I got yelled at by the bitch at the grocery store the other day. I had a basket full of shit, and I always just set the basket on the belt. I mean. Why bother unloading it, if you put it on the belt, then the cashier can just put it in a stack at the END of the isle so that it’s easier for the baggers/etc to put them back by the door. And either way it’s really not that big of a deal. It’s not like it’s going to break something. So I get up to the front of the line and the bitch says. ‘Next time empty the basket and leave it at the end”. Umm, excuse me? You talk to your customers like that? Fuck you. The next day I was at the store again and she was working. I only bought an onion, but I was SOOO tempted to wait in her line and just set the fucking basket on the belt again. Stupid bitch.

Nothing much really going on. Today has been hectic!! I’m spinning 7 different projects, all of them have show-and-tells coming up in the next 2-3 days and it’s getting really frustrating. I have changes coming from every direction and stuff. And three of them have the same freaking name! I can’t keep track of them! lol.

I didn’t even get into the office till 11 today, then things weren’t working and I couldn’t upload the changes and what not. Very frustrating. So now I’m sitting in and empty office so that things actually work! 🙂 One of the projects I presented 2 different themes to last week. They picked the one that I thought looked the worst. Oh well, it still looks good though! 🙂

I ended up buying the new camera. It should be here tomorrow. I’m very excited for this, but still pissed that I had to spend the money on it. I should get a retractable cord for this one! lol.

Last night Ben came over again and hung out. Good times. I made Chicken Pizza. It was excellent. What can I say! I think tonight we’re all going out to Beige again. But not sure, people are iffy and I’m tired and what not. Plus I really don’t want to run into you know who again!

It Wasn’t Me

So I was listening to the radio the other day and “It Wasn’t Me” by Shaggy came on the radio. It got to the line where the song goes:

and instead of that it now says:

Umm. WTF?! Since when did “making love” become something you can’t say on the radio!? WHAT!? Are you serious!? This has to be one of the most ridiculous things I’ve ever heard!

So then. Friday night I was supposed to go out to Weho with people but everyone backed out at the last minute and it was just annoying. Instead I spent the night working on some stuff for one of my contract jobs and I just couldn’t get it figured out. The View is returning 4 rows and I need to take data from the two identical rows and join it together…. Well, it’s harder then that, I’m just not explaining it right. Either way I couldn’t figure it out. I went to bed about 11 and woke up around 9ish Saturday.

Got up and went to Ikea and the SouthBay Pavilion. GHETTO! Ikea was good. I spent $65 there, got a shoe rack, a rack for the bathroom, some spoons, and a huge coffee mug for the newport beach office. Came home and put things together and cleaned.

So remember the camera I lost? It’s STILL not found. I have spent 15-20 minutes every day looking for it. Today I pulled EvERYTHING off my desk, out from under my desk, out of the closets, turned the couch up side down, moved the coffee tables, I even searched through my underwear drawer!! It’s GONE. I’m really starting to think I might have thrown it away or something, but I went out and searched through the two bags of trash that I’ve taken out in the last week.. NOTHING. So now I have to find a new one. I’ve been WANTING a Digital SLR forever, but I think that’s just way too much to spend on it right now. So I don’t know what to do. I’m thining the Canon Powershot SD630. It looks like a really nice camera and I _love_ the 3″ screen! I really want to have a camera before this weekend’s ride.

I also went out and did a quick bike ride. That was good. Less then one week till my 100 mile ride.

Saturday night Robert and I hit up Weho. Had a really good time, and checked out a few boys. 🙂 Fun fun! Surpised we didn’t run into you know who. But thank god. The lines at HERE were HUGE! Something special must have been going on. Either way we had a great time. Got home about 3am and crashed.

Sunday got up and looked for my camera a little more. But there’s really no where LEFT to look, but I just know that as soon as I go buy a new one, it’s going to turn up somewhere.

Went flying in the afternoon with Jason and Carlito. We flew inland over downtown LA, up to Santa Monica, south over LAX and then back into Hawthorne. While we were flying up towards downtown LA we came within what seemed like a couple hundred feet of an Airbus A320 that was coming into LAX. They said that they were really low or what not. Either way it was COOL and scary at the same time being that close to such a huge jet.

After that Jason and I went over to Torrance Airport and talked to a guy who knows the guy who was in a plane crasha over the weekend. Pretty amazing story. Now that’s a real pilot!

Ben came over that afternoon about 3 hours after I had expected him, but either way we had an enjoyable evening talking and watching Scrubs.

Double Hits

Well. I had a big long post here yesterday and for some reason it got deleted when I went to save it! Ugh!

Anyways, Wed work was horrible after only getting 2 hours of sleep! I was just so not very createive and the boss was asking me to be. It was horrible.

That night Ben came over and he was very talkative and we had a great time. As I said, we watched babel. We had a good time. He’s going home this weekend, so I won’t get a chance to hang out with him again till Mondayish.

Thursday was good. Work was typical, I guess our VP was in another accident so a bunch of projects that I should have been working on, I didn’t have the information for, so nothing got done on those. Made headway on another list that I’ve been putting off for a while though. Went to the gym after work and biked for 45 minutes. I went pretty easy and it said that I burned 300 calories. I wonder how accurate that is to being moved over to the real world. Because I typically go about twice as fast as I was at the gym, and for twice as long. I wish I could have a cal/heart rate monitor for my real world biking. Maybe I’ll go buy one this weekend.

