Wow. A Love to Hide

A young gay couple and their Jewish friend face persecution from the Nazis in 1940s Paris. Philippe and Jean hide their love from both their families and the occupying Germans. When Jean’s childhood sweetheart, a Jew, shows up after her family is killed, the two take her in. But now their secret life as members of the “third sex” becomes harder to conceal, especially from Jean’s Nazi-sympathizing family.

This is one moving movie. Just amazingly written and acted in.

Seriously. I dunno what to say. I just finished this movie and it has to be added to everyone’s watch lists. It’s right up there with Schindler’s List.

Good job Iowa… with the whole Obama thing. Not so much on the Huckabee…. WTF were you thinking?

I’m glad that Obama won there and that Hillary was in second, although if things continue like this, that probably means Hillary would be vice-president… Anyways, I really don’t like that woman, I don’t want to see her in the White House.

But the whole Hukabee? WTF! I’m glad to see that Ron Paul got 10% of the votes, 6% more then Giuliani got. Ron Paul is great. lol

I found this thing on Digg yesterday about companies that helped and were built by Nazi Germany, pretty interesting read.

The last few days have been interesting. I worked in Temecula yesterday. Annoying ass drive! 180 miles in one day for a commute! The office out there is disgusting as well! Only two people work there, but there’s 6 computer terminal/desk things. There’s soda can’s and water bottles piled everywhere and nasty stains on the carpet! The two room office has only a SMALL window in the corner, which was covered up so basically no sunlight gets into the office at all. I sure hope I _NEVER_ have to go back to that gross place!

Constantine comes back tonight which is exciting, and tomorrow we have a dinner party with some of his friends. That will be fun to meet more of them. Then next weekend we are heading out to Vegas to meet up with Zach and Amanda, that will also be exciting. I’m really looking forward to it!

Vacation from Vacation!

Ok, well I’m back in Cali everyone.

I had a GREAT time back home. But I’m so socially exhausted. So much shit going on back there, so many great friends, great boys, great people!

Lets see, highlights:

Friday: Hung out with Angel, helped her move. Met the new guy, who’s very nice and cool. Had them over to my place that night and we all got drunk

Saturday: Hung out with the Parents, went hiking with them and got interviewed by the DM Register. My mommy got quoted! Went to sushi with them that night and then went out with David at the Frat, had an amazing time. It’s nice being back cause I’m the new hot guy, and everyone wants to talk to me. :) David kept getting all these boys trying to get him to introduce me to them. So that felt nice. :) I also got really drunk and then drove home! So much fun. haha.

Sunday: Hung out with the PU’s again, we went to the new Science center to the Titanic Exhibit. I lived! Went out to dinner with them again. Our waiter told us like every 5 minutes that his name was Dwaine. My dad made fun of him. He was REALLY cute though. :) After that Ginny came over and we went hot tubbing. I was really tired so she didn’t stay too long.

Monday-Wed: Spent these days down at the Grandparents. Had fun times with them. Went out hiking, learned about the Blow Job girl, ate TONS of cookies and other yummy yummy food. Also read a lot. It was a bit stressful bieng down there and having to make all the small talk with them. Oh, also planted lots of flowers and did some other general yard work. Played with Gpa’s guns some. My Gpa has a derringer, which I want so bad! Apparently someone also stole a Nazi Gunbelt from him too, cause he can’t find it anywhere.

WedNight: I went out to the Parade with my cousin and the child. We had a good time, but the parade was way too long.

Thursday: I spent most of the day at home, that night I went out with Zach, Nic, Mandy, and Mellisa. Some random straight boy talked to us all at The Lift. Yay for cheap martinis! We also hit up the Royal Mile that night! :)
Friday: I got up fairly early, went to the fair with the cousin and the child, had a good time there. Then took her home and then met up with Angel again and we went back to the fair. Had some more fun and looked at all the HOT Iowa farm boys! Yum yum! After that I went to Angel’s showered and then met up with David, Dusty and Jen at the Frat. Had another great night.. Was out till about 5am, went home and finished packing then went to the airport. Got back to cali about noon.

The new airport stuff is stupid as hell! I walked RIGHT THROUGH security with a Nalgene full of water, no one even blinked. So cleary they are not doing much really about this. Then, apparently you can’t even take water, food, etc onto the plane that you BUY in the airport! WHAT?! This is retarded. Then once we got to LAX, they were searching EVERYONE’s carry one right before getting on the plane. I think this is overkill AND Stupid! Ugh!

