So last night I was on my way home from work, driving south on 69 like I always do and I came about a mile out side of Alleman. There were cops and lights and yellow tape… Much to my surprise the guy that was standing in the middle of the road was telling evryone that there was no way into Alleman, and to get around it you had to go about 4 miles out of your way either to the Highway, and south to the Elkhart exit, or go west towards slater on a gravel road and then south back towards Alleman. Me being from around there I took the shorter way around, and met up with Adam at Hy-Vee, just a couple minutes late.
After he got off work we exchanged stories and then went to Kim Party, at which lots of wierd things happened, I ran into two people that I know from Scouts, Ben Stiney and Head (Grant, which I later came to remember after someone said it), it was very very odd, we left shortly after that and went back to my house where Adam spent the night.
Now I’m at his house waiting for him to take a shower and then we are heading off to Tara’s Graduation party….
I can’t believe that two years ago I was having mine. It seems like it was so long ago, yet it also seems like it was just yesterday. Wow. How I long for the days of HS, but yet am glad that I’m out of there. Ok, so I’m not sure what the hell I want, but there’s one thing that I wish I would have done, and that’s enjoyed my time in HS more then what I did.
Oh well. So I’m off to Tara’s now, Good luck to all those graduationg this year out there and to all those graduating in the next couple years, have fun in the last couple years that you have!