Had one of the worst dates of my life that night. It was VERY VERY awk, the guy says he’s only 27, but he looks 37. I kept trying to talk to him and he just kept giving one word answers and shit. Very annoying and stupid. I got there and like 5 minutes into it I txted Jason. “Save me!”. lol. UGH!

Trying to find stuff to do for tonight. I’ve invited 3 people out, of course they are all maybes. So yeah. Who knows. I’d really like to try and get to meet up with some of these people I’ve been chatting with online. It’s just so difficult because our schedules never mesh damnit!

I downloaded a ton of Japanese language classes from this site. So I’m going to start listening to them in the car. I’m a bit annoyed though because there’s no easy way to get them in the correct order on my iPod! For some reason it’s all messed up! I’m getting really scared for my class!

So last month my blog had TWICE the number of unqiue visitors over the month before. Kinda strange considering that from 01/06 – 12/06 there’s only about a 300+/- difference each month and then from Dec06-Jan07 the unique people doubled! It’s just a bit scary and cool at the same time. Hopefully some of those people will continue to come back! 🙂

Every day that goes by I want to txt Mayko and just say. “Are you serious”. This is really annoying.

I went to the store the other day and was carrying a big heavy box out. I opened the door and was walking out when the door SLAMMED into the back of my hand. I now have a HUGE bruise across the back of my hand and it really hurts to move it too much.

Eh. Week is going. I’m still really upset about the whole issues with Mayko. I was really hoping that through all this we could at least be friends. I just can’t get over that he would just throw away our friendship like this. Just really hurts, as per usual. Also have you noticed that shortly after I say something like. “If I’m still talking to so and so in X month we’ll do Y”.. And then I stop talking to that person. Ugh.

I’ve added a few new pages to the site.. Just some random strange things.

1) Baby Names – A page for me to put names that I come across and really like. Kinda small at this point, but it’ll grow!

2) CjB For President! – A page for me to bitch about policies, etc. It’s still empty.

3) Rules for Dating me. – This is a page for people to read if they are interested in dating me. Tips and lists of things I like/don’t like. I think it’ll save some time…. lol

Monday work was good. I got another good project to do. But I spent most of the day re-learning Coldfusion!

Tuesday I went to the SM office and the fucking DSL was down. I bitch to the HD at 8am as soon as they got there and they started working on it. It still wasn’t up at 10. I had now wasted half my day, so I went home. As soon as I walked in my door I got a call. “The DSL is back up!”. Of course it is!

So I worked from home and did some random stuff. I chatted with this really cute guy named Matthew (the guy who runs GGB) and he told me about this concert tuesday night, it sounded really cool. But the group ended up going out to Beige. Jason, Ben and I. We had a really good time. Mayko was there. I felt so awk and horrible just ignoring him like that. I really wanted to go up and at least say ‘Hi’ or be nice. I dunno what to do. I mean now I’m sure I’ll be seeing him out wherever I go. I avoided eye contact the whole night with him and just enjoyed hanging out with the two boys. But Jason said everytime he looked in that direction Mayko and the guy he was with were looking at us and apparently at one point he was standing right behind me for like 10 minutes. I also really wish I could know what he was saying to the guy he was with. Because the group said he kept looking at us and then leaning in and talking to the guy he was with.. blah blah blah. You know it?

I really just want to talk to him and make things better. I started writing a letter to him yesterday afternoon. I know I shouldn’t send it, but I just can’t write people off. It’s so hard for me. I have to have people like me, my psychologist said I need to work on that, but I just don’t know how! lol.

I just don’t get it. I did NOTHING to hurt him and I’m sure you can generally tell from my writings here that I cared about him very much and would never purposly do anything to hurt him. I just feel like shit about the whole situation and what not.

Either way, the night as a whole was lots of fun. We chatted, we laughed, we shared stories. Good times. Picking up Ben and dropping him off was a mess though. His exit was closed and the area he lives in is so confusing to drive, etc. And then I had to get gas and the only place we could find was an Arco that kept declining my Credit card, ugh! It was a mess… Got home about 2ish and tried to crash, but I was just going over the whole Mayko situation and getting upset about it. Got up at 5am this morning and came into work for my 6am meeting with the CEO. I’ve got another good project from him that I’m working on. Currently taking a break and trying to think of a way to display the data.

As for Ben… He’s really cute, very nice, all the standard stuff so far. I mean I’ve only known him what 2 weeks or something? But last night while we were out, he hardly said anything! I kept trying to talk to him and getting one line answers, etc. I’m going to bring it up tonight on our movie date and see what he has to say. Because I can’t deal with someone who’s so quiet. Cause if it’s not going to work I’d like to keep him as a friend.

This weekend I’m potentially flying up to Santa Barbara, grabbing lunch and then flying back. It should be tons of fun, and I’m really hoping it comes through. I’m not sure if I mentioned it or not, but Carlito randomly txted me last week saying he wanted to go flying with me. That boy is so crazy. So I have to call him today to find out if he’s still up for it. I sure hope so. If not, perhaps Jason and I can just go on our own or something.
