Wow, Can you believe it’s been 3 years already since I made the big move from IA to CA!! I know I sure can’t. A lot sure has changed since then. You all know it all. 🙂
I’ve been trying to catch up on email and news, etc. So the day hasn’t been too exciting.
Trying to answer all the questions people have posed to me about the Lifecycle have been difficult. Trying to find the words to explain it are hard. You really do have to go and see it to really understand what you go through during that week. All I can say any more is that it was an amazing experience.
I’d like to take a moment though to talk about all the people I met through the ride. I would never have made it through without the help of these great people. They gave me support when I thought I couldn’t make it. They provided me a great tent mate, even though we did have a bit of an argument on the first day. They gave me great advice and provided some really great conversation that opened my eyes to what we’re fighting for here. I’d like to thank them all and only wish I could really show them how much they helped me as a person this past week.
Thanks to all of you: JC, Nick, Dustin, Tom, Tom, David, Chad, Cody, Mark, Brian, Beth, Leslie, Cory, Melvin, Christine, Enver, Ran, Elva, Ginger, Daniel, Bryan, Mom&Dad and of course My Mother and My father. Along with the hundreds of other people I met who’s names I can’t remember right now and the hundreds or roadies who were out there supporting us all day long with food and entertainment!!!
And now I have to get back to all my emails and stuff! Adios!
Something I learned about car buying is to try and buy at the end of the month when they are trying to make their sales quotas, and if not the end of the month, at least the end of the week.
How odd. I wrote that for a different LJ and it posted it to yours.
How far did you ride?
Haha. I was wondering about that! I was looking through there thinking to myself.. .”where did I talk about cars?!”.
We rode 556 miles from San Fran to LA!
