1. Be Honest – Honesty is very important. You can’t be true to your relationship and have the best of each other with out being honest with each other. If you’ve been a slut, drugs, whatever. Tell all about your past and future hopes. If you don’t want to have kids, don’t say you do because you think it’s what the other wants to hear.
2. Communications – Comunication is one of the most important things. Say what you feel, be open and unaffraid of what you want. Don’t wiggle around answering something because you are embarrased, be straight forward and express how you’re feeling and express what you want. If something happens that’s a “Deal breaker” say right there. “Hey, I don’t like that”. Within a relationship you can talk about those problems and fix or build on them so that the little things don’t bring down what could have been.
3. Don’t be affraid – If you’re reading this. Then you probably realize I tell all. Don’t be affraid of this. If I see or hear something, it’ll probably get repeated back to my friends. How I feel is all right here. If I like you, it’s here, if I hate you. It’s here. However, this doesn’t mean I can’t keep a secret! You just have to say, “don’t say this to anyone else”. I can keep them.
4. Be On Time – Tell me to meet you at 1:00. You’ve got till 1:15, and then I turn around and go home. My time is valuable to me and to my clients. I’m not going to sit around waiting for anyone. There are of course, exceptions, but you have to CALL as soon as yo realize youre going to be late. If there’s traffic, business meeting, things like that. But if you just “lost track of time” or any other stupid reason. I’m done.
5. Compliment – A few words can really make my day. “That shirt looks good on you”. It’s that simple. No teeth pulling needed. You’ll make me really happy.
6. Have an opinion – I hate when we’re trying to decide on what to do and you say. “I don’t really care.” Saying it sometimes is fine, but I know that MOST of the time, you WILL and DO care. And even if you don’t really care all that much about it, just say one way or the other.
