So…
Lately, I’ve been eating at Panera like once or twice a week. Usually when I go out to lunch with Ryan.
I always get a “You pick 2” with a half sandwhich and half a salad or half a soup.
Now, panera seems like it should be a nice and healthy choice of places to eat, Sandwhich, salad, how bad can that be for you?
Well, yesterday I got: Sierra Turkey and Classic Cafe Salad.
So how bad are these for you? Well:
Sandwhich:
Serving Size: 14 oz | |
Calories: 950 | Sodium: 2390mg |
Total Fat: 54g | Total Carbohydrate: 75g |
Saturated Fat: 14g | Dietary Fiber: 5g |
Trans Fat: 0.5g | Sugars: 5g |
Cholesterol: 95mg | Protein: 41g |
Salad:
Serving Size: 11 oz | |
Calories: 400 | Sodium: 350mg |
Total Fat: 37g | Total Carbohydrate: 18g |
Saturated Fat: 5g | Dietary Fiber: 5g |
Trans Fat: 0g | Sugars: 9g |
Cholesterol: 0mg | Protein: 3g |
Now, assuming you can split those in half.. That’s still 675 Calories… Plus the 190 from the Side dish bread, for a total of 865 calories! And 55.5 grams of fat!
This is crazy! Since I’m sure I’ll still continue to go there, I’m going to have to take some time to figure out what has the least amount of calories!
