april 24, #3. just so you all know, i HATE M$. so i was working on that program

and i needed to read in a string from an M$ access database, from a VB program.

well the string was an SSN, so it was like this: ***-**-**** well instead

of reading it like that from the database it was reading it like this: *********

and it took me forever to figure out that that’s what it was doing, cause

what it was reading in was never displayed on the screen it was using it for

validatation, so now since fucking Access can’t pass strings right, i have

to write a whole shit load of code to convert the input from ***-**-**** to

*********. damn M$. grrr. but other then that today’s been pretty good. i

have a ton of accounting to get done tomorrow though, and travis is so funny

anymore in accounting, he’s so i dunno, i guess uncomfortable is the word

for it. i really didn’t mean to do that to him, but yeah, it’s funny cause

he’s all like, yeah, lol. I’m going to go work on this program some more,

when i started i figured it could be done in like 5 forms or so, but i already

have 13, lol. opps, maybe i’m going a bit overboard, lol.

april 24, #2. so my second class today was cancelled as well. i wonder what’s

up with that, oh well, it’s pretty cool. i have a group project to do in there

though and it’s due next tues and my group doesn’t even have an idea as to

what they want to do with it. I enjoy programming. people look at me funny

when i say that. i don’t think you should be going into cis or cs if you don’t

enjoy programming. i really don’t. that’s just my opinion though. but like

this program i have an idea of what i want to do, and i know they will most

likely take it, but it’s going to be a huge project if we do all the data

val and everything that it needs, which, since i’m a perfectionist when it

comes to programming we will do. it’ll be a cool program though. really cool.

april 24. so my first class was cancelled today, but i forgot about that,

and went anyhow. oh well. i got a nice hot shower this morning. lol. not really

much to talk about. i think my roomie might be dead. he came back last night,

about 8 or so, went to bed, and hasn’t gotten up yet. he’s such a twat. i

don’t know how people can stand that kind of sleeping schedule. just waste

the whole day in bed. now if i didn’t have classes and such, i would waste

the whole day in bed. and be up all night, but we have classes, so there’s

really no point in being up all night and then going to classes and then sleeping

all day the next day. i don’t know what i’m talking about.

april 23, #3. today just sucks. i haven’t gotten shit done. i tried studying

for government, but i just can’t concentrate on it. I’m so tired today too

for some reason, i dunno why. but i am. only 3 weeks left. i wonder if my

computer can make it the three weeks without rebooting, that would be cool.

it’s been up for 11 days.1 hour. 44 minutes. and 16 seconds. yay for that,

huh. i need some more tootsie pops. oh i also have like increadable internet

speeds. My download speed: 847 kbps. My upload speed: 1597 kbps. cool, huh.

i d/led 33 megs worth of stuff in just under 2 minutes. i hope they don’t

disconect me now 🙂
