a lazy bum and wouldn’t go get the info and told Adam to just forget about it. He can’t really do that, cause the other guys already contacted his insurance and that means he’s also filed an accident report so if Adam doesn’t they suspend your license for 3 months… I should know, I learned the hard way. But yeah, so he was almost in tears about that and I was trying to comfort him.. and yeah.

Julian also called me today and that was random.. Yeah, funny times there.

Ok, Letterman’s on, so I’m going to go watch that now, laters all!

Prom Dream?!

Well last night I had the wierdest dream… Adam hadn’t asked me to prom, so he went with some girl. I dunno know who, but that’s not important in the dream. Well he went and had spilled something on his shirt, so he had the nerve to call me at home to bring him a shirt. Well I did because I’m a nice bf like that, but when I got there he was dancing with some other guy. It clearly wasn’t like a bf dance or anything like that, it was just one of those random hey look at me, I’m dancing with a guy. But that really pissed me off cause when he told me he was going with a girl he said that it was because he wasn’t sure what would happen if he showed up with a guy, or danced with a guy, so he just wanted to be safe. So yeah.. I gave him his shirt and he could clearly see that I was pissed, so he wanted to talk about it, cause he’s like that. But I wouldn’t let him. I stormed out and decided to go shopping, so I went to the mall. I don’t know which mall it was because it was far bigger then any mall we have around here, and it was just cool. But I ended up at Kohls in that mall. I realized I didn’t have any money so I stole a 24 pack od sprakly doughnuts and left. Once I got outside of the mall though it was like I was in downtown LA or somtehing, it was just a bad area. So I started walking… As I was walking I passed this bridge and I saw some guy dump a body over the side of the bridge into the water below, and he saw me and started chasing after me. It was all really fucking wierd. But then the cops showed up and they arrested me for stealing the doughnuts, but didn’t arrest the guy that ust dumped somebody’s body over the bridge.

It was really really fucked up.

Ok, so I can’t wait tell tonight, we’ll be on our way to Lenox. Good times. Ok I must be getting to class now, laters all!

Dell, and Dec

Well I’m at work and there seems to be a problem with one of the Dell’s around here, so now I’m stuck in the conf room and have nothing to do but sit here and listen to the music on hold. It’s great. Well not really.

I was working on the DEC. I was working on getting the external CDROM working, because it’s being a bitch to do that. I guess that’ll have to wait and I’ll do my HW while I’m waiting.

Not much really going on around here today, other then the fact that it’s bloody fucking cold outside. I about froze to death on my way to classes this morning. It wouldn’t have been so bad if the wind hadn’t been blowing so hard. Oh well, the day’s about over. I can’t wait tell Thursday!!!

MySQL

Well, I’m slowly moving my entire site over to MySQL. I’m just using the b2 database, so it’s kinda crude, but it works. that way I only have one actual php file that ever has to be updated and that updates the entire site. It’s pretty cool really. And I kinda like it was well cause when I update one of the side pages it automatically updates the date and time updated and also tells you who updated it. Maybe once I get a chance to learn more about MySQL I’ll work on an actual MYSQL database for the rest of the site.

I’m also working on DNS. I’d like to get DNS server running on this machine so that I can get rid of the Forward on cjbonline.org and get this machine to act as cjbonline.org. But I don’t really know enough about DNS to be able to set things up right. I found a really good book about it, but I don’t want to shell out the $30 to buy it.

Things are also all set up for this weekend. I guess like everyone’s going to be down there this weekend, my Aunt’s going to be there as well. It’s going to be a packed house. lol.

la la la. Not much really going on around here. I’m thinking I might start the next ComS assingment here soon. It looks a bit harder then the others, but I haven’t really looked at it that much, it’s probably just going to be mostly input/output that’s going to be the pain.

la la la. I also want to think about installing Linux on my DEC, but it doesn’t have any floppy drive to start the boot from, so I’m kinda lost as to how to do that… I have an external CD drive. I dunno. Maybe I’ll just leave OSF1 on it.