I was like, “Hi” and then went back to reading my book. Then he started grabbing at my book. (He couldn’t have been more then 2). By this time the mother came over and started talking to me, I replied to her, but acted annoyed. She said that he kid likes to tear pages out of books. I was like.. “Great, then get the fucker away from my book”… Well I didn’t really say that, but it’s what I thought. So I just handed him my bookmark, hoping that would make him happy and he’d wonder away.

Nope, then he started CRAWLING all over me! I was like. GET THIS CHILD OFF ME. How could a parent seriously let the child do that shit. How fucking annoying.

Ugh.

Anywyas, I’ve spent the rest of the weekend hanging out at home. I’ve really needed some alone time.

Ok, so… Last night was great, after the initial problems!

So I get home at like 1:30 or so, go on my bike ride, come back and hang around talking to Blake for a while online. Then I go and shower and get dressed to go. Get a nice coat and shirt and put them in my car, so that they don’t get too wrinkled on the drive there. Make sure I have my camera, and my cell phone, some cough drops, altoids, and some cash to pay for parking.

Go out to my car and think… “I should get some water for the drive there cause traffic is going to be hellish”. So I go back in and get a bottle of water and then leave.

Traffic was hellish, 45 minutes to get there in stop and go traffic, all the fucking way. Blah! Get there and get out of my car, put on my shirt and grab my jacket. Go up to the window to get the tickets and she says. “I need to see a photo ID”. So I grab for my wallet… GONE!

So then I look in all my other pockets, I NEVER forget my wallet, it goes with me everywhere!

So I think maybe I left it in my car. So I run back to my car.. NOT THERE!.

So I start thinking about it, and I realize i never got it out of my pants that I wore to work. !!! OMG! I can’t believe it, It would have taken me an hour and a half at LEAST to get back home and back there, and south bound traffic was WORSE then the north bound! That means I would have missed cocktail hour AND the first course of dinner! So I txted OG to find out how far away he was to see if maybe he could just vouch for who I was.

However, MH got there first and we tried that, but the bitch wouldn’t buy it. That place is like nazis! So I called Jon, no answer, then I called Jeff, and he says that he can talk to the people at Club 33 and have them call the front desk and they can change it so that MH can have a guest and yeah. So like 40 minutes after I got there I was finially let into the damn park! It was crazyness.

So we get there and the party was lots of fun. GT mentioned that they had it at the Magic Castle 4 years ago, I voted we do it there next year too. lol. They had a magician there this year, but he NEVER came to the table I was at, very annoying! GT also said that he made $1,000 an HOUR! Clearly I’m in the wrong business! lol.

The food was amazing, the desserts were HEAVEN! And the drinks didn’t flow enough. lol. Though I did get pretty buzzed. I left there about 10:30 and got home at 11. Couldn’t get to sleep though and was up till midnight and then woke up again at 4:30 and couldn’t get back to sleep. So I’ve been up since then. Blah!

I was a bit sad that I didn’t have anyone with me though. EVERYONE had a girlfriend or wife or something. The running joke was that MH and I were dates since he had to add me as a guest. lol. I really wish that Blake could have come… Well I wish more that I had an official boyfriend I could have taken!

No one’s in the office yet, did I miss a memo?

Something funny:

Accountant on speaker: Okay, I tried entering my password and it didn’t work.

Tech: I reset it to “password.”

Accountant on speaker: Okay, let me try my password again.

Tech: Make sure you type “password.”

Accountant on speaker: It didn’t work again.

Tech: Iou typed far too many letters for the word “password.” Did you type in “password” as your password?

Accountant on speaker: Yu never told me to do that.

Tech: So what part of my sentance confused you: “Type in the word

‘password’ when it asks you for your password”, or “I reset it for you, your password is now ‘password.’”

Accountant on speaker: I have a CPA, don’t talk to me like that.

Tech: I can make up acronyms too. I’ll be in your office in five

minutes. In the meantime, ponder this one: I’m OMGWTF certified.

I’m Lonely

It’s nearly 7am and there’s no one in the office yet.. I’m lonely.

I had the most random dream last night.. People showed up in it that I haven’t seen since HS! And it was very sexual (No actual sex, just sexual under tones). Maybe I just need to jack off more. Haven’t done that in forever. lol.

I’m very hyper right now (6 shot Mocha, and a caffine pill).

I want to buy a mini, and a new car! Why can’t I get more money. I really want a second job so that I don’t feel bad about buying more things… I also wish I wasn’t such a stuck up savings nazi… If I didn’t save $1,700 a month. I could fucking buy everything I wanted.

ISU Alumni have some AWESOME group trips… I have to remember that when Andrew and I go to China. They have some REALLY COOL China trips. I like this one the best. Only $10,000 per person too!
